NARUTO: GOD LEVEL FORGING SYSTEM

Chapter 16: CHAPTER 16

On the contrary, the entire person exudes extreme seriousness, and his words carry absolute authority, making them deeply convincing.

Might Guy is the undisputed master of taijutsu, his prowess surpassing even that of his father, Might Duy, who developed the Eight Gates technique but never reached his son's level of mastery.

Due to his unwavering dedication and relentless training, he earned his place among Konoha's elite jōnin purely through physical combat ability—something exceedingly rare.

Having such a mentor guiding one's taijutsu training is undoubtedly a priceless fortune.

"Guy-sensei, what should I do next?"

Might Guy grinned, flashing his signature thumbs-up and a gleaming smile: "For now, ease up slightly on your high-intensity training and return to foundational drills.

"Over the next year, gradually increase your weighted training to 150 pounds. By the time you turn eight, raise it to 200 pounds.

"Once your foundation is solid, I'll teach you the Leaf Whirlwind technique."

"I understand, Guy-sensei." Kazuki nodded firmly.

For the past six months, he had focused intensely on taijutsu, but his weapon-forging practice had been neglected.

One key reason: the specialized ores he required had been completely depleted.

Without raw materials, even the most skilled blacksmith is powerless.

Fortunately, Kazuki's parents had sent word two days ago—

Their business trip to the Land of Iron was concluding, and they would soon return with a massive shipment of supplies!

In the Land of Fire, a middle-aged couple traveled with an entourage of dozens of attendants.

Behind them, an impressive caravan of fully loaded carriages stretched for hundreds of meters, each stacked with large, secured crates.

Even elite Konoha shinobi accompanied them as guards—after all, this was a shipment of immense value.

The cargo contained enough ninja tools to supply Konoha's forces for the next two years.

"Mr. Takeshi, we're nearing Konoha," a masked shinobi at the front of the convoy said. "We've entered a secure zone now; you can rest easy."

Hatake Kakashi, the renowned Copy Ninja, walked beside them, his single visible eye calm and observant.

Takeshi clasped his hands in gratitude, smiling warmly.

"Thank you, Lord Kakashi. If not for you, much of this shipment would have fallen into the hands of rogue ninja."

Kakashi waved dismissively, his tone neutral.

"It's my duty. You needn't thank me.

"This shipment is vital to Konoha's operations. Even the Hokage personally authorized this B-rank mission, which is why I'm assigned to escort it."

Takeshi nodded, his gaze shifting toward the distant gates of Konoha.

He hadn't been home in over half a year.

He wondered how his son, Kazuki, and daughter, Tenten, had fared in his absence.

Had the expensive chakra refinement scrolls he bought for them accelerated their chakra control?

By now, they had reached the age to enroll in the Ninja Academy.

Had they shown promise? Had they been accepted?

Would his family finally produce a true shinobi?

Then again, Takeshi sighed, shaking his head with a soft smile.

While he certainly had hopes for his children's futures, above all, he wished for their happiness and safety.

If they lacked the aptitude to become shinobi, so be it.

There was honor in being a weapons merchant. A peaceful life wasn't a bad life.

A wise parent considers the long term.

Takeshi glanced at the young yet formidable Kakashi beside him—Konoha's prodigy, the famed student of the Fourth Hokage.

If only he were willing to spend a little time instructing his own students...

Takeshi summoned his courage and said to Kakashi:

"Kakashi-sama, I have two children in my family who also dream of becoming great ninjas. If you have time, could you offer them some guidance?"

Kakashi glanced at him, his single visible eye as indifferent as ever.

"Sorry, Mr. Takeshi."

He refused with his usual detached tone, hands in his pockets, his slouched posture exuding an air of disinterest.

It was clear he had long grown accustomed to such requests.

"I'm usually very busy. Unless Lord Hokage assigns me a mission specifically involving training, I don't have time to instruct children below the rank of genin. I apologize."

His words were as sharp as a kunai, leaving no room for argument.

Without connections, it was impossible.

Takeshi sighed internally, silently mocking himself for his naive hope.

For children from ordinary families like theirs, receiving personal instruction from a jōnin was nothing more than a distant dream.

As the caravan's carriage finally entered the gates of Konohagakure, Kakashi parted ways with Takeshi and his wife, heading straight to the Hokage's office to report his mission.

Meanwhile, behind the door of the Kazuki household...

"Mom and Dad are back!"

At the sound of movement outside, a young girl leaped from her bed, her twin buns bouncing as she rushed forward excitedly.

A bright glimmer lit up Kazuki's eyes as well.

"Brother, now that we have new ore, can you forge me a Grass Cutter Sword?"

Kazuki chuckled, ruffling his younger sister's hair.

"We'll see—first, master all the kunai techniques from the Three Basic Jutsu."

Tenten pouted, crossing her arms.

"Hmph! I'll master them in no time! Besides, I'm designing a brand-new ninja tool right now. Just wait! When I finish it, you'll be the one envious of me!"

"Alright, alright. I'll be waiting."

With their parents back, the once-quiet Kazuki household filled with warmth and laughter again.

And with both Kazuki and Tenten officially enrolled in the Ninja Academy, their parents were overjoyed.

The earlier disappointment from Kakashi's rejection faded instantly, replaced by pride in their children's achievements.

To celebrate, Takeshi made a grand decision—

"Tonight, we feast! The most extravagant barbecue restaurant in Konoha—on me!"

The following days brought a rare sense of ease to the family.

With their parents taking charge of the store again, Kazuki and Tenten no longer needed to alternate shifts at the ninja shop.

Food, clothing, and daily necessities were no longer a concern.

Meanwhile, Kazuki's system had issued several new tasks over the past six months, but he had never found the time to complete them.

Now, however, with the fresh shipment of high-quality ore from the Land of Iron, he had all the materials he needed for forging.

It was time to get to work.

---

At the ninja shop…

Takeshi wiped the sweat from his brow as he finished organizing the shelves.

Kunai, shuriken, and a few newly designed ninja tools from the Iron Country were now neatly arranged and ready for sale.

"Huh? Boss Takeshi, you're back!"

A boisterous voice rang out.

Takeshi turned to see a green jumpsuit, bowl-cut hair, and the most enthusiastic smile in Konoha approaching the store.

"Oh, Lord Might Guy!"

He greeted warmly.

"We just got a fresh batch of ninja tools from the Land of Iron. Interested in taking a look?"

"Oh, no need! I rarely rely on ninja tools—my fists are my ultimate weapons! Hahaha!" Guy laughed heartily, rubbing the back of his head.

Then, his expression turned serious.

"Actually, I came looking for Kazuki. I didn't expect him to be out today."

Takeshi blinked in surprise.

"Kazuki? He's at the Ninja Academy. Wait—Lord Guy, you know my son?"

Guy gave him a proud thumbs-up, his teeth gleaming.

"Of course! Kazuki is my most promising student!"

Takeshi froze.

His jaw nearly hit the floor.

"What… what?! My son… your apprentice?!"

His son hadn't even graduated from the academy yet.

How did he end up with one of Konoha's elite jōnin as a mentor?!
