MUSHOKU TENSEI: the beginning after the end

 Alek Orsted and me stood in the center of the teleportation circle.

Feeling the familiar sensation of teleportation that I am getting used to, I was able to observe the void world for a few brief moments just like Orted and I could notice the determination when looking at the blank space.

As if I woke up from a dream, I opened my eyes and found that we were in teleportation ruins. 

Orsted led the way and when I left I found familiar surroundings...

we were in the lower jaw of the red Wyrm....

The place where I had my fateful meeting with Orsted... is a ravine with a path that cut through 

straight through the mountains. The road was not as straight as the Highway. 

Holy Sword, but it also did not separate or fork. It was a territory between the borders 

of the kingdom of Asura that no one claimed.

Ugg...couldn't you choose another area? This place brings back bad memories- I told Orsted.

"Don't be a crybaby, this is the right place to analyze his powers without hurting innocents," said Orsted as he walked towards the ravine.

-Alek...it's time- Orsted said as he stared at Alek

-yes sir....-

Alek approached Orsted and extended his right arm towards him.

Orsted began to speak in an unknown language.

Could it be the language of the Dragon God? I thought as I watched the magic circle on Alek's stump stop glowing and a piece of paper fell.

It seems that they simply glued a magic circle made of paper and it was done...

Alek sighed as he looked at his stump.

After approximately 5 minutes the stump began to grow at a moderate rate.

It was honestly disgusting how the flesh began to stir and the bones penetrated Alek's flesh.

The bones formed the hand, followed by the muscles and ligaments and finally the skin.

The process was fairly fast

Alek opened and closed his hand as if he were adjusting to it again.

-I had forgotten this feeling, now I feel like I am 100%...-Alek murmured.

"Very good, now take it," Orsted said as he extended the gigantic sword to Alek.

-...-Alek looked at the sword with a tone of doubt and after exchanging glances with me and Orsted, Alek took the sword

I could see in his expression as if he became more powerful at first glance.

Taking a deep breath and exhaling slowly, his grip on the hilt tightened as he looked at me.

"Very well, Alek, let us go down to the bottom of the cliff," said Orsted.

-eh?..ah! I understand sir....what was it like?, in my hand a sword

No, it's just a warm-up...- Alek murmured as he raised the sword above his head with both hands.

I quickly felt a feeling of lightness and quickly got up from the ground.

-w-whoa?, what's happening?!- I screamed scared but from Orsted's feeling I could tell that he was looking at me like a crying baby.

Alek quickly made us go down to the bottom of the ravine and then jumped and cushioned his own fall with magic that came from the same sword...

Upon noticing my astonishment, Alek smiled.

"Oh, Mr. Rudeus, what I just did was use the force of the world to move us from one place to another," Alek said with a smile.

the force of the world?...ah...it must be gravity magic

-Very well, now Rudeus, have a fight with Alek, we have to analyze your current abilities to see where we can start from, said Orsted.

Before I could respond, Alek spoke for me.

"Are you sure, Mr. Orsted? Mr. Rudeus is not wearing his armor..." Alek said doubtfully.

"You're not going to attack to kill him, are you? Besides, we have to train him first in this area and then he'll use his armor," Orsted asked.

-eh!?, oh... I see sir- said Alek as he looked at mine and took a combat position.

"Very good!!, Mr. Rudeus, I will let you give the first blow! Attack me with everything you have! Please don't hold back!" Alek shouted at me with an excited expression.

 shit...I have to go all out...this guy is a world power

I have no chance against him...

I thought as I began to accumulate mana in the palms of my hands.

"Very well, then begin!" said Orsted.

1 second later I conjured a stone cannon and threw it at Alek at full speed.

It was the strongest one I have ever created, even stronger than the one I used against Badigadi in the university.

The bullet flew at an incredible speed but... Alek with a movement that my demonic eye could not see, the bullet split in two and flew in different directions from where Alek was.

shit!

I conjured smaller stone cannons and threw them at Alek all at once.

He destroyed each and every one of them with incredible precision.

"This is my chance," I murmured as I conjured a huge stone pillar.

Yes! While he is distracted by the stone bullets I can hit him with an accurate hit and win!

I loaded another round of stone bullets and finished forming the pillar, I cast mud and I could see Alek sinking in the mud and then I threw an ice spear at him

that he again split in half without effort

and finally...

-hah!-

The stone pillar fell at an enormous speed giving an accurate impact.

but I shouldn't trust

I took distance and, conjuring another pillar of earth, searched among the rubble for any sign of Alek.

I obviously I knew that something like this wouldn't kill him, oh he couldn't call himself a world power.

until I notice a human Silhouette in the smoke

"Now!" I shouted as I threw another stone pillar at him, which was another accurate hit.

I can win! I thought

cast a huge ice spear ignoring the mana cost.

(boom!!!)

A huge explosion took me out of my concentration and a moment later Alek flew out from the rubbles

-Haha, fantastic Mr. Rudeus, now it's my turn- was the only thing I heard him say before his image blurred from my sight.

I turned back just as he was about to catch me.

At the last second I conjured a stone wall but Alek destroyed it in half as if it were butter.

The stone spear fell when I lost my mana flow but I managed to head towards Alek

But he dodged it with great ease, i threw stone bullets followed by ice spears and created a mudhole to stop him a little, but Alek didn't even flinch.

As if I were flying, he take a huge leap in front of my mud puddle

With a sonic wind I moved away from the path of his sword and threw fireballs at him which he cut as if it were nothing while closing the distance between us again.

Shit if this continues I'm going to lose!

-hah!, Take this I yelled as I threw a super charged fireball at him but... Alek cut it off again and an explosion occurred that launched me towards a cliff wall, with sonic wind dampening The impact and without wasting time I began to accumulate a huge amount of mana in my hands

Alek emerged from the explosion with minor cuts and burns.

It's now or never!

I throws another fireball at him which cuts him down as planned and throws my most powerful Frost Nova at him which fortunately caught him only leaving his head free.

-Let's end this!- I shouted as I threw a huge stone pillar at him that hit the target.

D-did I do it?!- I murmured hopefully

As I waited impatiently for the rubble to clear..

-Wonderful... you never cease to amaze me Mr. Rudeus, now I'll go for real!- said Alek as he stood behind me at an imperceptible speed

I barely managed to turn around only for him to give me a huge kick to the solar plexus that left me breathless.

-This is just the beginning, Mr. Rudeus!- I heard Alek shout

Shit...I knew I had no chance...I have to do something now!
