Chapter 12 - Mastering the Transformation Technique

Seiji sat at his desk, staring at the scroll before him. The words were engraved in his memory, and he already knew the basics of the transformation technique. Now, it was time to put his knowledge into practice. He closed his eyes, trying to sense the amount of chakra needed to take the first step. It's not complicated, he thought to himself. I've seen this jutsu used before. I just need to concentrate.

"Let's start simple," Seiji muttered, closing his eyes and focusing on what he wanted to achieve. He pictured his father, Hayto, in his mind—a confident, steady figure with the posture he so respected. "Henge no Jutsu!" he said softly.

Instantly, his body began to change. His height increased, his facial features became more pronounced, and his posture straightened. When he opened his eyes, his reflection in the mirror made him smile. He looked just like Hayto, and what was even more impressive was that his clothes had also automatically changed to imitate his father's.

"Interesting..." Seiji thought, touching the clothes. "The transformation isn't just about the body. The clothes change too. This makes it much easier."

Seiji stepped forward and went to the mirror, observing himself. His reflection intrigued him. He had grown a few inches and his appearance was much more mature, but... something was wrong. He felt heavier than he should have. The sensation of his feet on the ground was different, but his body felt... the same.

"Strange...", he thought. I've completely transformed into my father, but... the weight hasn't changed. He focused on his own physical sensation. His body, now larger, didn't seem to have the resistance that Hayto had. He knew his father was stronger, more robust, but the transformation hadn't changed his weight, only his appearance.

"I think this part of the technique is something I need to understand better... I can't just increase my size and expect my weight to follow suit. That's something to watch out for." Seiji pondered the experience. I transformed, but my weight remained the same. Maybe the technique only changes shape, but not mass... Interesting.

As he stared at his reflection, Seiji paused to think. If clothes changed along with the body... That meant the transformation could involve objects as well. He still wasn't sure how that worked, but the connection seemed logical.

He concentrated a little longer, trying to understand what he had just realized. If I can transform my body completely, maybe I can transform things too, he thought. Like objects...

Seiji stepped away from the mirror and looked around his room. The stone on the table caught his eye. "Let's see if it works on something other than me," he said, taking the stone in his hands and beginning to channel chakra.

The stone began to tremble slightly. Seiji was forcing the transformation, trying to imagine the shape he wanted to give it. But he soon realized that the process was more complicated than simply transforming. The stone did not transform as quickly as his body.

"Oh, sure... The transformation of objects is not as immediate as that of living beings," he thought. He concentrated more chakra, forcing the stone to take on a shape. Little by little, the stone began to mold itself, taking the form of an improvised sword. However, it was far from perfect.

"It's not that simple. The transformation requires more chakra... and it is necessary to maintain a constant amount to prevent the transformation from breaking," Seiji thought. He felt that the blade, although formed, was still fragile. When he touched it, it did not feel completely solid.

"Interesting," he said to himself. "Transforming objects requires more concentration. And the resistance... is not the same as a real sword."

Seiji was still not completely satisfied. He needed to understand more about the transformation of objects and, mainly, how he could transform along with them.

"What if I transform along with the object?" he thought. The idea intrigued him. He imagined what it would be like if he fused with the transformed object and used it as an extension of his own body. So he tried once more, this time focusing on the idea of merging with the sword he had created.

Seiji channeled chakra again, and this time he not only tried to transform the object, but transformed along with it. His shape adapted to the blade, and he felt as if the weight of the sword was now part of him. With the added weight, his muscles seemed to be challenged in a different way.

"This is much more interesting... and more challenging." He noticed that the weight of the sword was now added to his own body, and as he concentrated more, he felt that this could be used as a form of constant strength training. "I can use this to train in a more controlled way, adapting the weight of the sword to the shape of the sword.

and consistent manner."

Testing Another Theory: Body Part Transformation

Seiji knew there was still more to explore. He didn't want to stop there. He began testing another theory: transforming only body parts. This seemed to be more difficult, since the human body was not so easily molded to more extreme changes.

He visualized his left arm, imagining it transforming into a sharp blade. "Henge no Jutsu," he muttered again, concentrating chakra in the region of his arm. His arm began to lengthen and change, becoming more rigid and sharp, resembling the blade of a sword.

But as he moved his transformed arm, Seiji realized that control was much more difficult. He felt a constant pressure to keep the transformation stable. "This is harder than it looks," he thought, trying to keep the blade of his arm steady. "If I relax my concentration, the transformation will fall apart."

He swung his transformed arm, feeling the resistance. It wasn't as solid as he had imagined, and the blade felt flexible, as if it were made of a substance more malleable than iron.

"I really need more control for this. Transforming body parts is more complex because… the body is naturally shaped to transform into something human," Seiji mused, looking at his arm. He realized that if the transformation was done with a very specific goal in mind, it might not be as effective.

As he pondered the use of objects and body parts in transformation, Seiji made one last important observation. When transforming his body along with an object, he noticed that the weight of the object added to his own weight, creating a feeling of additional burden. But when he tried to transform the stone into a sword, he realized that the weight of the transformation was related to the original weight of the object.

"The sword became light. It has the weight of the stone it came from... but it doesn't have the strength or balance of a real sword," Seiji thought. This meant that for objects like stones, the transformation resulted in something less dense and more fragile. But as he transformed along with the object, he felt the extra weight as if it were a constant exercise in resistance.

"This aspect of the transformation can be useful for training, but it also limits the effectiveness of the objects. It's something I'll need to consider when I want to use the transformation more strategically." Seiji stepped back and sat back down in his chair, exhausted. He had mastered the basic transformation technique, but now he had a clearer idea of its limitations and challenges. Transforming objects and body parts was no easy task. It required constant concentration of chakra, and the strength of the transformed objects or limbs would not be comparable to their natural forms. This is a good start, Seiji thought. Now, I need to focus more on controlling chakra, especially for objects and body parts. He wrote down the results of his experiments on his clipboard: Simple Transformation: Works well, and the clothes also transform. There are no obvious flaws. Object Transformation: More difficult and requires constant concentration. The strength of the transformed objects is lower than that of real objects. The sword became light due to the weight of the stone. Body Part Transformation: Difficult to maintain, especially since the body is naturally shaped to transform into something human. Chakra control needs to be refined.

Transforming Along with Objects: Transforming objects can be accompanied by transforming the body. This is useful for constant weight and resistance training.

Seiji leaned back in his chair, smiling. There's a lot to explore here. But for now, I can rest a bit and think about what I'm going to do next.
