Naruto: Dual-Pupil Uchiha

"Doctor, how is the patient?" 

Genya asked, replacing the anxious Senju Hikari, who was watching the doctors busy inserting tubes into Senju Hayashi.

While asking, Genya also used his Dual Pupil to observe Hayashi's injuries. His body was covered in wounds, with signs of fractures from head to toe. It seemed that during his time with the Police Force, Hayashi had endured severe and inhumane torture.

Fortunately, there was a faint green light emanating from the gaps in his broken bones, suggesting that his injuries would soon heal.

The doctor spoke up: "The injuries are severe. He has multiple fractures all over his body, resulting from a beating. It will take at least a few months to recover. Additionally, his head has also been struck hard, and he remains unconscious. If he doesn't wake up within three days, I'm afraid…"

The doctor didn't finish the sentence, but everyone understood the implication.

Senju Hikari lay on the bed, her body trembling continuously, clearly realizing that her brother might be in danger.

Genya looked at Hayashi's injured head. There was a bruise on his forehead, but the faint green light seemed to be enveloping and healing the bruise.

"It's going to be alright. Your brother should wake up soon," Genya whispered, offering comfort. He spoke truthfully, as the siblings' unique physical condition meant that their injuries were likely to heal.

"Is it really going to be okay?" Hikari cried.

Genya reassured her, nodding firmly, "Yes, it will be alright. He will be fine!"

The doctor remained silent. If his mentor were here, the situation might have been different. However, his mentor was away on a medical mission, and unfortunately, this young man's chances of waking up were only about twenty percent.

If not treated promptly, this young man might lose his chance of survival.

It was a pity for this young fellow; his fate was unfortunate.

"Hmph, the Sarutobi clan is too ruthless. I don't understand how this kid could have offended Sarutobi Eisuke to be beaten so badly!" Uchiha Shin sneered. 

He had interacted with Hayashi before and knew he was a straightforward kid. It was hard to believe he had angered Sarutobi Eisuke this much.

And yet, he had been subjected to such brutal beating.

"Can we file a complaint against him?" Genya asked Uchiha Shin. After all, it was their complaints that had led to the Uchiha clan giving up half of the Police Force in the first place.

Uchiha Shin shook his head. "It's useless. When I arrived, I already questioned Sarutobi Eisuke. They charged Senju Hayashi with assaulting the Police Force members, and he was also accused of trying to attack the head of the Police Force division. That's a serious crime!"

"Even if Senju Hayashi is dead, there's no way to seek justice!"

Attacking Sarutobi Eisuke in the Police Force division? How could they come up with such an excuse?

It was as if they considered the Police Force division their own personal domain. Everyone knew Sarutobi Eisuke was wrongfully accusing Senju Hayashi, but even if they complained to the Hokage's office, the Hokage wouldn't speak up for them. Sarutobi Hiruzen would side with Sarutobi Eisuke.

Uchiha Shin left, having calmed down Senju Hikari. He had just joined the business association and had many things to deal with, so he couldn't stay in the medical room.

"Mother, you should go home too. I can take care of Senju's siblings here," Genya said, indicating that his mother could leave and he would handle the situation with the Senju siblings.

Moreover, Senju Hikari's emotions were still unstable, and it wasn't appropriate to have too many people in the ward.

Senju Yumi realized she shouldn't stay and arranged for two Police Forces to watch outside the door before leaving.

Once everyone was gone, Senju Hikari carefully climbed down from the bed and looked at her injured brother, tears streaming down her face.

Genya stood by and said nothing.

When her tears ran dry, Genya spoke, "Crying like this won't wake your brother. Do you want to make sure that no one can hurt him in the future, or even one day, to crush those who bully you?"

Seeing the girl, who had grown despondent about the world, Genya decided to give her a boost of encouragement.

"Huh? No one can hurt us?" The girl wiped her tears and looked at Genya, who was younger than her, unsure if she should believe this. She was just a minor civilian; it seemed impossible to crush her enemies. 

She had always been told that as a civilian, she had to endure, follow the rules of Konoha, and avoid the ninja clans' members.

"Of course it's possible!" Genya said seriously. "Times change. If you work hard, there will come a day when no one dares to bully you."

"So what should I do? I want to protect my brother," the girl said, blinking and showing determination on her delicate face. She wanted to become strong so no one could bully her and her brother. She wanted to protect her brother and Genya!

Thinking about her brother being hurt to protect her made her young face resolute.

"Train with me. If you become strong enough, you can change the entire system," Genya said earnestly. Senju Hikari and her brother likely had special abilities, and training was the only way forward.

"Train? But I've never trained before and don't know how!" Senju Hikari hesitated, still unsure.

"I can teach you how to refine chakra!" Genya said to the little girl with a serious expression. "If you agree, I can also teach you ninjutsu!"

Senju Hikari lowered her head, seemingly deep in thought. 

Her small hands fidgeted with the edge of her hospital gown, her face full of hesitation.

After a long while!

She looked at her brother, whose body was wrapped in bandages, and finally nodded seriously. "I want to learn ninjutsu. I want to become a ninja. I don't want to be a civilian anymore!"

"Alright!"

From then on, the two began training. Genya had the little girl sit cross-legged on the hospital bed and taught her how to refine chakra.

Hikari learned diligently.

She had a great talent for it.

After three hours, Hikari mastered the technique of refining chakra.

Moreover, with the help of his Dual Pupil, Genya could see a continuous flow of chakra pouring into her body. At that moment, Hikari's body seemed like a long-starved vessel, desperately craving the chakra.

What surprised Genya even more was that the green light at Hikari's broken ribs was visibly healing her fractured bones at a noticeable speed.

"This… This is chakra? It's so amazing," Hikari said, feeling the overwhelming influx of chakra in her body, sensing an endless supply of power.

The training continued as days went by.

Three days passed in the blink of an eye.

There were no major events at the hospital, but Senju Hayashi, who had been in a deep sleep for three days, finally woke up.

From then on, Genya's training team had one more member.

While everything was calm on Genya's side, the Uchiha Police Force was in chaos.

"Clan Head, there's trouble in the northern district. Send someone over quickly!"

"There's a request for help from the southern district!"

"There's been another assault in the southern district, and the suspect has escaped. We need reinforcements!"
