Fugaku and Shisui looked at Naruto angrily. Although everything had gone as expected, watching their clansmen being slaughtered still left them feeling deeply helpless.

They knew that short-term pain was preferable to prolonged suffering, yet the weight of responsibility bore down on them.

One was the head of the Uchiha clan, and the other was a man who had once placed his Mangekyō on the line to protect peace between the Uchiha and Konoha.

Naruto, ever the joker, made a few quips, attempting to ease the oppressive atmosphere, but it was futile.

The two remained silent for a long time before Naruto finally spoke. "Let's go. Konoha's forces will be arriving soon."

Without another word, the three of them left the ruined Uchiha district.

Naruto, who had witnessed the darkness hidden beneath Konoha's surface, understood that this was far from the idealistic world shown in his past life's anime.

If not for his intervention, the Uchiha clan—hundreds of lives—would have been erased tonight, leaving only Itachi and Sasuke.

As they moved through the quiet night, Naruto turned to Shisui. "Take Fugaku and Mikoto to the Uchiha refuge. You need to leave before the Third Hokage and Danzo seal off Konoha. I already had a shadow clone pick up Mikoto, so she's safe with me. Your job now is to help the clan grow in the shadows. When the time is right, I'll make sure the Uchiha are fully reintegrated into Konoha."

Shisui hesitated, then nodded. "I hope that day comes soon."

"It will," Naruto replied firmly, staring into the dark sky. "Konoha is about to experience a rebirth."

Elsewhere – Konoha ANBU Headquarters

Kakashi and the other ANBU had received a high-priority alert the moment Madara stormed the Uchiha compound.

However, no clear orders had been given. By the time Naruto and his group had left, both the Third Hokage and Danzo had arrived at the headquarters.

Danzo was the first to issue a command. "My unit will move to the Konoha Police Force headquarters."

The Third Hokage followed immediately. "My team will secure the Uchiha compound."

With that, the ANBU dispersed in an instant.

Upon reaching the Uchiha district, they were greeted by a gruesome sight—bodies littered the streets, blood soaking the ground like ink spilled across a canvas.

"What a massacre…"

"What the hell happened here?"

ANBU members exchanged hushed words, horror evident in their voices.

The Third Hokage's expression darkened. "Search for survivors immediately!" His sharp eyes flickered toward Sasuke, who lay unconscious on the roadside.

An ANBU operative knelt beside the boy, checking his vitals. "We have a survivor!"

"Send him to the medical division at once!" the Third ordered.

"Yes, sir!"

Kakashi, scanning the area, muttered grimly, "The others… they're all dead."

The Third Hokage squinted at Kakashi before turning to the gathered operatives. "Recover all the bodies. And I mean all of them! Search every house—don't leave a single corpse behind."

A nearsighted ANBU mumbled, "Whoever did this was ruthless."

Danzo, stepping forward, sneered. "It was Uchiha Itachi." His voice was steady, yet a hint of amusement lingered beneath the surface. "He despised his own people, murdered Shisui to steal his Mangekyō, and sparked tensions between the Uchiha and Konoha. In the end, it was his actions that led to this tragedy."

The Third Hokage shot him a cold look.

Kakashi frowned. "Itachi? That guy? There's no way…"

"Enough talk," the Third snapped. "Get to work!"

With that, the ANBU dispersed, carrying out their grim task.

Danzo took a slow step toward the Third Hokage, his tone smug. "Well, that settles everything."

The Third turned to him, his eyes colder than steel. "Settles everything? A dagger is now lodged in Konoha's throat. Do you truly not understand the gravity of this situation?"

Danzo smirked. "A mere thorn, nothing more."

"Hmph. You power-hungry fool," the Third muttered, exhaling sharply. "I can no longer overlook your dictatorial actions. As of now, I am stripping you of your title as Hokage's advisor."

Danzo stiffened. "What?! Hiruzen, you can't—"

"The Uchiha were Konoha's people too," the Third interjected. His voice left no room for argument. "And that's not all. I am dissolving Root. Soon, I will officially announce your punishment. Until then, you are under house arrest. You won't be leaving anytime soon."

With those final words, the Hokage strode away, leaving Danzo standing in silent fury.

Moments later, two Root operatives appeared beside him. One of them spoke in a hushed voice. "Lord Danzo, several bodies are missing. Some of the corpses have vanished."

Danzo's expression hardened. "What?" He was about to dismiss the report when a chilling voice interrupted him.

"I saw everything."

Itachi emerged from the shadows, his Mangekyō Sharingan gleaming beneath his ANBU mask. "And from now on, I will keep watching. If you lay a finger on Sasuke, I will expose every dirty secret Konoha has to its enemies."

The next second, his body dissolved into a murder of crows, dispersing into the night.

Danzo scowled, his one visible eye narrowing. "Damn it!"

Naruto's Apartment

Meanwhile, Naruto had returned to his small apartment in Konoha. He smirked as he stepped inside, his eyes falling upon the long, straight-haired beauty lying in his bed.

Uchiha Izumi, her flawless skin illuminated by the moonlight, was sprawled across the sheets, her curves barely concealed beneath the fabric.

She had dozed off crying from recent massacre, her lips slightly parted, her chest rising and falling with each soft breath.

Naruto chuckled. "Damn, what a view. Maybe I should come home late more often."

Slipping out of his sandals, he slid into bed beside her. The warmth of her body pressed against his, and he couldn't resist wrapping an arm around her waist.

He whispered, smirking against her neck. "Just go back to sleep. You've had a long day."

Naruto closed his eyes, feeling the stress of the day fade away. "And… Konoha's about to change. And I'm going to make damn sure it changes my way."

With that thought, he drifted into a deep, comfortable sleep.
