NOVEL NEXT Chapter 8: apologies
I must apologize to all of you. My household went through 2 rounds of covid. My daughter got it, then my son and his grandmother, then their mother. And after taking care of all of them I got it and immediately afterwards got a very bad toothache that took a week to get an appointment for.
I've received alot of comments about the OP MC. I might delete and restart, I might just keep on going...idk yet. Not down to a vote, but I just happened to agree that I gave too much to him. C/P and Adaptability are both wishes I would want but let's be honest, they don't make for anything but fast paced stories(and while they're easy to write, giving so much made it impossible to write it slower paced/longer chaptered).
Update on how HP was going to go since I am 85% sure I'm wiping and starting over.
Tom and Gellert were under long term (perma through Elder wand, which Dumbles owned all along until Peverell took it back) compulsion charms making them do what they did. Dumbles was the dark lord before Gellert that wasn't defeated, just disappeared 1 day. Gellert would have become the new headmaster while Tom became the DADA prof after confirming they were controlled to do everything they did, making the rest of HP just a simple skip scene since nothing but learning would have happened tbh. Harry would go on his own MV journey with his mates meeting MC every now and then for major fights like the battle of NY.
That was the quick and dirty of how HP was going to end.
Give me a week and I'll figure out what I'm going to do. Still not 100% but I'm feeling amazing compared to can't breath and kill me now due to tooth ache.
