Chapter 18: Chapter 17 Naruto has a fking Susanoo????
"You possess such overwhelming power, yet you place your hopes on others?"
Naruto's voice brimmed with mockery as he gracefully dodged Uchiha Shisui's attacks. The massive spiral sword of Shisui's green Susanoo swirled menacingly, but Naruto stayed one step ahead.
"Such strength... and instead of aiming it at the Uchiha clan's true enemies, you turn it on your own people. Shisui, I can't tell—are you truly Uchiha, or have you become Sarutobi?"
"The Uchiha are part of Konoha!" Shisui snapped, his face taut with resolve. "If anyone harms the village, they harm the clan itself. That makes you my enemy!"
Shisui's spiral sword thrust toward Naruto again, fast and relentless. But with the precision of the Mangekyō Sharingan, Naruto dodged every strike with ease.
Shisui's dilemma weighed heavily on him. He wanted to keep this fight hidden, away from the prying eyes of Konoha and the Uchiha clan. A public confrontation would only escalate tensions. Restraining the size of his Susanoo and avoiding large-scale destruction, Shisui hoped to end this battle quietly.
But Naruto gave him no openings.
*Do I have to use Kotoamatsukami?*
Shisui hesitated. His left eye was reserved for controlling Fugaku, the Uchiha clan head, to prevent a coup. That left only his right eye's Kotoamatsukami, and he wasn't sure if it would work against an opponent of this caliber.
Taking the risk, he activated his ultimate technique.
"Illusion: Kotoamatsukami!"
Shisui's right eye locked onto Naruto, releasing a surge of chakra aimed at rewriting his opponent's very will.
Naruto, mid-dodge, suddenly froze. The invading chakra tried to reshape his thoughts, instilling loyalty to Konoha.
But instead of succumbing, Naruto sneered. *Shisui… you truly are insane, thinking this would work on me.*
The scarlet, spinning tomoe in Naruto's Sharingan connected into a solid line, morphing into two vertical slits. His chakra flared, and a black skeletal Susanoo erupted around him.
"What... What is this?" Shisui's voice trembled.
"You're not the only one with the Mangekyō Sharingan," Naruto replied, his tone dripping with derision.
The sight of Naruto's black Susanoo sent Shisui reeling. "How... How could you awaken it too?!"
Shisui's mind raced. Two sets of Mangekyō Sharingan within the Uchiha clan would shift the balance of power entirely. The radicals would gain unprecedented influence, and the fragile peace Shisui had worked so hard to maintain would collapse.
"Why hide your Mangekyō, Shisui? Afraid of your own clan?"
Shisui tightened his grip on his Susanoo's sword. "Why do you hide yours?"
Naruto paused, seemingly considering his response. "Maybe… because it's fun."
"Fun?!" Shisui roared, his composure fracturing. "How can you treat this power as a game? The future of both the clan and the village hangs in the balance!"
Two titanic Susanoo warriors loomed over the forest—Shisui's green behemoth against Naruto's black demon. Trees trembled under their sheer presence, their forms barely concealed by the dense foliage.
Naruto chuckled. "So tell me, Shisui, which side are you fighting for?"
"I'm fighting for peace! I'll find a way to bridge the gap between the village and the clan," Shisui declared with conviction.
Naruto couldn't help but laugh. "Your *way*? By turning your clan head into a puppet for outsiders? Pathetic."
Shisui stiffened, his Sharingan flaring in shock. "How do you know about that?"
Naruto's smirk deepened. "Why not control the Third Hokage directly, then? Isn't that a more straightforward path to your so-called peace?"
Shisui's composure cracked further. *Is this his Mangekyō ability? How does he know all of this?*
"Let me guess—now you're wondering if my Sharingan sees your thoughts," Naruto taunted, his tone calm but cutting. "Perhaps it does. Or maybe you're just predictable."
"Enough!" Shisui steadied himself, though his hands trembled. "What's your goal here? Do you seek to push the clan into rebellion?"
Naruto's Susanoo dissipated, leaving only his figure shrouded in shadow. A single tree sprouted beneath him, lifting him high above Shisui.
"My goal? To watch the chaos unfold. Maybe I'll intervene if I feel like it, or maybe I won't. Either way, it's none of your business."
"Wait!" Shisui called out, desperation lacing his voice. "You could save the Uchiha! With your power—"
Naruto's mocking voice cut him off. "Save them? From what? Their own stupidity? Their own cowardice?"
As the tree carried Naruto into the distance, his final words lingered in the air.
"Your naivety will kill you, Shisui. Your innocence will doom your clan. And your so-called 'hope' will drag the Uchiha into the abyss."
