Chapter 7: Sign In! Get the World’s Top Hematology Hospital:
On the other side of town, a bald man and his group had gathered near Jiang Ye’s community. There were thirteen of them, pretending to be casually drinking nearby. They had already made plans: the moment they saw Jiang Ye, they would cause trouble. Thanks to a tip from their boss’s secretary, they knew exactly what Jiang Ye looked like.
Soon enough, Jiang Ye appeared, walking toward the community. He was in a good mood, unaware that a group of men was lying in wait for him. As he approached the entrance, the bald man stepped in his path.
Jiang Ye frowned slightly at the sight of the bald man, who reeked of alcohol. The community where Jiang Ye lived was an older neighborhood, where most of the residents knew each other. However, he had never seen this bald man before.
The bald man was sizing Jiang Ye up as well. Despite Jiang Ye’s height, the man could tell he was just a young college student, fresh out of school. “A kid like this?” he thought. “I could take him down without any help, let alone needing a dozen people.”
Jiang Ye tried to walk around the bald man, but just as he was about to pass, the man shoved him.
“Why are you staring at me?” The bald man snarled, his hand subtly reaching behind him. He had a wooden stick hidden, and if Jiang Ye dared to talk back, he planned to break his hand. This wasn’t the first time the man had done something like this. He’d always gotten away with it before because the local authorities weren’t strict, and he knew how to run fast when things got out of hand.
As soon as the bald man spoke, the rest of the group surrounded Jiang Ye.
At this moment, Jiang Ye understood the situation. These men weren’t just drunks—they were here to cause trouble. He quickly realized it must be related to the incident with Li Yan earlier that day.
Seeing that Jiang Ye remained silent, the bald man thought he had scared him. Feeling bolder, he reminisced about his past, letting the alcohol fuel his arrogance.
“You scared now, kid? I bet you’re shaking in your boots. All that height and for what? Just a coward.” He sneered, “Back when I was in school, I loved taking down guys like you. Tall and handsome, but just spineless wimps.”
The bald man puffed up with pride as he bragged to his companions, “I’ve beaten up plenty of kids like this. I remember one time, there was this guy with a girl. The girl was something else—pretty as hell. I was drunk and hit him over the head. His family spent a fortune getting him fixed up. As for the girl, well…” He trailed off, a sleazy grin on his face.
His companions exchanged knowing glances, clearly impressed. The bald man waved his hand dismissively and turned back to Jiang Ye. They had received orders to humiliate Jiang Ye as much as possible—maybe even make a video of it. Jiang Cheng, the one behind the attack, wanted to ruin Jiang Ye’s life.
“Get on your knees and apologize,” the bald man demanded, fiddling with the wooden stick in his hand. When Jiang Ye still didn’t respond, the man grew impatient and swung at him. “Are you deaf?!”
The slap was powerful—if it had connected, Jiang Ye would’ve easily lost a few teeth. But just as everyone expected him to take the hit, Jiang Ye moved. He swiftly dodged the slap and landed a brutal kick to the bald man’s groin.
A scream tore through the air as the bald man crumpled to the ground in agony.
Seizing the moment, Jiang Ye grabbed the wooden stick from the man’s hand. The rest of the group was momentarily stunned, but quickly snapped back to reality and charged at Jiang Ye. “He’s just one guy—what are we afraid of?” they thought.
But Jiang Ye didn’t back down. He stood firm, ready to fight.
10 minutes later, Jiang Ye stood victorious, calmly dusting off his hands. The men who had attacked him lay scattered across the ground, groaning in pain. As for the bald man, both of his legs were broken. Worse still, Jiang Ye had made sure he would never father children again.
By the time the police arrived, the bald man had already passed out from the pain. Jiang Ye remained calm as the officers questioned the witnesses and reviewed the surveillance footage. It was clear that Jiang Ye had acted in self-defense. If he hadn’t fought back, those men might have killed him. After a brief reprimand, the police let him go.
Back home, Jiang Ye locked the door behind him, his expression growing colder.
Before the bald man had passed out, Jiang Ye had forced the truth out of him: Jiang Cheng had sent them. Jiang Cheng had paid 5 million yuan to have one of Jiang Ye’s arms broken.
Jiang Ye’s eyes darkened with fury. If it hadn’t been for his newly acquired fighting skills, he might not have survived. The thought filled him with a murderous intent.
The next day.
Jiang Ye gathered some photos of his mother, grandmother, and other loved ones before leaving his old community and heading to Huateng Villa. According to his system, the villa was called Central Villa—one of the most luxurious and expensive properties in the entire Huateng estate.
Huateng Villa was located in the wealthiest area of the city, with the average villa costing around 50 million yuan. The three central villas, however, were priced at 80 million yuan each, and they were known as “The Kings.” Jiang Ye’s villa was one of the three.
When he woke up the next morning, Jiang Ye marveled at the luxury of his new home. The comfort was a hundred times better than his old house, though he still had a fondness for his previous home, where so many of his memories resided.
“Time for a new day,” Jiang Ye thought. “System, start the sign-in.”

Magic City Shanfang Private Hospital was the number one blood hospital in the world, particularly renowned for its research on leukemia. The hospital employed dozens of experts and professors, each a leader in the field of hematology. Its current market value was 10 billion yuan.
Jiang Ye stroked his chin, considering the information. A private hospital with a market value of 10 billion yuan… not bad.
…
Meanwhile, on the other side of town, Li Yan had managed to secure a meeting with the director of Magic City Shanfang Private Hospital. She had been working to transfer Jiang Cheng to the hospital for treatment, knowing it was the best in the world for hematology. That day, she and Jiang Tianhua visited the director’s home, bearing gifts.
“Thank you so much, Director Wang!” Li Yan exclaimed. “You’ve been such a huge help with the transfer!”
Director Wang smiled graciously. “It’s my pleasure, Mr. and Mrs. Jiang. Tomorrow, I’ll arrange for Jiang Cheng to be picked up and examined by our top specialists.”
Li Yan and Jiang Tianhua thanked him again and again.
