NARUTO: In the Era of Sannin

Months passed by as Yuichi adjusted himself to his new surroundings of the classroom and completed his self made goals.

He focused on every aspect of being a ninja and this was an important goal of his as he was focusing to achieve a genin status in this year's early graduation exam. 

The exam was already a few days away now but he still had many incomplete goals but this was okay. He had never expected to achieve everything from the start. 

One of such goals was completing flying thunder god technique but far from completing it wasn't even in his beginning stages. 

Yuichi had regularly followed his same routine and it was already over a year of him in this world doing it. He felt great in this life as he enjoyed it. Everyday was a new challenge that he enjoyed and even the resting days that he created for himself were fun. 

He who had also lived his life just for moving forwards never knew a second life like this will be this good. 

He had already trashed the idea of preserving the flow of the story and had decided to make changes in it that he felt suitable accordingly. 

He stopped avoiding conversations with casts and even engagingly asked many doubts about jutsus during learning from them. It was clear to Yuichi that he was a little slow in learning jutsus as he felt a little difficulties during understanding the chakra flow pattern and connecting it with hand signs. 

Yuichi felt a little frustrated as it wasn't as easy as it came with fuinjutsu but he was up for the challenge. 

He learned 5 E rank jutsus that were required for early graduation but he also learned a few more that could help him in future. 

Though none of them were greater than D rank as there was a limit placed on the rank of jutsus that an aspiring ninja could learn. 

Even after searching the library, the sole source from where a civilian academy student can learn Jutsu techniques, Yuichi didn't find any greater than D rank present there. But a huge variety of ninjutsu were present.

Yuichi only picked a few of them to learn, 5 to be exact. It wasn't like he didn't want to learn more however because it was not possible for him to learn a nature specific jutsu technique without training in that nature, he was only bound with lightning and wind. 

He chose one D rank technique of both affinities namely, wind wall and lightning sense. These two were best among all the options. 

For the rest three Yuichi learned Body flicker, Shuriken manipulation and Genjutsu dispel techniques.

Yuichi didn't learn any offensive techniques as all of the D rank ones were clearly a waste of time in his eyes and in exchange he already had one bloodline specific technique for offense.

He had spent months mastering it and was still not half way done. However he had greatly increased the time limit of using it.

The advantages of lightning enhancement was that it boosted his power in taijutsu and gave him lightning strikes as an offensive attack upon contact with the enemy but the downgrade was very evident too. 

He wasn't able to use any other technique while using it. Also, it didn't give him any range attack and he had to engage in close combat. 

Yuichi was sure that these problems will also get treated as he will master the technique wholly but for now he had to adjust with this. 

In these few months Yuichi also learned a little more about the stats in his status screen and how he could increase each one of them. 

He had 5 stats; strength, agility, intelligence, perception and chakra namely and Yuichi followed different methods to increase them. 

For strength, pure physical strength increasing training was the key, taijutsu training also contributes to this.

For agility, chakra enhancement, lightning enhancement and other agility enhancing techniques were the key.

For intelligence, Yuichi only finds reading books and doing fuinjutsu beneficial and for perception the hardest to increase stat, lightning enhancement was the only thing he found that works. 

Lastly, increasing the chakra was the easiest among all stats. It wasn't easy in the beginning but after he started practicing the lightning enhancement bloodline technique he found the answer. 

To increase the chakra stat he just used the chakra to the brink and then replenished it by meditation and chakra flow methods. 

Though it looked simple it worked wonders and Yuichi himself experienced it. But it was also not very simple to do as if he did this more than two times he faced severe consequences like blood coming out of his nose and mouth or instant fainting. 

Also it wasn't possible for Yuichi to hit this rock bottom in chakra by normal means after all you could die of chakra depletion. 

In a way this method was only possible by Yuichi as he had a system which stops his lightning enhancement bloodline technique just before he could die of chakra depletion. 

Although this was risky, he was now accustomed to it. 

The months of hard work of Yuichi was evident in his status screen and looking at it Yuichi felt prepared for the early graduation exam.
