No Ones P.O.V.

*BOOM* The training dummy exploded in Black flames. "Again! This time try lowering the blast range and heat!" All Might shouts into a walkie-talkie. "Got it!" Melascula says into the mic of the Aviation Headphones she wears as she fires another Flame from her hands. *BOOM*

'It's been about 2 weeks and 4 days since she started training here at Gym Gamma. So far she's made incredible progress! On the first day I told her to be careful of over using her quirk, but by the third day we came to the conclusion that Melascula's Ability was different. For some reason she has no downsides to Using her Quirk other than her getting tired after excessive use... Truly remarkable, a Quirk with no downsides is unheard of!'

*BOOM* Another blast of flames is shot off as Melascula wipes above her brow with her arm. She then puts her other hand up getting ready to shoot another blast until- "Hey! That's enough, take a break and rest."

"Gotcha!"

We see Melascula drinking a bottle of water while sitting down on a couch with All Might drinking an Energy drink. He takes a final sip before setting the empty bottle down on the table Infront of him. "You've progressed at an alarming rate over the 2 weeks you've spent training here. With the advantage you get from not having a current weakness... Means we can focus on increasing your stamina and control to the max!" He says while opening his arms for emphasis

"Thanks I try. But, will this really be enough to pass the Entrance Exam..?" Melascula says while clenching her fists with nervousness. "Well, what do you think?"

"Me? Well, if I had the gauge the other contestants using Katsuki as reference, assuming most of them are at least as strong if not more then pairing it with the amount of unique Quirks they might have not to mention the different ways they might fight and strategize along side-" "ALRIGHT THATS ENOUGH!" 

"Jeez kid, I just needed a yes or no? Are you confident in your abilities or not? No need to nerd out on me." All Might says with a smile on his skinny form "Well, if I had to make a guess by taking my abilities and natural strength into account. Yeah, I'm confident I can pass."

"That's all I needed to hear. Let's Get back to work!" He says while getting up and walking back into the training room Melascula seeing this quickly drinks all her water and shoots up to follow him "Yes sir!" She shouts but then falls back down holding her stomach mumbling "I really shouldn't have chugged that water..."

And here she was after 1 week and 6 days. Infront of the U.A. gates, ready to take the famed Entrance Exam.

Melascula's P.O.V.

'Jeez, I just made it... I almost slept in, good thing Mom woke me up today otherwise I would have had to take it next year and that would have just been awkward...' Even after all this time I still couldn't believe it... I was really there! At the U.A. Entrance Exam! In that moment of realization I could have died happy, nothing could have ruined that mome- "OUTA THE WAY MnM!" -Never mind.

No Ones P.O.V.

"Nice to see you too Kacchan.~" Melascula says with a 'sweet' smile on her face coming across as friendly to anyone who doesn't know her but to Bakugo, he heard the real message that she was trying to say (Choose your next words wisely.)

"I-I thought you stopped using that dumb Nickname..." He manages to stutter out 'expertly' changing the conversation "Hah, yeah I haven't used it in a while. I'll make sure to use it more since you care about it soooo much." 

"I NEVER SAID YOU SHOULD USE IT MORE!" He shouts and then storms off pushing Melascula as he stomps into U.A. 'You didn't exactly tell me I shouldn't use it more either.' "Ass." 

"That guy sure is angry, huh." A feminine voice sounds behind Melascula saying what most of the other Examinees around were thinking. "Yeah, but if you know him for long enough you can tell what he's really thinkin- Wait a minute, who are you..?"

"Oh sorry bout that. Name's Mina Ashido. I did kinda come up unannounced so, sorry bout that!" She says with her hands in a please or praying motion and a big smile on her face. "O-Oh, no it's fine. I'm Melascula Midoriya. It's nice to meet you."

"Likewise. But we should probably hurry and get inside, we don't wanna be late after all." Mina says as she starts sprinting off saying something but she was already too far ahead to be heard properly Melascula only managed to catch the first part where she said "Keep up!"

"Oh crap she's right... I'M GONNA BE LATE!" Melascula shouts as she starts sprinting after her

"WELCOME TO THE LIVE PERFORMACE EXAMINEES!! CAN I GET A "HEY!" ...

The silence sure is loud

"WELL THAT'S COOL MY LISTENERS!! I'M HERE TO PRESENT YOUR PRACTICAL! IF YOU'RE READY SAY "YEAH!!" ...

...

...

Please at least respond... the silence is killing me.

We see Melascula and Bakugo seated next to each other. Melascula is in another one of her muttering rants without realizing. "Wow, it really is the the voice Hero Present Mic! That's so cool-"

"Shaddup. You're annoying me."

"You sure talk big for someone that's just as exited as I am!" Melascula says with a teasing smile but Bakugo just flips her off and gets back to focusing on Present Mic.

"ALL RIGHT LISTEN UP CAUSE I'M SAYING THIS ONCE! YOU GUYS ARE GOING TO BE EXPERIENCING A TEN-MINUTE LONG MOCK CITY ESCAPE MANEUVERS!"

