Naruto: Konoha Silver Wolf

Chapter 35: overtake him

With a sharp clash, a figure appeared behind Uchiha Yōju, using a kunai to deflect Kakashi's attack. Kakashi's eyes narrowed as he immediately leaped back, realizing his plan to provoke Yōju into losing his cool had failed, thwarted by Uchiha Ren's timely intervention.

"Yōju! Calm down!" Ren shouted angrily, glaring at Yōju, who had nearly been killed due to his momentary loss of control.

Yōju, now filled with fear, quickly responded, "I understand!"

Suppressing his anger, Yōju forced himself to remain calm. Seeing that they had regained their composure, Kakashi knew that further attempts to provoke them would be futile.

"What should I do now? How can I defeat them both?" Kakashi pondered, understanding the severe disadvantage he faced against two Sharingan users. His thoughts raced as he realized the futility of escaping without a clear plan.

Kakashi's mind drifted to his original timeline's summons, Pakkun, and the other ninken. If he had them now, fighting alone would not be so daunting. "After this, I need to find myself a summoning animal," he resolved.

Pushing aside these idle thoughts, Kakashi refocused on the battle at hand, forming hand seals rapidly. "Earth Release: Earth Flow Spears!" he shouted, mimicking the earth technique Yōju had used earlier. The ground cracked open, racing towards Ren and Yōju.

In the chaos, Kakashi turned and dashed away, hoping to use the time to devise a new strategy. He knew he couldn't outrun them forever, but any brief respite was valuable.

"You think you can run? Not a chance!" Ren sneered, giving chase alongside Yōju. Kunai and Shuriken flew towards Kakashi, who managed to dodge them but at the cost of slowing his pace.

"Chidori!" Kakashi's hand crackled with lightning, hidden from view by his own body. After narrowly avoiding another kunai, he suddenly turned, thrusting his lightning-covered hand towards Yōju.

"Foolish! You can't hide your moves from our eyes," Yōju taunted, easily dodging Kakashi's attack.

Missing his mark, Kakashi quickly darted away again. "Damn it, I can't outmaneuver them with the Sharingan. They're too calm and focused," he thought, feeling his chakra depleting.

"I need a new strategy," Kakashi realized, frustrated by his inability to defeat or evade his opponents. His mind raced for a solution as he dodged their relentless attacks.

As the battle wore on, Kakashi's anxiety grew. He felt his options dwindling and his energy waning. "What can I do?" he thought desperately. "I can't die here. I haven't even found Tsunade yet!"

But just as despair threatened to overtake him, a sudden flash of inspiration struck. "Of course!" he thought, an idea forming rapidly in his mind. "This might just work."

A newfound determination lit up Kakashi's eyes as he prepared to execute his plan. "This time, you two are finished!" he declared, his confidence returning as he set his strategy in motion.
