Naruto: ROOT Symbiote

"Thank you for saving me."

Gaara felt genuine gratitude towards the Konoha team, especially Naruto.

And as he saw the people of Suna around him happy that he is safe, he felt that there were people behind him for the first time in his life.

In just three years, his life has completely changed, and it started because of Naruto.

While Deidara blew himself up even after getting killed, Sasori gave an Intel before dying.

About him meeting Kabuto in some days.

Kakashi instructed that they should keep the death of Sasori secret and spread word that he managed to escape.

"Alright. We will head back to the village. If any other Akatsuki member shows up, please use this special kunai to inform us."

Kakashi gave one of Shiori's special kunai to Gaara.

Shiori hugged Naruto, and tentacles came out of her back and touched everyone, teleporting then back to Konoha.

"Alright, you all can go home. I and Guy will report the mission."

Kakashi, still on Guy's back, dismissed the team and they headed towards Hokage Office, while the rest of them went to their respective homes.

Shiori walked along with Naruto, smiling fakely without caring that Naruto was cautious and jittery around her.

"Why are you following me!?"

"My home is in the same direction."

Naruto was unsure about what to do, so as soon as they came across Ichiraku Ramen, he realized that he hasn't ate ramen since he came back to the village.

"Wanna eat Ramen?"

"Sure."

They both went inside the ramen shop, and Teuchi was surprised to see Naruto.

"Naruto! You are back to the village!?"

"Yeah! I trained a lot and have become stronger! Where is Ayame nee-chan?"

"She is out for a delivery. Anyway, who is this young miss?"

He asked in a teasing manner.

Shiori smiled and introduced herself.

"I am Naruto's friend, Shiori."

"Oh! A new friend, eh?"

"Hey Naruto, how about we have a contest of Ramen, and you accept becoming more than my friend? My boyfriend?"

"That's not how it works!"

"Hmm, do you think that you would lose?"

"Nah. I'd win."

(First PoV)

"I can still continue..."

I looked at Naruto in amusement. It's his 41st ramen bowl.

But, I have already finished 49.

Seeing him struggle just to make sure that he doesn't become my boyfriend, I feigned sadness.

"It's alright. I take back the challenge. I don't want to force you."

Paying my bill, I teleported away, back to my house.

I shouldn't be too forceful all the time, should I?

Teleporting in my 'home', which is quite close to Naruto's, I took a quick look and found no surveillance with my Byakugan sight.

Leaving behind a Shadow Clone, I teleported inside a ROOT base that is handled by me.

Danzo is still somewhat cautious, so he hasn't gotten into the hive mind.

My symbiote is the Queen symbiote, with purple and gold colors, signifying royalty. I guess it is more like Knull, so I can control all symbiotes.

Though there are counters.

Fire? It will work if it hits. So not really much of a big deal.

Intense chakra like Kurama's? It only worked at that time because I had set my symbiote to not have the abilities of Wood Release and Adamantium chains at that time to hide my strength.

And sound, I overcame it with absorbing and eating Tayuya.

My important weaknesses are Mangekyo Sharingan and Rinnegan genjutsu, just like the tailed beasts. They would be able to take control of me and the hive mind. I have only copied three-tomoe Sharingan, and Shisui's Mangekyo Sharingan is in Danzo's eye.

By now, he must have already been informed that Itachi put me under genjutsu and I was knocked unconscious for a while.

So, he will not wait any longer and use Kotoamatsukami on me.

But, one symbiote of mine which is not in the hive mind, but is bonded to that Sharingan, has been commanded to only restore my memories if it hits me instead of Danzo's intent.

I don't know if that symbiote might betray me after being disconnected for almost a decade, so I plan to not even give Danzo the chance.

I walked over to the lab, where three of my clones were.

Karin appeared before me, clad in a red symbiote which has morphed a white coat over her.

"Shiori-sama, here is your food."

I nodded and took the brains from the tray.

Surprisingly, this world doesn't have chocolates. Or even if there are cocoa, they aren't readily available.

For ROOT, brains are much cheaper.

FOOD!

My symbiote said in glee and my mouth became monstrous, with my large tongue hanging and green saliva dripping down.

Without wasting time, I ate the brains, and felt some chakra and memories getting absorbed in my symbiote.

If it doesn't get a brain for some days, it might even try to eat me. It is always hungry. When it didn't get a brain one day during training, it controlled my body and ate my training partner.

She was a good kid who followed me around.

Mama angry?

No. Why would I be angry at my symbiote who saved me?

After burping, feeling full, I went to the main office, where Lord Danzo is waiting for me.

I opened the door, and kneeled in front of him.

"Sasori gave information that he will be meeting Kabuto in four days."

I said, and Danzo grinned.

After that, I gave him the full report of the mission, not even leaving the part where Itachi used genjutsu on me.

"So, can you still see the future?"

"I don't know. I haven't slept yet."

"Very well. Don't resist. I will remove any genjutsu that Itachi put on you."

With that, he started unwrapping the bandage of his eye.

I reconnected with my first symbiote offspring, and forcibly controlled it to invade Danzo's brain via the optic nerve, and give him an immediate cancer.

Suddenly, Danzo felt wierd, and plucked out the Kotoamatsukami.

"...I guess handling this Sharingan wouldn't be easy. Shiori, use your Byakugan sight and see what happened."

I nodded and activated my Byakugan sight.

"Shisui's chakra is rapidly expanding in your brain! As if a trap was activated-"

Suddenly, the eye that Danzo was holding turned from three-tomoe to the pattern of Kotoamatsukami.

And, Danzo was now under Shiori's control.

He threw the eye at Shiori, and she catched it, and stored it in her symbiote, and her symbiote ate the symbiote that wasn't connected to hive for a decade.

"It seems that Shisui was more prepared than I thought."

Danzo sighed in relief, and Shiori instantly killed the two guards of Danzo.

"Danzo-sama, I should check up your arm?"

"Do it."

Shiori came and removed his arm's bandages, and controlled his arm to induce cancer, that will kill him in 3 months.

Danzo has been taken care of.
