Chapter 7: chapter 7
"Hey! Watch out!"
Namikaze Minato yelled, but it was clearly too late.
Uchiha's signature fire escape ninjutsu, at such a close range, was undeniably impossible to evade. Many were caught off guard and realized too late that a fireball was launched from Uchiha Lie's mouth, but compared to Uchiha Itachi or Uchiha Sasuke that Ming had encountered in the original story, it was clearly inferior.
"Don't know what's good for you!"
Ming seized the desk, grabbed something, and tossed it forward. Namikaze Minato was one of the few who caught a glimpse of Ming's action, yet he still couldn't make out what Ming had thrown.
When he turned around, he noticed that the object Ming had hurled shattered the forming fireball, striking the blackboard behind him and leaving a blood mark on Uchiha Retsu's face.
Everyone was taken aback. Although the details were murky, it was evident that Ming had utilized something to disrupt the fireball.
Turning back, curiosity filled the room as everyone wondered what Ming had employed this time.
Minato Namikaze scrutinized it closely. Despite being almost scorched by the wind chakra and the fireball, he could still vaguely identify what it was.
A pencil!
No way, even though it was merely an unformed fireball, Uchiha Retsu was among the few elites in the class who had reached the Genin tier. How could his technique be thwarted so easily?
Swoosh!
At that moment, a shadow suddenly emerged, and a man donning a white fox mask appeared in the classroom.
Anbu!
"You two will face consequences for fighting in school. Cease this immediately."
The Anbu is a direct subordinate unit of Sarutobi Hiruzen. Even Uchiha would not dare to show disrespect. Uchiha Retsu touched his bleeding cheek. It was just a superficial wound, nothing serious.
After glaring menacingly at Ming, he turned and left with another individual.
"Tsk!"
Ming flipped them the bird as they walked away. At that point, the Anbu ninja added, "What transpired today will be reported to the Hokage without fail. Be cautious!"
With that, he vanished using the Body Flicker Technique.
"Huh… I thought I was going to die."
Uzumaki Narei sighed heavily.
"Ming, you acted too rashly just now. Regardless of the situation, you shouldn't have retaliated." The tempers of the two were also well-known in this class. In Namikaze Minato's eyes, Ming would struggle in the future.
"What? Should I behave like a pushover like you?" Kushina shouted, irritated.
Namikaze Minato couldn't fathom why this girl held such disdain for him, and could only smile wryly, "I'm simply stating the truth…"
"Don't worry, they initiated it first; we'll be fine, let's head back."
We are candidates for Jinchūriki. Although Ming and the other four, including Kushina, were unaware that their standing was far superior to that of a kid picked at random by Uchiha.
Not to mention, this incident wasn't particularly grave; even if it did reach Sarutobi Hiruzen, Ming was confident he wouldn't dare to take action against him.
Let's not forget, Uzumaki Mito is still alive!
"Let's go, it's time for a meal."
Ming declared, pulling Kushina along. The other three in the Uzumaki clan exchanged glances, sighed, and dispersed.
Meanwhile, Namikaze Minato walked over to the pencil lodged in the blackboard, now unrecognizable, and sighed softly. He had thought he was the leader of this generation, but he hadn't anticipated such a prodigy appearing today.
In the following days, it became evident that nothing serious had occurred. After that incident, Chiba Hezang, the class teacher, merely issued a verbal warning, and essentially nothing else transpired.
As for Ming and Uchiha Lie, their rivalry gradually intensified, but he held no fear of these two young troublemakers.
Uchiha? You are not the main character and even bearing the Uchiha name, you are merely a supporting player.
Two weeks later, on the weekend, Ming repeatedly practiced the sickle dance learned from Uchiha Tajima at the training ground. When he paused to rest, drenched in sweat, he suddenly heard the voice of the system: "A new customer has arrived, and the host can take a look."
"Customer…?"
Ming smirked slightly, referring to the deceased like Uchiha Tajima, who were trapped in the space as "customers," but in Ming's view, "food" or "prey" seemed more fitting.
Settling under a large tree and entering the fraud space, Ming felt no fear of an attack. Should danger arise, he would be alerted immediately.
Upon entering the space, another door appeared beside the office door originally labeled "Uchiha Tajima."
When Ming stepped inside and glanced around, he was instantly astonished because the name inscribed on it did not belong to the Naruto realm: Portgas D. Ace, the wielder of the Flame-Flame Fruit, Fire Fist Ace!