"BRING ALONG WHATEVER YOU NEED! AFTER THIS YOU'RE GOING STRAIGHT TO YOUR ASSIGNED TESTING LOCATIONS! CAN I GET A "O.K.?!" ...

Yep, we sure have an interesting bunch this year...

"That's most likely so kids from the same middle school don't help each other out." Bakugo says with a sigh "Yep, probably. It'd also explain why our consecutive I.D. numbers are also assigned to different locations." Melascula says while nodding sagely 

"I'll crush em all. But I guess you get to live another day MnM..."

"Why do you sound so sad about that..." Melascula says with a sweat drop falling from her head

"EACH SITE IS FILLED WITH THREE KINDS OF FAUX VILLAINS. DEPENDING ON HOW DIFFICULT THEY ARE TO DEFEAT YOU WILL BE AWARDED POINTS RANGING FROM WEAKEST GIVING THE LEAST AMOUNT OF POINTS TO THE STRONGEST GIVING THE MOST!

YOUR GOAL IS TO BEAT THE VILLAINS AND EAR THE MOST POINTS!"

"OH AND ATTACKING OTHER EXAMINEES IS PROHIBITED."

Present Mic finishes his lecture and then quietly asks "Any question?"

"Yes, I have a question!" A boy with straight, blue hair and glasses says with a raised hand

"YES, EXAMINEE 7111, WHAT'S THE PROB?"

"On the provided handout, there appear to be no less than four varieties of faux villain! If this is an error, then U.A. the most prominent school in Japan, should be ashamed!" He says with a firm look in his eyes and his pointer finger tapping the handout paper lightly to get his point across.

"And you with the pink hair and the blonde next to you!" He says turning around to face them and stretching out an accusatory hand pointing in their direction. Melascula seeing this can just let out a lame "Huh..?"

"You two have been talking this entire time... It's distracting! If you see this as some sort of game then I suggest you take your leave!"

...

"This four-eyes bastard trying to die..?" Bakugo mutters with his hands starting to crackle. Luckily he hid them under the table just in time as to not get caught and sent out for Quirk-use. The student sitting next to him besides Melascula who heard his were too scared to say a word of this action.

"ALRIGHT ALRIGHT, SETTLE DOWN. NICE CATCH ON THE VILLAIN 7111, BUT THE REASON I NEGLECTED TO MENTION THAT VILLAIN WAS DUE TO IT NOT BEING WORTH ANY POINTS. IT'S MORE OF AN OBSTACLE YOU'RE MEANT TO AVOID!"

"EVERY SITE HAS ONE THAT'LL RAMPAGE AROUND IN CLOSE QUARTERS!"

"I see... so it's like a stage gimmick that needs to be avoided. Thank you for answering my question sir." With that the boy then bows to show his apology before returning to his seat.

"THATS ALL FROM ME! NOW, I'LL LEAVE YOU LISTENERS WITH A PHRASE I WANT YOU TO REMEMBER. THAT'S TO ALWAYS GO BEYOND. "PLUS ULTRA!"

And with that Melascula was off to the false city. "Battle Center B" Seeing the huge place she could only look up in awe and give a weak "Whoa... it's huge..."

All the students were preparing the glasses boy was stretching, a girl with a round face and rosy cheeks was calming her breathing, a blonde boy with a big belt was staring right into the audience soul...

All the students looked as if they were ready for anything... Until... "AND BEGIN!"...

""Huh?""

...

"WHAT ARE YOU GUYS SITTING THERE WAITING FOR?! THERE AREN'T ANY COUNT DOWNS IN A REAL BATTLE! GET RUNNING!"

Suddenly all the students busted into a mad sprint all with one goal in mind. ''I've gotta get the most points..!''

We see Melascula running through the city searching for robots before *CRASH!!* A robot smashes through a building and appears right Infront of her 'Darn it... It's just a one-pointer... Oh well, I'll make quick word of it so I can join get the most points!'

She shoots a tiny black and purple fireball at the robot that quickly expands and explodes turning the once robot into nothing but ashes. 

'Well that's one point... Now time to get a bunch more!'

What followed was nothing short of a robot massacre. The cycle continued as such, Melascula would find a robot, create a small baseball sized fireball, and explode it upon impact with the robot.

Occasionally she would help any of her fellow examinees she found and then she would continue on with her electronic robo-slaughter.

'I really should have been keeping count of how many I destroyed... I have no idea how much points I have now... But it's weird I still haven't spotted the zero poi-' *BOOOOM!*

"Oh..." She says weakly as she looks up seeing a giant robot towering over the buildings staring right back at her. 'You know when they said a gimmick that should be avoided... You'd normally think of, I don't know... a Thwomp from Super Mario Bros, or a spike trap from Sonic... NOT A GODZILLA SIZED ROBOT TRYING TO CRUSH ME TO DEATH!!!'

