NARUTO REMASTERED

Chapter 2: Chapter 2

Rcap--

I loved both of them very much. That's why I was going out becomes so strong that I wouldn't be afraid for their lives. Especially in this cluster fuck world of crazy villains.

As I made my way to the kitchen, I made a decision. No more stalling. Today would be the day I'd start practicing chakra control.

(Shigeru Nara pov)

Ever since the death of my granddaughter and her husband, my daughter-in-law had changed. Before, where there was once a vibrant woman, now there was a melancholic old woman, prone to outbursts of sadness. Even I couldn't contain my sorrow sometimes. But gradually, all of it changed because of Itto. My great-grandson is quite an anomaly.

It was his presence in our lives that helped us heal our emotional scars and trauma. His vibrancy, questions, and intelligence were the things that brought us back.

Ever since he was a newborn, we knew he was different—more intelligent, more focused than a child his age had any right to be. Not to mention, he had already unlocked yang chakra and could clearly sense it. That's why, when he started to play around more and more in his third year, it became obvious to me that he was trying to deplete it.

No child could even passively use normal chakra at this stage. Until they start going to the Academy, they won't be able to gather chakra and spend it actively. Only after their chakra is unlocked in the first year of the Academy do they start to passively create and gather it.

That's why it brings a smile to my face when he thinks he's being secretive about spending his yang chakra, playing more and doing chores around the house. Not to mention, he lives with his grandma and great-grandfather, both of whom were once jonin and chunin before retiring, and who have known him since birth.

It was amusing to us because we could see his physical energy depleting almost every day. Both of us knew what he was up to, but we didn't call him out on it. Why? Because we knew he was a mature kid, despite how young he was. Ever since he was a child, he was incredibly inquisitive. By the time he was one year old, he was already starting to read. By his second birthday, he had read more than 20% of the books here. It might not seem like much, but considering we own a publishing house and have a copy of every single book we've ever published, not to mention my personal records from my time as a jonin—well, those weren't even meant for him yet.

That's one of the reasons we knew he was trying to exhaust his yang chakra. Right after his second birthday, he went from being a kid who sat and read books every chance he got, to one who started playing around more and more. That's when we knew something was going on.

That's also why I was so looking forward to this week. He had hit a wall recently in his development of physical energy through playing. Now, I was very curious to see what he was going to do next. Maybe I should have explained how chakra works to him, but since he kept his training a secret, I too won't say anything. I'm petty like that.

He should be coming to me soon. Only then will I reveal that I've known what he was doing all along—and then I'll make him work hard to earn what I have to teach him about chakra. That'll teach him to keep secrets from family.

That's when I felt it.

WHAT was he doing?!?!

I stretched out my senses in the backyard. He was trying to gather yang chakra inside his body, focusing it in his right hand. But he wasn't creating any ooulet, no technique, no release.

The boy was going to kill himself!!!
