My Weird Internship

Chapter 44: The Creators

The D'Lobby, usually alive with chatter and laughter, now fell into silence. A quietness that signaled their minds had drifted deep into the realm of imagination, crafting the foundations of a nation. The large screens around them bathed the room in soft light, waiting for the grand ideas to take shape and become reality. Mike glanced around, transfixed by the fervor radiating from each of his companions' faces.

From one end of the D'Lobby to the farthest corners of the room, every person now stood ready to lay the groundwork for the culture and society of Vanchett.

Ryu, who had remained silent until now, suddenly leaned back in his chair and stared straight ahead, his eyes gleaming with an unusual resolve. "What if this kingdom, like our people, was filled with a diversity of races? No natives, no dominant people—all races living together as one," his voice echoed across the room.

A faint smile tugged at Mike's lips, as if he had been waiting for someone to voice that very thought. "I like that idea," he murmured softly, yet loud enough for everyone to hear.

Alvin, who had been deep in thought, hand on his chin, suddenly straightened up, his eyes lighting up with excitement. "I've been designing something like that already," he said eagerly. "Imagine—up north, a race with green blood, while in the south, a race with blue blood. And… the king and noble families? They'll have yellow blood. Doesn't that sound epic?"

Zane, sitting with his legs crossed and a mischievous grin on his face, quickly chimed in, "Why not go further? In the east, a race with ram horns, and in the west, a race with fangs?" He chuckled softly, as if only he understood the joke. But despite his laughter, all eyes turned toward him, considering the seriousness of his suggestion.

Mike nodded in agreement. "Zoe, can we make that happen?" he asked, his tone filled with hope.

Zoe, the calm and authoritative voice of the system, responded immediately. "Yes, you can create the races that will inhabit your kingdom. However, note that these races will have attributes similar to humans. For instance, if you create a race with fangs, they will have both strengths and weaknesses to ensure balance among all races."

Zane interrupted without hesitation. "Great! Let's make them all!" he exclaimed, slapping his knee in excitement.

Erika, seemingly irritated by Zane's overenthusiasm, scoffed before glaring sharply at the floating screen. "Zoe, can you provide this explanation in the form of a report? I need more in-depth information," she said coldly, her voice steady.

Zoe replied with the same chill. "The report will be sent to your personal panel, Erika."

With a calmer tone, Mike took control of the conversation again, his voice brimming with growing excitement. "As for culture, I'm sure we're all people of great culture. Feel free to create, my friends! Craft something that will stir the souls of Vanchett's people!" A broad smile spread across his face, clearly immersed in the thrill of what they were creating together.

Everyone dove into their work, writing out the cultures that would span Vanchett, from east to west, north to south. They poured their energy into shaping every aspect of it. Erika could only shake her head as she reviewed the wild creations of her companions.

Mike raised his hand, signaling for silence. "You have all birthed incredible ideas. Let's end this discussion with a grand decision. We agree that Vanchett will be a kingdom built upon the foundation of diversity, where different races live side by side. A land rich in culture, created by beings as cultured as we are."

For a moment, no one spoke. They only gazed at each other, astonished by the wisdom in Mike's words, which seemed to grow deeper with each passing day.

Zoe, as calm and emotionless as ever, brought the session to a close. "Your data has been saved and integrated into the system. Congratulations, you have just created the culture and society of Vanchett."

Mike smiled, then looked at his friends one by one, warmth swelling in his chest.

"This phase is complete, my brothers and sisters. Vanchett has been born!!!" he declared triumphantly, raising his fist in the air. Everyone stood and clapped, celebrating the birth of something far greater than themselves. They had just brought to life a nation born from their wildest ideas. What kind of kingdom would it become?