As she looks back and notices all the students running away thinking logically she decides it'd be best to follow them. After her talk with All Might a few weeks ago she became more confident in her abilities so she's confident she could defeat this robot without much trouble. However, she decided it's best to not exert herself so she can gain more points.

That is until she hears a voice behind her. "Oww..."

She slowly tuns around and see's a girl. It's the same rosy cheeked round race girl with shoulder length brunette hair who was trying to calm her breathing at the start of the exam.

In moments of stress the human mind becomes more observant and aware.

Melascula could notice all these features and notice that the girls leg was caught underneath ruble. Acting before thinking she rushes back towards the girl her entire hand coated in black flames that are waving behind her and she runs up to the girl 

As she reaches next to her she extends her hand to the robot before releasing her most powerful blast yet!

"Dark Flame."

"TIMES UP!"

"I'm glad you're okay Uraraka! You're lucky you got your leg healed up by Recovery Girl so quickly after the test." Melascula says as we see her walking out of U.A. with the now healed Uraraka who is looking at her with stars in her eyes.

"Yeah but I wouldn't have been so lucky if you didn't turn around to save me... Thanks again for that!" She replies with a bow of gratitude and a smile on her face "It's nothing really. But, I think my power scared all the other Examinees..."

"Speaking of your power, what was with that crazy firepower?! I've never seen something so awesome in real life!" Uraraka says with her hands in the air for emphasis 

"Yeah, I didn't even know I could do that to be honest..."

Flashback

"Dark Flame."

Instantaneously as she said those words everything Infront of her in a 20 Meter radius was engulfed by her signature black and purple flames. There were no Examinees in her path so she used her max firepower and the result showed.

By the time the flames had died down all that was left was ash. Not the robot. Not the Buildings. Just ash. Uraraka and the rest of Examinees who were behind her saw this and were understandably shocked with most thinking ''Wow... I'm glad she's a Hero course student.''

Flashback End 

"That was crazy, how's your arm by the way?" Uraraka asks with concern laced in her voice. "After you used that power your arm was shaking, and it had burns on it." 

"It's good now, thanks to Recovery Girl. She's a life saver." Melascula says with a small laugh 'The burns weren't that bad though... They would most likely have healed in a few days. And I was only shaking because I got stressed when I saw Uraraka almost crushed. I guess the burns do count as a weakness though. I should tell All Might.'

"Well I should get going now Uraraka, I can't have my mom worrying for me. I hope we both get in, bye!" Melascula says running to catch her train as she hears Uraraka shout back a quick "Bye. You too!" as she sprints away she thinks to herself. 'Weird, I never saw him here...'

One Week Later

As Melascula is on her PC scrolling through YoTube (Yes it's called this in-Universe.) She is watching a video documentary on Midnight that is a little too... Mature for the site that she is watching it on. As it's about to get to the best part her mom sprints into her room "MELASCULA HONEY IT'S HER- what were you watching..?" 

She questions as Melascula quickly closed to tab and looked back at Inko with sweat drenching her face. "O-OH THAT.. IT WAS... UH.... WAIT IS THAT MY LETTER FROM U.A.?!"

"Huh.. OH, YES! IT FINALLY ARRIVED!" 

"...Oh."

"DON'T JUST SAY "OH!" She shout's as she quickly tells Melascula to "Hurry and open it!" to which she obliged and opened the letter revealing "I AM HERE! AS A PROJECTION!" All Might?

"Congratulations, Young Midoriya. Your score has passed even my own of eighty-nine! While true if you were paying attention to your points you only got forty-five Villain Points. While that is enough to pass, it's certainly not eighty-nine... At least It wouldn't be if we were only looking for Villain points!"

"Rescue points were also a factor! Melascula Midoriya, rescue points Seventy! Added together for a total of One hundred and fifteen points! You know what that means..."

"I'm in..!"

"Welcome Melascula Midoriya... TO YOUR HERO ACADEMY!"

And then it was already Spring. On the morning of the first day.

Melascula's P.O.V.

"Melascula do you have your pocket tissues!?" 

"Yeah!"

"How about your handkerchief?! You don't cry as much as I do but still!"

"Yeah, Mom I always have it on me! I've really gotta go now!" 

"Melascula one more thing!"

"Whaaat?!"

"You look great!" Inko says with tears in her eyes threatening to fall

"..! Thank you... See ya later!"

And so I was off to school. The acceptance rate that year was just as small, four people got in because of recommendations, and 36 through the regular exams. We were split into two classes of 20 students each.

And even with that...

"I STILL CAN'T FIND CLASS 1-A- Oh wait there it is." I say as I look up to the huge door. Guess it must be for people with Giant quirks to fit in as well. Well, I can at least hope to start off this new class without any trouble!

"Take your feet off that desk! Such actions are insulting to those who came to U.A. before us, as well as the craftsmen who made the desks!"

"THINK I GIVE A DAMN?! YOUR OLD MIDDLE SCHOOL PUT A STICK UP YOUR ASS, OR WERE YOU JUST BORN WITH IT, YA EXTRA?!"

Yep... without any trouble...
