My Adventures As The Saiyan God of destruction

Chapter 27: City attacked

The chamber grew still, the echoes of the battle fading into the background as the gravity of what had just occurred settled over everyone present. Kade, however, took a moment to bask in the victory, his eyes sparkling with mischief. He looked around, the corners of his mouth twitching upwards in a cocky smirk, the crimson light of his transformation dimming back to their usual fiery crimson. The room was a mess, but it was a sight he found oddly satisfying.

"Well, that was a bit more intense than I expected," he quipped, his voice laced with a hint of amusement. He turned to the other saiyans , who were watching him with a mix of shock and admiration. "I guess that's what you get for messing with the big bad Destroyer of Universes."

Before the stunned silence could linger any longer, the sound of pounding footsteps echoed through the corridors. Vala, her eyes blazing with a mix of anger and concern, burst into the chamber. Her gaze swept over the destruction, then locked onto Kade.

"You... you did it," she exclaimed, her voice trembling with a passion that seemed to resonate through the very air. "You protected us all from that monster!"

Kade couldn't help but smirk at the sight of Vala, her emerald brown alight with a fiery desire that mirrored the battle-lust they'd just shared in the arena. He could feel the heat emanating from her body as she stalked closer, her fists clenched at her sides.

"I love you, Kade!" she shouted, her voice a mix of elation and relief. "You're so powerful! So fucking powerful!"

Her words hung in the air, charged with a primal energy that seemed to resonate with the very essence of the chamber. Fasha raised an eyebrow, her mouth twisting into a smirk as she took in the scene. Even in victory, Kade's charm had a way of turning the most serious of moments into something... else.

"Thanks for the vote of confidence, Vala," Kade said, his grin widening. "But let's not get ahead of ourselves. I've still got a whole universe to look after, and I can't have you distracting me with your... enthusiastic praise."

Vala stepped closer, her eyes narrowing as she placed a hand on her hip. "You can't fool me, Kade," she said, her voice low and sultry. "I see the way you look at me when we fight. You're not just impressed by my battle skills, are you?"

Kade's smirk grew. "And what else would I be looking at?"

Vala stepped closer, her voluptuous chest pressing against his bare torso. "You know exactly what," she said, her voice a seductive whisper. "Admit it. You want a good Saiyan woman by your side. Someone who can match your power, your passion... your hunger."

Kade raised an eyebrow, his grin fading into a smoldering look. "Is that what Aria's been telling you?" he asked, his tone playfully mocking. "That I've got a soft spot for a fiery warrior with... certain assets?" He reached up and traced a finger along the edge of her leather bustier, drawing a gasp from Vala.

"Maybe she has a point," he admitted, his eyes lingering on her ample cleavage. "There's something about a woman who can handle herself in a fight... and knows how to handle a man like me." His voice grew lower, more intimate, as his hand traveled down her arm, leaving a trail of warmth in its wake.

Vala's cheeks flushed slightly, a rare show of vulnerability. "Well, if that's what you're after, I can certainly provide," she said, her voice thick with desire. "But you should know, I'm not just looking for a casual fling. I want a partner, someone to share in the battles and the triumphs."

Kade leaned in, his breath hot against her ear. "And I want someone who understands the weight of the responsibilities I carry," he murmured. "Someone who can be my equal in every way." His hand wrapped around her waist, pulling her closer as he whispered, "But first, I need to know if you can handle what I have to offer."

Vala's eyes narrowed, a smirk playing on her lips. "Is that a challenge, Kade?"

"It's a fact, Vala. I am the God of Destruction. If I want to keep this universe from falling into the hands of tyrants, I can't have rogue Saiyans like Radak wreaking havoc wherever they go."

Her eyes searched his, the emerald pools filled with a fiery passion that matched his own. "But what of us, Kade? What of the connection we share?"

He took a step back, releasing her waist. "Our bond is strong, Vala, but the fate of this universe is in my hands. And if that means facing down every last Saiyan who would defy the natural order, so be it.

The interruption came like a cold shower, snapping them out of their passionate exchange. A Saiyan elite royal guard burst through the doors, panting heavily. "My lord, a disturbance! Radak has been sighted attacking a city on the outskirts of the planet!"

Kade's expression hardened, the flirtatious glint in his eyes replaced by a steely resolve. "Where?" he demanded, his voice a thunderclap that echoed through the chamber.

"On the planet's outskirts, my lord," the guard managed between gasps for air. "The city of Zendo. The defenses are holding, but they won't last long against his might."

Kade's jovial expression morphed into one of cold determination. "It seems my 'brother' has decided to make his stand," he said, the word tasting bitter on his tongue. "I will not allow his destruction to continue." He turned to Vala, his eyes blazing with the power of a star. "We must put an end to this. Will you stand by my side?"

Vala's eyes narrowed, her own power surging within her. "Radak has crossed the line," she said, her voice low and dangerous.

"I was just a child when he came to my world," she began, her tone shifting to one of icy anger. "Our peaceful village was nothing but a plaything to him, a place to flex his muscles and flaunt his power. He slaughtered everyone—my family, my friends. All because we wouldn't bow to his twisted sense of superiority."
