My Daily Life of Farming in the World of Cultivation

Chapter 61: Acquiring the Spirit Sword

Having such an idea, Fang Yun naturally wanted to take the opportunity to study how to enhance his combat power.

After all, having already achieved the Foundation Establishment Stage, he couldn't let his combat power lag behind.

Even though he did not have immediate plans to leave the island, the necessary preparations still needed to be made.

He could not allow his cultivation system to have any obvious weaknesses.

In the Cultivation World, there are many ways to enhance combat power; one is through external objects, such as Magic Artifacts or Spirit Talismans.

After reaching the Foundation Establishment Stage, ordinary Spirit Talismans hardly have an effect.

Fang Yun did not know the process of making Spirit Talismans, but from observing prior Foundation Establishment combat, he noticed they rarely used Spirit Talismans.

So, if one wants to rely on external force, the best method is to obtain a Magic Artifact, or rather, a Spiritual Artifact.

A Magic Artifact is a weapon used during the Qi Cultivation Stage; a Spiritual Artifact is what one should use during the Foundation Establishment Stage.

Fang Yun calculated the Spirit Stones he had; buying a Spiritual Artifact should be feasible.

However, according to his combat habits during the Qi Cultivation Stage, he rarely used Magic Artifacts, so using a Spiritual Artifact during the Foundation Establishment Stage may not necessarily align with his intentions.

At most, it would just enhance his combat power.

Compared to relying on a Spiritual Artifact, Fang Yun preferred to further enhance the power of his own Spells, after all, a Spiritual Artifact is still an external object, and it's hard to find one that perfectly suits his taste.

But Spells are uniquely his own.

If he could enhance the power of his Spells to the level of the Foundation Establishment Stage, that would indeed suit Fang Yun's combat style better.

However, achieving this was not an easy task.

Most importantly, his Spells had already reached the Perfect Realm long ago.

To enhance further from the Perfect Realm, Fang Yun currently had no ideas.

While pondering how to improve his combat power, a sudden intense fluctuation came from the cave in the mountainside.

Sensing this fluctuation, Fang Yun's expression froze.

Then a smile bloomed on his face.

After so many years, the Spiritual Insect he used to replace the Jiao Dragon, nurtured with a Jiao Dragon Egg, was finally about to hatch.

He hoped this Spiritual Insect would not disappoint him.

With that thought, Fang Yun leaped down and entered the cave.

Upon entering the cave, he saw the giant egg emitting a black and golden glow.

Large amounts of Spiritual Energy were converging towards the egg.

Seeing this, an idea struck Fang Yun; the Five Elements Plants located underground began absorbing Spiritual Energy from the Spirit Vein, channeling it around the giant egg.

Watching the giant egg devour large amounts of Spiritual Energy, Fang Yun thought it over, looking at the Life Essence Qi in his Central Dantian.

Then, the previously saved Level 1 Life Essence Qi began to converge towards the giant egg.

As these Life Essence Qi converged towards the giant egg, Fang Yun could clearly feel at the heart of the egg there was a pea-sized point of black and gold glow gathering.

However, beyond this point, he could not sense anything further.

Thus, Fang Yun generously injected a few strands of Second Level Life Essence Qi from his Central Dantian into the egg.

Stimulated by the Second Level Life Essence Qi, the egg absorbed the surrounding Spiritual Energy at an accelerated rate.

Simultaneously, Fang Yun's Divine Sense broke through the barrier of the black and gold glow, entering a void.

Having experience, he knew he had entered the microscopic world of the Spiritual Insect.

In this void, there were no Five Elements Energy gene planets that he had observed before in the Spirit Plants.

Instead, there were many tiny gold light points.

As Fang Yun's Divine Sense approached, he discovered that each light point was like a star in the night sky, each star composed of countless Runes.

These Runes continuously drifted out of the star's body, then were absorbed back into the star.

He attempted to acquire information from these Rune stars as he would have from those genetic details.

However, as Fang Yun's Divine Sense scanned over, he did not get the information he wanted.

After observing in this void for a while and finding nothing, Fang Yun withdrew his Divine Sense from this void.

Back in the outside world, the giant egg's absorption of surrounding Spiritual Energy had not stopped, but it was gradually slowing down.

After waiting a while longer, the giant egg finally ceased absorbing external Spiritual Energy.

As the shell of the giant egg turned into a pile of ash and fell to the ground, a pea-sized black and gold light point appeared before Fang Yun's eyes.

Looking at this black and gold light point, an idea struck Fang Yun and the light point gently floated onto his hand.

Only upon closer examination did he realize that this light point no longer had the appearance of the previous Spiritual Insect.

Instead, it was merely a black and gold pellet.

But Fang Yun could clearly feel that this black pellet was filled with a higher spiritual nature compared to the previous Spiritual Insect.

Perhaps sensing Fang Yun's gaze, the black pellet flickered and continued to circle rapidly around Fang Yun.

Its speed was extremely fast, at least a dozen times faster compared to the previous Spiritual Insect's speed.

Yet even at this terrifying speed circling around Fang Yun, not a trace of noise was produced.
