"The sage is waiting for you behind the doors," the snake woman named Tagitsuhime said after leaving Kakoto to a room where the white snake sage resides.

Kakoto nodded and pushed open the door to meet the sage.

He saw a giant white snake sitting upon a sacred seat, its massive body wrapped in thick coils adorned with yellow circular bands.

The seat was located at the top of a long, wide staircase, resembling a king's throne from the fairytale books Kakoto had read while he was young.

"Are you the sage that I am looking for? The sage who grants power to those who seek it." Kakoto asked.

She looked at him without saying anything.

"Allow me to introduce myself. I am Uchiha Kakoto. I am here for the sage's power." Kakoto introduced himself to the sage.

"Very well," the sage replied.

"But your current body cannot contain the power I will bestow. Do you still wish to proceed?" She asked Kakoto.

"If you fail to control the power you will be transformed into a snake. That will be eaten by me for failing to maintain my power." She added.

"I don't care what happens to my body. I want the power," Kakoto affirmed.

That is the only way I can see myself surviving. The man with the scar on his chin seemed to be after the Sharingan. And Itachi might have some sort of reason why he betrayed the clan. If I am weak sooner or later I will get killed by either of the two. Kakoto thought in his mind.

"Then come closer," the sage instructed.

Kakoto walked towards her preparing for the worst.

All three of the snake ladies that tested him to whether or not he is able to meet the sage have tried to eat him.

So in his mind, it would not be strange for the snake sage to eat him while he was off guard.

And the fact that no one lived to tell the tale of their experience in the Ryuchi cave didn't help.

She opened her mouth, revealing a long tongue that had a small head that resembled an old woman with sharp fangs attached to it.

By using the small head She bit Kakoto on the right side of his neck, leaving a small mark.

"Ahhhh," Kakoto cried out, falling to his knees as strange energy flowed into his body through the bite mark.

"I see and hear everything within the Ryuchi cave. From what I have seen from you While I foresee you handling the sage's power in a few years, your current self cannot manage nature energy without being overwhelmed." the snake sage said to Kakoto who looked like he was struggling to handle the new power that he just received.

Kakoto's eyes turned yellow, his eyes changed to the one of a snake possessed, his skin lost its whitish-yellow colour and transformed into pale white skin, and snake scales appeared on his body.

He wondered why his body was transforming. Was he unworthy?

"No, I must make this power mine, it's either this or death" Kakoto convinced himself, activating both of his Mangekyo Sharingan.

Both of his eyes which resembled that of a snake transformed into red eyes that were stable of a Uchiha clan member after he activated his Sharingan.

Using his left eye, he quickly understood what was happening. It was because tons of nature energy that he could not handle was entering his body, causing snake-like transformations to some of his body paths.

To neutralize the nature energy, he needed to blend it with his chakra to water down the effects.

"I hope this works. Otherwise, I am dead," Kakoto said, using his right eye's power to control the chakra in his body.

His right eye possesses the power to control the chakra down to the atomic level.

So he is able to use his right Mangekyo Sharingan ability to control the chakra that is inside his body to combine the chakra and the nature energy.

Although there was more nature energy than the chakra inside his body, he was able to balance them without releasing any excess natural energy.

He was able to accomplish it because not only did his right eye allow him to control the chakra but also allowed him to convert the excess nature energy into chakra that he was able to use to mix with even more nature energy.

He was nervous as he had never used his right eye to control the chakra that was inside his body.

But he immediately found out that he had nothing to worry about.

The chakra control that he was able to use with his right Mangekyo Sharingan was flawless when it came to performance.

And it has amazing synergy with his left eye.

His left eye gives him information and knowledge about the chakra and nature energy that he needs to increase or decrease to combine the two while his right eye allows him to put them together without any difficulty.

It seems like it was an ability that existed specifically for this kind of situation that he was in.

He even wonders if the only reason why the chakra ball exploded when he first used it was because he was too rash and was not properly using both of his eyes at the same time.

The snake skin that appeared on his skin started to fade out before

disappearing completely.

His white skin didn't return back to normal.

Purple irides started to appear around his eyes.

Not only that his eyes displaying red Mangekyo Sharingans regained the yellow colors that resembled the one that a snake possesses after purple irides appeared on his face.

The eye only changed in colour and didn't lose the shape that it possessed when it was still a Magekyou Sharingan.

This shows that he still hasn't lost his Mangekyou powers after gaining the power of the sage.

"So this is the power of the sage," Kakoto said as he realized that he had successfully been able to obtain the power of the sage.

It was an amazing feeling that he had never experienced before.

