Naruto: Neurolink Transmigration

Chapter 21: Chapter 19: Shadow Dance / Kage no mai

At night, in my house…

---Notification! The martial arts fusion has been completed and will be injected as a dream reward once you complete tonight's dream simulation!

Hmm, why do I have to finish the mission first?

---In a sleeping state, your brain's receptors are easier to deceive! So I just need to input the training data like yesterday!

Alright, alright. Time to sleep!

---

In the dream world:

Ding! Reward received and health restored. Prepare for the next wave of monsters!

"Urghh, damn it! Give me some rest, motherfucker!"

I, now fully healed, felt frustrated as I didn't feel like I had enough rest. I shouted angrily at the sky.

"Only 5 minutes! Damn, even though I'm back in my prime state, isn't this too much!?"

Ding! Completion reward = Shadow Dance SSS Taijutsu Style

"? Nevermind, this system is good as hell!"

Then, I saw 20 goblins charging toward me, and I smiled.

"Hahaha! Come to papa, little green! I don't know what the fuck Shadow Dance Taijutsu is, but from the name and rarity, it seems strong! So come here and let me get a new Taijutsu style!"

I stood in the middle of their circle. Twenty goblins, each larger than me, with disgusting fangs and rusty weapons. Their breath stank, and their eyes were filled with primitive hatred. Me? I just smiled.

They thought I was prey. They were wrong.

One goblin roared and lunged. I saw it—not just with my eyes, but with my Sharingan. The world slowed down. Its claw strike was clear to read. I didn't need to think. Ryūjin Shingan-ryu flowed through my body.

Srek! My left sword slashed its neck, green blood spurted out, and its body fell before it even realized it was dead.

The others started rushing in together. Five, eight, ten goblins attacked from all directions.

"Doton: Doryūheki!"

I pressed my hand to the ground. A stone wall rose, stopping the ones in front of me. But I didn't need protection. I jumped on top of it, both of my swords spinning mid-air.

Fire gathered in my mouth. I am an Uchiha. I carry flames that burn everything.

"Katon: Gōkakyū no Jutsu!"

A giant fireball shot forward, engulfing four goblins in a blazing explosion. Their screams echoed through the forest. I landed behind them, my right sword sweeping through, finishing off two more that were still burning.

Fifteen remained. They hesitated. I could see it. They thought I was a monster. Maybe I was.

I smiled.

"Continue."

---

Ding! Mission complete! Reward: "Shadow Dance (影の舞, Kage no Mai) obtained!"

"To think it would be this easy after getting yesterday's reward—"

Then, a sudden dizziness hit me, and I fell into a long, long training simulation.

---

Year 1

I began with the basics of Shadow Dance, understanding my own body. No aggressive movements, just learning balance, breathing, and energy efficiency. Every step had to flow, no wasted movement allowed. The first day alone made every muscle in my body burn.

---

Year 7

I started understanding how to use an opponent's attack as part of my own movement. Enemies no longer felt like threats but like pieces of a dance I had to control. Systema taught me that combat wasn't just about brute force, but about turning the opponent's momentum into my own weapon.

---

Year 13

Today, I successfully dodged 10 attacks in less than a second and countered with a single movement. Uchiha Interceptor Style and Jeet Kune Do blended perfectly—one eye reads, one body reacts. Nothing is more satisfying than making an enemy attack without realizing they've already lost.

---

Year 21

I fought against five opponents at once. No blocking, only redirection and repositioning. Silat taught me never to face an enemy head-on—always move, always be where they don't expect. With unpredictable movement patterns, I began to feel like I was dancing through death.

---

Year 30

Krav Maga forced me to eliminate mercy. No fight should last long. One strike to the throat, one to the knee, and one to the main nerve at the back of the head—done. Maximum efficiency is the ultimate goal.

---

Year 37

I started training head-based attacks like Lethwei. Not just punches and kicks, but every part of my body became a weapon. If my hands were restrained, then my elbows and head would speak.

---

Year 44

I spent 365 days just walking and dodging. No attacks, only evasion, reading enemy movements, and using space. I realized that victory doesn't always mean attacking first, but making the enemy believe they still have control of the fight.

---

Year 50

Today, I noticed my body no longer moves based on thought, but instinct. There are no more consciously planned strategies—everything flows naturally. Jeet Kune Do has reached its peak within me.

---

Year 63

I fought an enemy ten times faster than me. I didn't win with speed, but with time. I only needed to wait for one mistake—one gap in their movement. After that, it only took half a second to finish it.

---

Year 71

Today, I trained against weapons. Systema and Silat gave me the best solution—never fight a weapon directly. Redirect, control, then strike back at the weakest point. The enemy's sword never touched me, yet they still fell one by one.

---

Year 82

This training session involved fighting more than 20 enemies at once. I didn't fight them—I disappeared among them. With movements impossible to predict, I was everywhere and nowhere at the same time.

---

Year 90

I fought without seeing. My eyes were no longer my guide—sound, wind, and air pressure were. I could feel every movement my opponents made before they even executed them. I wasn't just fighting anymore; I had become one with my surroundings.

---

Year 100

Today, I realized I no longer need to fight. My movements are perfect, no one can touch me. Even before an enemy attacks, they've already lost in their own minds. Shadow Dance is not just a martial art, but a principle. Not just for fighting, but for controlling the world around me.
