Sasori thought this idea was good it would reduce their burden significantly.

However, he suspected Sasuke's real goal wasn't the Raikage but something else!

Yet, Sasori couldn't figure out what Sasuke's objective was at the moment.

After all, no one would expect Sasuke to target the Eight-Tails. The Eight-Tails Jinchūriki was no pushover not someone anyone could easily take down.
