Naruto activated the Flying Thunder God and instantly arrived at the location where Jiraiya had been rescued.

Securing Danzo's right arm within a sealing scroll, he advanced into the depths of Amegakure. Heavy rain continued to pour down, drenching him as he moved forward.

Somewhere within the rain-soaked village, Nagato's eyes suddenly snapped open.

Konan tilted her head slightly. "What is it?"

Nagato's gaze darkened. "An intruder... someone is disrupting my rain. They appeared very close to us, and their chakra is powerful."

Konan frowned. "Could it be Jiraiya-sensei again?"

Nagato shook his head. "No. I know Sensei's chakra too well. This is someone else." He exhaled sharply. "Konan, as before."

She nodded. "Understood."

Nagato channeled his chakra, and outside, the Deva Path moved into position atop a tall tower, forming hand seals.

"Rain Tiger at Will Technique... Release."

Simultaneously, Konan activated her Paper Jutsu. Her body disassembled into countless paper fragments, folding themselves into delicate butterflies before dispersing into the storm.

Naruto glanced up. The rain had ceased.

"So, I've been noticed," he muttered. "Better move faster."

He leaped to a secluded area, formed a hand seal, and summoned three shadow clones, each beginning to gather Sage Chakra.

Because of the long distance between Konoha and Amegakure, Jiraiya had taken three or four days to reach this place, even with the assistance of toads traveling over water. The Flying Thunder God was much faster, but it drained enormous amounts of chakra over such a long range.

As soon as Naruto landed, the Sage Chakra he had initially stored was depleted. Consequently, when Nagato's rain technique had touched him, it had only detected his normal chakra signature—not the potent Sage Chakra he had used in their last encounter.

Additionally, the last time Naruto had entered Amegakure, Nagato had already ceased using his rain technique due to Jiraiya's intrusion, meaning Naruto had never been exposed to it before. Thus, Nagato had not immediately realized he had returned.

In a dimly lit, water-streaked building, Naruto sat cross-legged, waiting. His clones were working quickly, and soon, he felt the rush of Sage Chakra filling his system. His Sage Mode activated, and instantly, his sensory range expanded.

At that moment, a paper butterfly fluttered toward him.

Naruto smirked, stepping forward and catching it between his fingers. "No need to search, Konan-Senpai. It's me."

The surrounding origami swiftly converged, reassembling into a human form. A woman clad in a black cloak adorned with red clouds emerged—the body still maintaining an origami-like texture.

"You..." Konan's amber eyes narrowed. "The Nine-Tails Jinchūriki. Naruto Uzumaki."

Naruto sighed. "Konan-Senpai , is that really how you're going to address me?"

Konan remained expressionless. "That is how you are recorded in Akatsuki's intelligence network."

Naruto let out a small, resigned chuckle. It made sense. At this point, neither Konan nor Nagato had reason to see him as anything but an enemy. They had already resolved to eliminate Jiraiya. Expecting them to welcome him warmly was wishful thinking.

"Why are you here?" Konan asked, her tone edged with caution.

Naruto met her gaze. "I'm here to meet Nagato Senpai. I told him last time that I'd return when I had the chance."

Behind her, two massive wings of paper unfurled, lifting her into the air. She looked down at him coldly. "There is no ' Nagato Senpai' here. You're in the wrong place. And trespassing in the domain of a god is a crime punishable by death."

Without another word, her wings shifted, transforming into a barrage of razor-sharp paper projectiles, launching toward Naruto in rapid succession.

Naruto, now fully in Sage Mode, effortlessly dodged, weaving through the relentless assault.

Surprisingly, Konan maintained pursuit, her attacks continuous, resembling the relentless fire of a machine gun. She kept him under constant pressure, forcing him to stay on the move, darting along the wet walls of the buildings.

"Is this really all you've got?" Naruto called out, genuinely unimpressed. "I just don't like hitting women."

With a flick of his wrist, he planted a kunai into the ground, then hurled another toward Konan. He disappeared in a flash—reappearing midair beside her, his palm outstretched.

"Sage Art: Giant Rasengan!"

Konan intensified her paper barrage, but the spiraling sphere of chakra shredded through her attacks, sending fragments of paper scattering in all directions. With Naruto's strength, the Rasengan continued its advance, pressing toward her.

If this continued, her paper body would be completely disintegrated.

A sudden, overwhelming force erupted between them.

"Shinra Tensei."

The sheer repulsive force sent Naruto hurtling backward. However, he reacted swiftly, using the Flying Thunder God to blink back to his previously marked kunai, avoiding a hard impact.

Konan steadied herself, looking at the newly arrived figure. "He's stronger than I expected."

Pain—the Deva Path—hovered beside her, his Rinnegan fixed upon Naruto. "Leave. I'll handle the rest."

She nodded and withdrew, vanishing from the battlefield. Meanwhile, Tendo Pain slowly ascended, floating in the rain-soaked sky as he confronted Naruto.

Naruto gazed up at him with a mix of awe and determination.

"Man, the Rinnegan really is something else." He smirked, thoughts drifting to his past life. "I could only fly after gaining the Six Paths power and mastering the Truth-Seeking Orbs... but here you are, just hovering like it's nothing."

In the present world, very few had the ability to fly. Gaara could do it using his sand, while the Tsuchikage, Onoki, could manipulate his weight to achieve flight. But Pain's ability to levitate freely was something else entirely.

Naruto clenched his fists. His goal became even clearer.

He locked eyes with Pain and grinned. "Alright, Senpai. How about we meet properly and have a talk?"
