Chapter 43: The Alpha Titan
Shoya and Shoto made their way to the other side, a sense of urgency propelling them forward. As they approached, Shoya's eyes widened in disbelief at the sight before him. Titans, majestic yet fearsome, stood tall in the clearing, their presence radiating an ancient power that sent chills down his spine.
"This is unbelievable! What are Titans doing here?" Shoya gasped, his heart racing.
Summoning his scythe, he positioned himself defensively, ready to confront the unknown. "Who are you?" he demanded, his voice steady despite the chaos around them.
One of the Titans stepped forward, a towering figure with a fierce expression. "I am Adrean, the Titan meant to serve the Alpha. I sensed a powerful energy here, so I came to see the Alpha Titan," he declared, his voice deep and resonant.
Shoto, confused and protective, stepped closer. "What do you mean?"
Adrean pointed directly at Shoya. "He is the one who carries his powers."
"What do you mean?" Shoya asked, his brow furrowing in confusion.
With a swift gesture, Adrean unleashed his powers, creating a surge of energy that engulfed Shoya. In an instant, Shoya was overwhelmed with memories, visions of past holders of his powers flashing before his eyes. The intensity of the memories surged through him like a torrent, overwhelming his senses.
"Ahhhhh!" Shoya screamed, collapsing to his knees as the pain of the memories overwhelmed him.
"Shoya, what's happening? Adrean, you bastard!" Shoto yelled, instinctively moving to strike at Adrean.
But before he could act, Shoya, now transformed into his human form, raised a hand to stop him. "No, father, please!" he urged, breathing heavily as he fought through the deluge of memories.
"Shoto, Momo," he began, looking up with tears in his eyes, "I remembered everything, and I'm sorry for making you both wait."
Momo and Shoto rushed to him, embracing him tightly, relief washing over them.
"Shoya, my son!" Momo exclaimed, her voice trembling with emotion.
"I'm sorry that you had to go through so much," Shoto said, his voice thick with regret and love.
Shoya pulled back slightly, looking into their eyes with newfound resolve. "We can't change the past, Father, but I promise I won't leave you again."
As the emotional reunion unfolded, Adrean and the other Titans transformed back into their human forms, bowing before Shoya.
"Here, I, Grand Marshall Adrean, sincerely greet our league," Adrean declared, his tone shifting from hostility to respect. The other Titans followed suit, paying homage to Shoya as their rightful leader.
Shoya looked at Adrean, determination shining in his eyes. "Adrean, tell me where the other Titans are," he asked, urgency lacing his voice.
"They are in the Titan Sanctuary, waiting for your command," Adrean replied, his tone respectful.
Shoya nodded, formulating a plan in his mind. "I will inform you when there is war. Make sure our army is ready for battle."
With that, Adrean gave a solemn bow before disappearing into the shadows, leaving Shoya standing with his parents in the dim light of the clearing.
As the tension began to lift, Shoya turned to Momo and Shoto, a sense of gravity settling over them. "We have to prepare. The Titans are strong allies, but we will need more than just their strength if we're going to face All For One and the League of Villains."
Momo nodded, wiping away the remnants of tears from her eyes. "What do we need to do first?"
Shoto, his expression serious, crossed his arms. "We need to gather intelligence on our enemies and ensure our allies are ready to fight. We can't afford to be caught off guard."
Shoya felt a sense of urgency coursing through him, knowing that the fate of their world rested on their shoulders. "We should reach out to the other heroes and gather everyone for a strategy meeting. They need to understand the stakes."
Momo stepped closer, placing a hand on Shoya's shoulder. "Together, we can do this. We won't let fear control us."
Shoto glanced back toward the battlefield, his gaze fierce. "Let's make sure everyone is on the same page. The time for hesitation is over."
With their resolve solidified, Shoya felt a renewed sense of purpose. The bond with his parents and the Titans now strengthened his resolve to protect not only his family but all of humanity from the impending darkness. They stood united, ready to face whatever challenges lay ahead, determined to fight for their kind and reclaim peace in their world.
