A/N2 is a short chapter but I'll try to post another chapter today
Chapter 10 First Day at the Ninja Academy
The day started differently for Seiji. As soon as he opened his eyes, he felt excitement run through his body. Finally, his first day at the Ninja Academy. Even trying to maintain an indifferent posture, he couldn't deny the excitement that vibrated inside him. 'What kind of classes will we have? What will the teachers be like? I hope it won't be just boring theory...'
In the kitchen, his mother had already prepared breakfast. Rice, miso soup and some grilled fish. He ate quickly, eager to leave the house. During the meal, his mind wandered with random thoughts. 'Will they divide the class by skills? Or will everyone just be together? I wonder who will be there? Maybe Minato, maybe Fugaku… or maybe I'm in a completely different time than I imagine.'
After finishing his meal, he grabbed his bag and left the house. The path to the Academy seemed more vibrant than ever. The streets of Konoha were bustling with merchants opening their shops and ninjas preparing for missions. Seiji kept a steady pace, his eyes alert to the surroundings, but his mind was focused on what was to come. 'If I study properly, I can avoid some problems in the future. But does the Academy library have anything useful or is it just basic stuff?'
When he arrived at the Academy, he noticed that he wasn't the first to arrive. A girl with brown hair and distinct markings on her face was already there, sitting with a calm expression.
'Rin Nohara. So I'm in Kakashi and Obito's generation.'
He leaned back in his chair, watching as the students entered the room. First, a boy with white hair and a partial mask. 'Definitely Kakashi.' Then, a boy chewing on a toothpick. 'This could be Genma… or just some random kid who likes toothpicks.'
The room was starting to get more agitated until the door opened with a bang. A tall man with rigid features entered, imposing his presence immediately.
"Silence! Everyone, please take your seats." His voice was firm and authoritative, and the room immediately calmed down.
He stared at the class for a moment before continuing:
"I am the head instructor, Daichi. In this first year, we will focus on developing taijutsu, handling kunai and shuriken, basic chakra theory and the rudiments of ninja strategy." His voice was firm, conveying authority.
Another teacher, a woman with her hair tied in a bun and an analytical expression, added:
"My name is Midori. We will also have access to the Academy library, where you can study on your own. Take advantage of this resource, because knowledge is as important as strength in combat.
Before they could continue, the door suddenly opened, and a dark-haired boy wearing goggles rushed in, panting.
"T-t-thank you for waiting!" He tried to compose himself.
Professor Daichi crossed his arms and stared at him coldly.
"Your name?" he asked impatiently.
"Obito Uchiha..." the boy said, his head down.
"Sit down." Daichi ordered, and Obito hurried to take a seat in the room.
Seiji didn't need anything else to confirm his suspicions. He was, in fact, at the time of the Third Shinobi World War.
"Now, each of you will introduce yourselves. Name and objective. Begin." Daichi ordered.
The introductions began, and Seiji watched his classmates closely. Some familiar figures stood out, such as Asuma Sarutobi and Kurenai Yuhi. With each name, he absorbed information, preparing himself for what was to come.
The first day of school came to an end, but for Seiji, everything was still just beginning.
