MY 10,000× DIMENSIONAL SYSTEM

Chapter 113: Scions

Scions

Within the Hedron Supercluster, there were thousands of galaxies housing an insane number of living beings with an incredible amount of powerful forces among them. But only very few of them were capable of rising to prominence and were capable of competing for the larger resource pools.

As such, despite the Realm gate being an extremely alluring thing that was bound to draw in lots of attention, only a small number of the myriad of forces within the Supercluster were capable of actually moving to conquer it.

Despite that though, there were still dozens of forces with hundreds of thousands of entities that would serve as the vanguard to go in and conquer and loot the Realm.

Currently, a massive congregation of forces could be seen gathered. They were split into different groups as many were of different races and they were all divided by colours and the vessels they used to travel in the deep reaches of outer space.

Their number was truly incredible, however, in front of the gargantuan Realm gate, they were hardly noticeable.

The massive construct stretched on for a few lightyears and looked like a giant crack in space time.

From within the crack, deep blue light was being emitted, and this light was unbelievably frigid, to the point that whatever celestial body that was even remotely close to it was turned into a giant ice sculpture.

Luckily though, the beings that intended to invade the Realm were all equipped with powerful ice resistant items that allowed them to endure the cold, and the vessels that they travelled in were even more robustly equipped.

Now there were many celestial bodies floating within the vicinity. Some of them were large planets, some were gas giants that had frozen over, looking very interesting and scary as a result, and there were many large asteroids and Dwarf planets.

On one of these frozen pieces of rock, three large vessels could be seen floating above it. One of them was reminiscent of a disk and was bright blue. Another one was streamlined and sharp and looked like it was made up of starlight. And the last one looked rugged and menacing, being grey in colour.

And on the surface of the celestial body, a strange scene could be observed.

There was no oxygen anywhere near this place. Or anything that could be inhaled. And the gravity was pitiful. And yet there was a neatly placed table with three chairs, each taken by a figure.

The figures were all humanoid and appeared fairly young. Two of them were female and the last was a male.

The first woman was fairly short and had a modest figure with flowing blue hair and a pretty cute face. But despite her adorable features, she had a very fierce look in her eyes. Which only served to make her look more adorable.

The other woman was a complete opposite. She was fairly tall with a very profound figure. He clothes hugging her chest and backside tightly. And despite covering everything up and leaving no gaps, it was still capable of tempting any man.

However she had a very calm temperament, her hair looked to be swirling with nebulas and galaxies, each moving calmly like her features that seemed graceful and charming.

The last person, the male, seemed quite pale. He was very handsome in his own right. His skin was so white he looked sick, but it only served to enhance his charms. He was also pretty skinny and his clothes hugged him loosely, but he didn't seem to mind. There was a hint of an amused smile on his face.

The three of them sat at the table without saying anything for quite some time. But finally, one of them spoke. Namely, the skinny man.

"Scion Constella, Scion Jenny. It's been a while hasn't it?" He asked and the woman with nebulous hair, Constella, spared him a glance but said nothing.

Meanwhile the other girl, Jenny, scowled.

"Stop it with the pleasantries you weirdo. The only reason I'm not killing you right now is because we have a ceasefire agreement." She huffed and the man's smile widened.

"I'm hurt. It's been so long since we saw each other and the only thing on your mind is your desire to kill me? How unfortunate…" He said dramatically.

"If you have something to say then say it. We don't have time for your games, Vazer." Constella spoke concisely , but her tone had a but of sharpness.

"Geez, tough crowd. You'd think the three young scions of the three great clans would get along with each other. But oh well." He sighed before chuckling.

"Well, no point in delaying, my dear peers. So I will stop wasting time and say what I want to say." He announced and the two finally turned their attention to him.

"Your sources must have told you that this Realm gate must have belonged to the Paragon of frost, Pruina." He said and the females nodded slightly.

"Well, I wanna strike a deal with you lot." The moment he said it, Jenny snorted.

"Not interested." She spoke with annoyance and stood up.

"Nascent Heart." He said before she could leave and she froze. She turned slowly and faced him with narrowed eyes.

The scene would have looked funny considering her height, but the dangerous Aura around her made it clear to anyone near that she wasn't to be trifled with.

"If you help me, I'll give you the Nascent heart. It's something you've been looking for isn't it?" Vazar smirked and placed his chin on his hand.

Jenny gritted her teeth, but she reluctantly sat down.

"... I'm listening." She said after a moment and Constella just shook her head and waited for Vazar to speak.

"What I want is simple. I desire an item that I'm certain can be found inside that place. The Cryo Core. If any of you find it and give it to me, I'll give you something of equal value. In Jenny's case, the Nascent Heart." He explained and Constella raised a brow.

"What business does someone like you have with such a thing?" She asked and Vazar touched his chin.

"Hm… not telling you." He replied and she rolled her eyes but decided not to press.

Something to note was that despite the conversation seemed only slightly tense but nothing very serious, the reality was that any of the three beings seated there were ready to spring into action and retaliate in case the other two tried something.

They were three of some of the few Apex ranked beings among the gathering of forces here. But they were also the undisputed strongest among them as well.

In fact, the only beings here that possessed higher combat power than them were the Sovereigns which also came from their clans, but the limit of power beings required to enter the Realm gate was Apex. So the Sovereigns wouldn't be able to enter the Realm gate even if they wanted to.

Regardless, not only were these three among the strongest, but the places they stemmed from were also the strongest of the forces gathered here.

Jenny, the blue haired girl, stemmed from a small, but incredibly powerful clan which centered their power around the summoning of powerful entities from beyond their plane of existence. Each of these entities possessing a myriad of miraculous Skills.

Constella stemmed from the clan that called themselves the Starwalkers and they were strange beings born of the cosmos themselves as their very beings contained legitimate stars and galaxies.

Lastly was Vezar. Who stemmed from a clan that was a bit more mysterious than the first to, but no less terrifying. A clan that called themselves the Corruptionists.

As their name implies, they believed in spreading a strange Corruption wherever they went. There were a lot more details to it, but that was the general idea.

The Three of them had obtained the titles of Scions. A special distinction given to those who expressed incredible talent and potential. As they were believed to have the capacity to surpass the Sovereign Rank and achieve the level of Paragon. As such, not only were they very powerful, but they were also unbelievably valuable. And anything harm that came to them would lead to a very terrible result for whoever caused said harm.

"But that's my offer. Help me attain the Cryo Core, and I'll give you something of equal value. That is, whoever brings one back anyway. But I'll accept both if you both do." He smiled and the two girls glared at him.

"And how do we know you'll keep your word?" Jenny asked and Vazar rolled his eyes.

"Stop being weird. You know we can just make vows to make it official." He said and the short Girl's eye twitched.

"What if you obtain a Cryo Heart on your own?" Constella asked.

"It doesn't matter. In fact, the more you can gather, the better, and I'll compensate you two accordingly." He said simply, and the two girls went silent as they considered the offer.

***

'Interesting.' Christopher thought as Aisha replayed the conversation to him.

Currently the girl and her new subordinates were observing the different forces' past, present, and near future, though the last one was a bit difficult. And they were relaying the information to Christopher who was making preparations himself.

The information was a lot and Christopher was starting to understand a lot more about the forces that populated the universe and what they were capable of. And needless to say, the information was rich.

'Scions huh?' He thought and smiled slightly. He was interested in what they could do as well as the powers they wielded. There was lots of knowledge for him to reap and he wasn't going to let it go at all.
