Chapter 3: 3
Before he could proceed, Kushina cut him off once more, a bead of sweat appearing behind both men.
"Don't be dull, Minato, it's a joyful event, let's have a dinner party. I will learn while I do it, you know that, right? NOW, elder, you will accompany us. I can't allow you to perish before I assume control."
Not waiting for their response, she leaves. Both men shared a light laugh.
"What a storm of activity!" "I'm unsure how you manage her," Hiruzen whispers.
Upon hearing this, Minato laughs, "I don't, or more precisely, I don't have the courage." "Now you must steer this Whirlwind."
Hiruzen couldn't shake the feeling that the days ahead would truly be busy. Although he was pleased, the new company would surely be more attractive than his former secretary, Hineko-san.
By the time the two men arrived at Minato's home, Kushina had already prepared Naruto. Who was nearly leaping at her feet at the idea of a full-on Ramen feast.
The company quickly became part of Akemichi's upscale restaurant run directly by clan leader Choza. Akemichis featured the finest eateries in Konoha, and the great aspect was they catered to all types of people.
Their eateries were organized in tiers accordingly. Choza welcomes them and promptly places them in a secluded booth, advantages of being the village leader.
While Naruto feels let down about missing a private ramen feast, he enjoys the noodle dishes available and gazes in awe at the variety of plates being brought out.
They consume their meals, enjoy some beverages, and discuss various news from around the world. As they exit, Choza gives Naruto some jerky. They parted ways, with Hiruzen reminding Kushina to meet him in the office at 9 am in the morning.
Upon arriving home, exhausted Naruto swiftly falls asleep while Kushina makes sure he is tucked into bed. After shutting his door, she grins slyly at Minato. Before he could grasp what was happening, she tugged him into their bedroom.
"I'm unsure when you'll return, according to my job role." Although I'm uncertain if we'll have a chance, you know," Minato agrees, and they swiftly undress each other for another round.
It's approximately early morning when Minato prepares. Kushina swiftly dons a short gown that reaches her knees. "Kushina, I need to leave." If I don't arrive by sunrise, which is approaching quickly, forces will be anxiously waiting for me and may start to panic. "Even with me rushing over to them, it will take me a while."
Kushina smiles, kisses him on the lips, and replies, "I will be here waiting for you, dattebane."
Minato gives her a nod. "Look after yourself and Naruto." Wishing you the best of luck with the job. "I fully trust you," he says as they part ways, then he disappears.
Kushina lets out a sigh. It's still early, so she attempts to sleep, but she struggles to rest due to her excitement about the new job. Breathing heavily, she heads to the bathroom.
After enjoying a calming bath, she emerges in her usual home attire: a long green skirt and a white sleeveless top. She prepares ramen for herself and Naruto, packed with plenty of vegetables and meat.
Naruto was selective about his food but could consume anything if it was paired with ramen. They prepare Naruto swiftly and eat breakfast. She advises Naruto to give his all and not irritate his Anbu guards.
Naruto smiles, and Neko arrives to take him. Naruto embraces her, and she plants kisses on his cheeks, causing him great embarrassment.
Kushina prepares herself by wearing her usual Shinobi attire. Navy tight-fitting trousers paired with a blue long-sleeve sweatshirt underneath a green Jonin vest. Beneath, she had mesh armor on top of her underwear.
She arrives at the Hokage's office exactly 5 minutes prior to 9. Shinobis at the tower incline and salute her, already aware of her recent status. Upon entering the office, she is taken aback to find Hiruzen already hard at work.
She felt a bead of sweat form at a situation that had been familiar since her youth. At times, she questioned whether he worked on paperwork even while he was asleep.
He glances up and grins at her, "Ah Kushina, you're here, perfectly on time as well." Alright, let's head to the meeting chambers where I summoned Advisors, the Jounin commander, the Anbu Head, and of course the clan leaders regarding your position.
"You are already familiar with the majority of them." "This serves as the official introduction of you as Deputy Hokage, or we could say, the next in line for the position."
Kushina grinned at this. "You didn't need to do that, old man."
Hiruzen shakes his head, saying, "First of all, Kushina, you need to refer to me as Hiruzen or Sandaime when you're with them." Feel free to call me anything you like when we're alone.
"Additionally, we in Konoha adhere to the procedure, and this marks your entry into a new position." Considering your unique situation, I understand that you were granted exemption from tedious classes focused on political matters and Shinobi etiquette during your time at the academy. "However, make an effort to learn at this moment."
Kushina flushes slightly at those recollections, practically insisting that he be spared from those grueling lessons. She had been permitted because she was Jinchurikki.
At that moment, all those in authority had concurred that those lessons would be futile for her. Instead, she received her preferred lesson in kenjutsu and, naturally, Fuinjutsu.
"I will do my utmost, Old-Sandaime sama, at this moment." "Let's kick this off." They promptly enter rooms where all the listed individuals are already present.
Hiruzen clears his throat while sitting down, and Kushina is given a chair beside him. "Thank you for coming at such short notice." As many of you are aware, I would like to officially announce your upcoming Hokage Operations and present the current Deputy Hokage. Kushina Uzumaki.
Kushina rises and bows slightly, "I appreciate it, Sandaime-Sama; it's a delight to meet you all." "Kindly take good care of me, as I will be in your hands."
Hiruzen was astonished that she could speak in a formal manner. On the other hand, he ought to have faith in Minato.
Many people present who had known her shared the same thoughts. They found it difficult to believe that Kushina acted this way.
Although her sagging breasts attracted the gaze of many men, they couldn't see much, yet that didn't hinder their imaginations from running rampant.
At last, Tsume, the leader of the Inuzuka clan, ended the quiet and praised her. Before long, others joined in.
