Upon seeing the arrival of the Loki Familia and the other adventurers, the giant elven monster stopped what it was doing. It had been devouring those insects to store up magical power, it itself was a type of mage.

In the original work, Riveria also crushed this monster at Level 6. And terms of her strength, she should have reached Level 7 now. Otherwise, the Loki Familia wouldn't have struggled so much against such a foe.

"Finally found a worthy opponent? Well then, let's not hold back. Lefiya, take care of the outskirts, and leave the rest to us!"

The personal strength of Finn and his team matched their opponent's, so they charged directly toward the monster.

"Then let's go! Summon holy flames..."

After seeing Finn and the others rushing forward, the elven monster and its allies began chanting quickly.

"Chanting? This monster can use magic? And it's chanting at such high speed? How is that even possible?!"

The mages, including Lefiya, were shocked by the sight. But this Finn was not the Finn from the original work, and even that version of Finn was able to find the monster's weaknesses.

Noticing the monster chanting its spell, Finn instantly hurled his weapon with such speed that the elven monster couldn't react in time. The weapon struck it square in the head, causing it to explode on impact.

"Ais, you're the fastest. Take her down before she finishes her chant!"

Before the monster could recover, Finn drew his second weapon and once again blew up the rapidly regenerating creature. The situation for the monster was dire, as it had multiple magical spells up its sleeve, much like in the original work.

However, the monster in the original work also met its end due to carelessness. Even after it had knocked down Riveria and Gareth with a barrage of attacks, it didn't press its advantage. If it had kept chanting, the Loki Familia would've been wiped out in the original work.

But this time, the tables had turned. The monster couldn't even finish its chant, and despite the high-speed casting, it met a tragic fate, as Finn disrupted it repeatedly.

Even when the monster tried to put up a defensive spell, Finn effortlessly broke through its defenses. During this time, Lefiya had already begun her own spell, and her magic was ready to strike.

At this moment, Although Lefiya wasn't at Level 5 yet, her series of bombardments nearly destroyed the monster. The only reason the monster lasted as long as it did was because it absorbed magic stones quickly, otherwise, it would have been obliterated already.

"As expected of the adventurers of the Loki Familia, each of them is terrifying! Honestly, I almost feel bad for the monster. It was clearly trying to chant some powerful magic, but it couldn't even finish!"

The other adventurers were stunned as well. They couldn't help but be impressed by how the Loki Familia members gave their opponent no chance to retaliate. It was almost unfair, and the monster must have been feeling utterly miserable by now.

The elven creature wanted to cry but couldn't, as it met its end. After its death, a blood-red crystal pillar emerged from behind it, with green vines coiling around its body. This revealed the secret behind the giant flower's birth.

However, Ais didn't dwell on this. Clearly, this was no good thing, so she cut it apart without hesitation. After severing the crystal pillar, the giant flowers throughout the cave began to wither, as they were dependent on this core for survival.

Much like magic stones, without this core, the flowers could no longer continue to live.

"So this is the core of the giant flower's birth? If that's the case, it should be fine now, right?"

As they watched the flowers wither away, Finn and the others knew the crisis had been averted.

"It's strange. Although this immediate danger is gone, I still feel like something's missing. How exactly was this monster born? It clearly evolved from the giant flower. Is this the dungeon's doing? Or is someone else behind it?"

Finn's sixth sense was sharp, and he sensed something was off. Perhaps there was a mastermind manipulating things from the shadows. If the giant flower could give birth to such a creature, why not wait until more of them appeared to invade?

First, there was Revis, and now there's another figure. I should've realized earlier. Revis was unique, but there's nothing that says only one person can be special. This dungeon seems to be hiding a lot of secrets!"

After seeing the footprints, Finn confirmed his suspicions, and there was indeed a larger issue at hand.

"Captain, what should we do now? If the dungeon is hiding dangers like this, it could be a huge problem!"

Lefiya and the others were taken aback, now growing worried. After all, if the enemy had acted once, there was nothing stopping them from striking again. Who knew how many others might be lurking in the dungeon?

There had been no signs before, and now, all of a sudden, these threats had appeared. It was hard to accept.

"Let's go back for now. Make sure not to spread this information around, otherwise, all of Orario will be thrown into panic. The enemy is hiding within the dungeon, and for the moment, there's nothing we can do about it. Let's return to Hestia and the others and discuss our next steps!"

Finn had no other choice. He gathered everyone to retreat, planning to regroup and decide their course of action back in Orario. For now, they could do nothing but wait.
