A torrent of paper shot forth, transforming into a deadly storm of senbon needles, seemingly ignoring Shinnō's safety as it rained down indiscriminately.

Countless paper needles, interspersed with a staggering number of explosive tags, erupted from her paper wings, instantly suppressing the Sunagakure Shinobi guards below, their cries of agony echoing across the landscape.

Shinnō—sprang into action, knocking aside several Suna Genin who stood in his way before charging directly at Gojo Kaigetsu, launching a deadly assault.

Shinnō's speed was impressive, but it wasn't enough to outpace the ever-vigilant Might Guy.

Might Guy knew this wasn't some training exercise in the Academy. There was no referee here to call out "3, 2, 1, begin!"

This was a battle to the death—Either the advisor die, or their enemies did.

As a fellow Taijutsu user, Guy could sense that this muscle-bound opponent was strong—someone he needed to go all-out against, to burn his Youth to its fullest!

"Eight Gates Release! Sixth Gate: Gate of Joy, Open!"

Without hesitation, Might Guy instantly opened six gates, his chakra skyrocketing as his aura surged. Green steam erupted from his body.

In Might Guy's perception, Shinnō charged towards him like an unstoppable mountain.

Faced with such an adversary, Guy didn't show a hint of fear. Instead, he was thrilled as he struck a pose, ready to meet Shinnō head-on.

Uchiha Shisui wasn't about to stand idly by. He took a deep breath and rapidly formed hand seals.

"Shadow Clone Jutsu!"

Shisui opted to create a shadow clone first, and then, in conjunction with his clone, unleashed a fire jutsu to support Guy's attack.

"Fire Release: Great Fireball Jutsu!"

"Fire Release: Dragon Flame Release Song Technique!"

Both Shisui and his clone used Fire Release jutsu, sealing off Shinnō's possible escape routes.

The enemy was powerful, but Shisui was confident that through the bonds of friendship, they could prevail.

The force of the impact sent both their knuckles cracking, the sound of bone fracturing clear and sharp.

Guy grunted, enduring the pain, and rapidly threw a barrage of punches. "Morning Peacock!"

Extremely fast taijutsu strikes created friction with the air, igniting into flames. The shockwaves and the fiery aura bloomed in the air like a peacock's tail, striking Shinnō without mercy.

Combined with Shisui's Dragon Flame and Great Fireball, the sealed palace was filled with thick, black smoke.

"Will that work?"

Might Guy backed away, his eyes wide like saucers, staring intently at the center of the smoke.

"Eight Gates Release! Seventh Gate: Gate of Wonder, Open!"

"WATCH OUT!!!"

Shisui's three-tomoe Sharingan spun rapidly.

He barely had time to warn Guy!!

Before the smoke cleared, Shinnō burst out like a demon, moving at a speed imperceptible to the naked eye, slamming into the on-guard Guy and sending him crashing into a distant wall.

"Guy-san!" Shisui shouted anxiously, seeing the situation was dire. "Flicker Style!"

Shisui formed hand seals, moving so fast that he seemed to create multiple afterimages of himself.

The afterimages and Shisui's real body all wielded kunai, charging towards Shinnō.

"Hmph—Pointless struggle!" Shinnō didn't even try to dodge, taking a punch from each afterimage.

To his surprise, when he struck back, the afterimages didn't dissipate into smoke like shadow clones.

'Is this genjutsu?!'

In a moment of carelessness, Shisui's razor-sharp kunai pierced Shinnō's heart.

To ensure he was dead, Shisui viciously twisted the kunai a full 180 degrees. But…

So, Gojo Kaigetsu decided to keep Might Guy around, to protect him.

Gojo Kaigetsu thought about it. The Eight Gates was really strong, but the side effects were too great.

"Hmm, I need to think of a way to solve the drawbacks of the Eight Gates…"

"Forget it, I'll talk to Tsunade about it later. She's a medical ninja. She should know."

Gojo Kaigetsu shook his head.

He had more pressing matters to deal with.

The Ryūmyaku was within reach.

He could sense it. This power was neither from the God Tree nor was it Natural Energy.

Everything around them was instantly swallowed by the light.

A gentle breeze blew, as if nothing had happened.

Only the Ryūmyaku's opening, now devoid of any chakra fluctuations, remained, like sand flowing into the desert.

In that moment, Baki felt like his heart had been shattered.
