The Final Test of Time

The light spreading across the surface of the Time Mirror was so intense that Arahan and Vaidika were forced to close their eyes. The air around them began to spin rapidly, and it felt as if they were being pulled by an invisible force.

Suddenly, as the light subsided, they found themselves standing in a huge stone chamber. This was no ordinary place. Strange inscriptions were carved on the walls, and in the center of the room was a tall platform on which three mysterious urns were placed.

Just then, the mysterious figure reappeared once again.

"Arahan, Vaidika, this is the final test of time. If you accept the responsibility of the Time Mirror, you must pass this test. If you fail, you will both be lost forever in the vortex of time."

The Test of Time: The Three Urns

The figure gestured towards the platform.

"Here are three urns - the Ancient Era, the Present, and the Future. One of you must open them in the correct order, but remember, opening them in the wrong order will unbalance time and you may be trapped forever in an unknown era."

Arahan and Vaidika looked at each other. This test was not going to be easy.

"We have to decide carefully," Vaidika said.

"Time is a flow," Arahan mused. "If we understand it, we can choose the right order."

The First Decision: Who Will Open the Urns?

"You open them, Arahan," Vaidika said. "You have the strongest connection with this mirror."

Arahan nodded slowly and stepped towards the platform. The three urns were glowing, but each one had a different energy.

* The Urn of the Ancient Era - Echoes of the past could be heard from it, as if stories of old times were trapped within.

* The Urn of the Present - This one seemed stable and balanced, as if connected to reality.

* The Urn of the Future - There was a slight stirring within it, as if unknown possibilities were hidden inside.

Arahan took a deep breath.

"Time always flows from the past to the present and then to the future," he thought. "If we open the future first, it will break the flow of time."

The First Urn: The Ancient Era

Arahan gently opened the urn of the Ancient Era.

A soft light emerged and spread throughout the room. Suddenly, scenes from history began to appear around them - glimpses of ancient civilizations, writers of ancient texts, kings' battles, mysterious tales of temples.

And then, they could see Anirudh - the one who had first found the Time Mirror!

"It was Anirudh who first understood time," Vaidika said softly.

It was now clear that the Time Mirror was no ordinary object. It was a medium to understand the laws of time, but whoever tried to understand it completely became a part of time itself.

The Second Urn: The Present

Arahan gently opened the second urn.

Suddenly, they could see their present - the streets of Mumbai, their college, their old life. But one thing was different.

The Time Mirror did not exist in their world anymore!

"What is this?" Vaidika said in surprise.

The figure replied, "If you end your journey here, your life will become normal. But it means all your efforts will have been in vain."

The Third Urn: The Future

Now only the final test remained.

"If we open this urn, we will get a glimpse of the future," Arahan said.

As soon as he opened the urn of the Future, a bright light filled the entire chamber.

They could see - a modern city of the year 2110 AD. But there was something strange here.

* The city had completely changed - skyscrapers, flying vehicles, robotic technology were everywhere.

* But there were no humans here!

The Warning of the Future

"What kind of future is this?" Vaidika said in fear.

The figure replied in a serious tone, "This is a possible future - if the laws of time are tampered with, humans may cease to exist. If the Time Mirror is misused, this world can become a mechanical world where time will have no existence."

Arahan took a deep breath. "So we have to maintain this balance."

The Hour of Decision

All three urns had been opened. Now it was time to make a decision.

* Should they seal the Time Mirror forever so that it cannot be misused?

* Should they keep it with themselves but tell no one about it?

* Or should they bring it before the world and reveal the secrets of time?

Arahan and Vaidika looked at each other.

"If we hide it, it may fall into the wrong hands again," Vaidika said.

"But if we bring it before the world, someone may use it in the wrong way," Arahan replied.

Then, they made their final decision…

(To be continued in the next chapter… - The Fate of the Time Mirror!)

Arahan and Vaidika stood before a difficult decision. The Time Mirror was before them - the mirror of time, which connected history, present, and future. A wrong decision could be dangerous not only for them but for the entire world.

The figure was still there, as if waiting for a final answer.

"We cannot let it fall into anyone else's hands," Vaidika said in a firm voice.

"But hiding it forever will also not be right," Arahan replied. "What if it can be of use to someone in need in the future?"

The figure said with a slight smile, "Then you will have to find a way to keep it balanced."

The Ritual to Seal the Time Mirror

Arahan remembered what he had read on the copper plate - the only way to control the Time Mirror is to limit it through special energy.

"We will have to keep it in a place where only those who are worthy of it can find it," he said.

The figure nodded. "To do this, you will have to perform a ritual, but remember, once this ritual is complete, you both will never be able to use it again."

Vaidika and Arahan looked at each other.

"We are ready," they both said together.

The Ritual Process

The figure spread its hands, and a blue aura emerged around the Time Mirror.

"Now you will have to dedicate the energy of your soul to this mirror," the figure said. "This energy will seal it and it will only be able to open for those who truly understand the power of time."

Arahan and Vaidika placed their hands on the Time Mirror.

Slowly, they went through a strange experience - their memories, their feelings, and their thoughts began to merge into the Time Mirror. It felt as if they themselves were becoming a part of time.

The room filled with bright light, and then… there was an explosion!

The Time Mirror Vanished

When the smoke cleared, Arahan and Vaidika found themselves standing outside the cave.

The Time Mirror had disappeared.

There was peace all around. There was a slight moisture in the air, and inside the cave was now a mysterious rock on which a strange script was carved.

Arahan tried to read it.

"Only he can revive it who wants to understand the secrets of time without greed."

Vaidika breathed a sigh of relief. "We did it, Arahan. Now it is safe."

The End or a New Beginning?

Arahan looked at the cave one last time.

"Is it really over?" he wondered.

Vaidika smiled. "Time never ends, Arahan. It just starts a new chapter."

And with this, they both started descending the hills, with the realization that they had not only understood the mystery of time, but also fulfilled its responsibility.

(Next chapter: Did the Time Mirror really disappear forever, or will someone try to find it again…?)
