Reko was tagging along with Tsume as they kept running in the wilderness.

Yesterday, Reko had visited the hokage office willingly in hopes that he would get a mission which would make him a student under Tsunade.

But Tsunade gave him a mission directly, instead of wasting time on testing Reko. He barely got the chance to explain his desire to specialise in medical ninjutsu, but Tsunade acted as if she did not hear him.

There was a suspicious movement in the border area and Tsunade had called for Tsume and team Kurenai to patrol at the border.

Because Reko had visited together with Tsume, Tsunade decided to make Reko and Tsume a team for ease of the mission. Both of them were good enough to act independently and could team up in case trouble arrived.

Reko accepted, not wanting the chance to meet Kurenai go to waste. While at it, he could also charge his kekkei genkai.

Right now, almost two days had passed as he continuously kept sending chakra to Steal and his calculation was far off, very much far off!! he was going to need another day to get a genin level charge.

His recovery rate was good enough, but the surplus chakra was barely enough to sustain the charging of his kekkei genkai.

He just hoped that he would be able to come across a Chunin opponent and get a charge from unaliving him. This charging from chakra was really exhausting and needed patience.

'Almost 70% done! By tonight, I will have one charge for use.' Reko thought, as kept running with Tsume.

Kurenai was leading her Genins, their specialisation in tracking was put to use. Tsume on the other hand was travelling with Reko, covering the opposite direction from team Kurenai.

'I was happy that Kurenai joined in, she's thirty plus, and is really pretty but this lowers my chances of getting intimate with Tsume.' In the beginning, Reko was happy to see Kurenai. But later on, it added on to his problems.

Not only was it difficult for him to make a move on Kurenai because of her Genins, but the fact that Tsume was focused on searching for enemies deterred him from trying to disturb her too.

Team Tsume and team Kurenai were both nearby, searching for the enemy with their specialisation as they kept patrolling.

"Let's go, meet them at the location. This area is clear too!" Tsume ordered Reko as the team leader of the duo. She had thoroughly searched the area she was responsible for and found it empty of anyone suspicious.

'I hope that there is no enemy, but the mission stated that I have to prevent casuality.' Reko followed Tsume, but inside his mind he was still thinking of the mission he had gotten from the system screen. The mission he had got stated that he needed to prevent casuality, meaning that there would be danger from enemies.

As they went forward, they came close to a fresh lake, causing Tsume to stand still in contemplation.

"I will take a quick bath. You watch out for me." Tsume ordered Reko before quickly taking off her clothes, ready to dive in the lake.

'Woaah! I can't get that butt out of my mind.' Reko thought as he kept a watch at Tsume's body instead of the surroundings. He was ogling at Tsume's curvy body as Tsume slowly removed her clothes step by step.

'Is she hinting on something? Last time, it all started with bath.' Reko thought, trying to see Tsume. He was able to see her back, fit and full of muscles. However, her butt was really curvy, thicker compared to her flat stomach.

As Reko heard another notification, he checked out the new mission, realising that there was an enemy. He glanced at the ground, searching for the trails of human hiding under the soil, and he actually found it close to the lake. 

Tsume's ninja beast was strolling around the area while Tsume was submerging herself in water.

'So, she was not really taking a bath. It was meant to ease up the enemy.' Reko thought, realising that Tsume was pretending to take a bath when in reality she was actually targeting the enemy.

'Or did she just realise it?' Reko glanced at Tsume turning her head to the spot where her ninja beast was suspiciously moving. Her expression seemed to be one of surprise as she took a look at the spot.

'Should I for Rasengan? Even though it's not complete, the damage should be enough to travel underground and kill the enemy.' Before Tsume could alert him about the chances of enemy being under that spot, Reko was already closing up, thinking of his next move.

'Just use two of them together, I don't need to think of my proficiency at the moment. It's good as long as I am able to make my attack pass through the ground.' Reko wanted to use rasengan because it was the only attack in his arsenal which could go through the ground.

But the problem was that he was not yet able to form a rasengan, at least not with one body. Though, using a shadow clone was another cheat. He could use a proper rasengan in the same way like Naruto.

The traces on the soil made it obvious that the enemy was on the surface level, barely a few inches under the soil. So, Reko decided to summon two shadow clones.

'Rasengan!!' Two of Reko's shadow clones put together their hands and a deep blue ball of chakra was intensely spinning on the palm.

Clash!!

on Reko's signal, the clone made the rasengan clash with the ground while the other clone stayed back with a kunai and paper bombs in his hands.

AAGGHHHHH!!!

'What is that attack? A paper bomb??' Tsume thought in surprise as she saw the spark of light behind Reko's clone.

She was already out of the water and barely wore her pants, preparing to help Reko take down the hidden enemy. Her sense of smell was a little messed up because of the presence of lake water.

She saw that Reko quickly made a shadow clone and did a shining attack.

Woof!!

Tsume's dog was pointing in another direction though.
