'What a good chance! I can visit her daily and spar with her, and she would reward me when I win too.' Reko thought happily.

On his way back home, he kept thinking of a plan to properly utilise his time for his training.

'I have gained chakra directly from quests but chakra is originally made by combining physical energy with spiritual energy. Doesn't that mean my physique would get stronger too?'

'That thing aside, I need a jutsu to increase my strength. Or maybe not?'

Reko glanced at the figure of Hokages on the mountain and gained a good idea to train his physique.

'Didn't Kakashi train his physique by climbing the mountain with one hand?!! I can try that out and depending on my strength level, I would decide next.'

He began heading to the mountain with his peak speed. Since he thought of the idea, he decided that he might as well try it.

"Now that I am seeing it myself, this Hokage rock looks really tall up close. I wonder how that kid used to climb up that high without any ninja training."

"Might as well begin the climb!" While on the way, he had picked up a stopwatch. He needed it to monitor his timings.

He decided to begin the rock climbing with the use of chakra first to make a good comparison.

"Damn that was fun!! I did not realise using chakra to climb could be this exciting."

"Let's see how much time did I spend on climbing this mountain for first time..." He checked the stopwatch.

"Hmm.. a good seven minutes. I don't know if it's quick or slow but seven minutes sounds alright."

"Time to climb down and then try coming back up without using chakra." He reached the foot of the mountain with ease.

...

"I did not want to admit it but this doesn't seem fun anymore. The climb still remains incomplete." He was huffing mid climb, thinking of taking a rest already, the climb without chakra was difficult.

"What the hell is this height!!! I am worried now that I am seeing below while climbing. I just wish I don't fall off from this height."

Reko looked out of breath after climbing for a quarter of an hour. When he took a break, he happened to look down the mountain.

He was scared after seeing the height, he did not know of other shinobis but a Chunin like him would surely be dead after falling off the hokage rock mountain.

But at the same time Reko also felt that he would be able to throw his kunai into the mountain and survive the fall pretty easily by using it as a support, the reflex of his body made him confident.

He took a small break, and then began to climb up again with a controlled pace this time.

"A whole fifty five minutes? That is a lot compared to the climb I completed with chakra." When he finally reached the peak of the mountain, he pulled out the stopwatch from his pocket to check time.

When he used Chakra to climb to the peak, he was able to complete it within seven minutes. Though, he did get tired after climbing the steep climb, muscles in his thighs and core were thoroughly exercised.

After almost twenty minutes of rest, Reko decided to reach the foot of mountain again before trying climbing the peak.

The large reserves of Chakra in his body was able to heal his body of minor injuries and recovered his stamina instantly, causing him to begin his training again.

He climbed two more times before dusk, the lack of visibility in sunlight caused him to quit for the day but he knew that his muscles were properly trained.

"What is that guy doing on the mountain? Climbing up and then rushing down!!" Tsunade looked at the hokage rock and found a suspicious figure on it.

"I thought that I would help him by giving him a precious jutsu which he could use to join the ranks of Jonins. It's a pity!" Upon closer look, she realised that the man was none other than Reko Senju who she helped.

Disappointment filled her mind, but she let it go. She showed a favour to the Chunin, if he did not cherish it then not her fault.

"That idiot Jiraya looked so optimistic of that guy. I should not have had any expectations from him."

Somewhere in between the mountains.

*Achhoo* "Haah.. who's badmouthing me at this time?" Jiraya sneezed hard, he was in between his great research, he was trying to develop the next character of his book.

"Must be that Chunin kid, because I did not ask him to come along with me for research.

Or Tsunade maybe? I forgot to tell her about Reko's talent in ninjutsu."

He suddenly recalled Reko and thought that perhaps the kid was cursing him after realising how amazing of a chance he had missed.

In back of the mind, he also recalled that it could be Tsunade, one of the only friends he had who could be thinking about him.

Or she could be cursing him for not meeting before he left the village with Naruto. He also forgot to mention about Reko's amazing talent in ninjutsu to her.

"Not 106 but quite close!!" He glanced at one of the beautiful woman he had been following who was quite curvy.

Back at the village hidden in leaf, in Hokage's office.

"Hmm? Him again? Is he training his physical strength?" Tsunade looked at the hokage rock again, Reko was there, and he seemed to be training himself.

"This is his fourth time.. he is quite disciplined." It was the fourth day when she had consecutively seen Reko train. She was taken back from his discipline, and the image of Reko inside her mind changed for better.

She felt good that a Chunin who she thought highly of was so motivated, the village still had hope for greatness. There many shinobis with great heart here.

Tsunade happily got back to her desk work, leaving the clueless Shizune confused.