He can hear better, see better, and his body feels very refreshed.

He feels like he is unbeatable as long as he can use the power of the sage that he received.

Not everyone is made the same.

Some are born talented while some are born as losers.

Some are born with a golden spoon while some are born without any parents to take care of them.

Some are born with a power that was not supposed to exist, as the existence of the power breaks the balance of the world.

Kakoto's right eye, the eye of Odin is one such power.

The power of the eye is that it gives the user the ability to control the chakra down to the smallest atomic-size particles.

The ability allows the user to control the chakra that is inside the user's body, the chakra that is in the air, and the chakra that the user can interact with.

The ability to control the chakra has some limitations as the user cannot control the chakra that is inside other people's bodies.

And this ability only allows the user to control the chakra as the user does not gain the ability to absorb it.

This means the user cannot absorb the chakra of his enemies or those that are around his surroundings.

However, the eye also possesses a secondary ability to fully utilize its first ability to control the chakra.

Which is the ability to transform different types of energies that are inside his body into chakra.

And transform the chakra that is inside his body back into different types of energies that he can utilize.

For example, the user can control nature energy that is inside his body and transform it into chakra.

And then transform the chakra that is inside his body back into nature energy.

Meaning if the user was able to activate his right Mangekyo Sharingan permanently he could essentially use sage mode permanently.

The energy that the user is able to transform into chakra is not limited to nature energy.

However, even though the eye of Odin possesses god-like power it still is a Mangekyo Sharingan ability.

Meaning it still cannot be spammed and cannot be activated all the time.

Blood started to drip down from Kakoto's right eye as he overused his Sharingan.

"I have to be truthful. I didn't expect you to be able to become a perfect snake sage." The white snake sage said to Kakoto.

"Does this mean I can leave this place?" Kakoto asked as he deactivated his Sharingan and wiped the blood that was on his face with his shirt.

"You are free to leave the cave as you have already obtained the power of the sage."

"However, I advise you to stay here for a few years and train until you can

master the ability that you obtained. After all, using the power of the snake sage carelessly can cause the secrets of the Ryujin cave to leak out. And it will also endanger your life." The snake sage said to Kakoto.

"Then are you going to train me?" Kakoto asked the snake sage.

"No." The snake sage answered.

"Then does this place have the master who can help me achieve my full potential?" Kakoto asked.

"Also no. The best person who would be able to unlock your full potential as a sage is not in this cave. And he is also not a sage either." The white snake sage said.

"A man who knows about the power of the sage despite not being one himself? Who is it?" Kakoto asked.

"Orochimaru. But with his personality, you would not be able to learn from him no matter what." The snake sage said.

"Other than him this cave is the only place where you can find a master to help you master the snake sage powers." The white snake said.

Kakoto wanted to reject the white snake sage's offer as he wanted to get out of this place as fast as possible.

He knew he needed to go back to Leaf Village to kill the man with the x scar on his chin but he accepted the white snake sage's offer as it might be currently the best choice for him.

Revenge can wait. He has to get stronger first.

After all, failing to avenge his family as the one who kills them lives his life happily is not the future that he wants to have.

There is a possibility that Itachi and the man with the scar would have a lot of hidden tricks in their sleeves.

He doesn't know where Itachi currently is and he doesn't even know the name of the man with the scar on his chin.

When he thinks about it, his decision to go back to the village to kill the man with the scar immediately after obtaining sage mode is pretty stupid and reckless.

He was walking into the home field of the man that he wanted to kill.

He realized that he not only needed to learn how to use his powers but also needed to learn knowledge and try to gain information about the world.

After all no matter how one tries to stay away from society one must have at least some knowledge about the world, right?

At least more than a six-year-old child like him.

He doesn't think he would be able to get information out of the sage.

However, the snakes that live in this cave might be different.

At that time. In a laboratory that is not very far away from Konoha.

"Orochimaru." The man with the scar on his chin said as he looked at a man with pale white skin who was dissecting a human corpse.

"Lord Danzo. I am not expecting you to come this early." Orochimaru said to Danzo.

"Since you are here means that you have all the necessary items to go through the surgery." Orochimaru continued.

"Remember our deal. If you can successfully pull out this surgery without endangering my life I will try to find a way for you to get the corpse of my former master and his brother." Danzo said.

"Don't worry lord Danzo. I am not the type of person who goes back on my words. Especially if the offer that you put up is this good." Orochimaru said.

His face was not very convincing when he said those words but Danzo didn't care much.

After all Orochimaru is the only one in the world who can pull off the surgery that Danzo wanted.
