Neo pov

' Now Lien isn't even enough for one day.

I think as I look at the bag of remaining jewellery in my hands. I open the door to the clock shop and walk down the stairs. Thanks to me, Christmas lights are now hung between the clocks in the dark ground floor . I walk through the lighted room and approach the hatch in the kitchen. I walk down to the bunker and enter the main room through the open thick door. Inside there are now a couple of wooden crates for storage, there is also a small table and an old sofa.

' It reminds me of a warehouse now.'

I think as I lift the lid of the crate and throw the remaining jewellery inside. I close the chest and walk towards the bedroom and inside I find Kurumi reading a book.

' 'Etiquette basics for young ladies. '

' Since she learned to read she has grown fond of books '

' But I still don't understand why she is reading it '.

I think as I walk towards the new clothes wardrobe in the room.

"Did you pick up the jewellery? "

While changing my clothes I hear Kurumi's voice behind me I turn my head towards her and nod in confirmation.

"And how much was sold today? "

Hearing this question I sigh and show her with my hands that only half has sold.

" I understand "

Kurumi says putting her book away. Dressed I lie down next to her on the bed.

"So are we doing what we planned? "

Hearing Kurumi's question I can only look at her with a "are you sure?" look . Looking at me Kurumi says.

" The generator is running out of dust we can be without it but we will have to leave the bunker."

" We also can't steal the dust because stealing a massive load is not feasible for us and collecting individual packets of dust is not efficient."

I think as I close my eyes and fall asleep cuddled up to my Kurumi .

I'm standing with Neo next to Big papa's car with Ash and Copper already sitting inside. And Big mama is standing in front of us.

" I didn't think you would really help us with this".

I say looking at big mama.

" I really don't want to help you in get into this side of the world".

" However, as much as I would like not to even under our care you will see this world"

" I just hope you remember that this is not theft or self-defence when you do this the money you get will be covered in blood "

" Today you will go with the boys to see if you can do it if you can't the boys will finish it for you"

Says big mum as she sends us to the car. As we get in the car I see big mum walking back to the pawn shop.

Big Papa pov

"Are you sure about this?"

I ask my lovely wife knowing how the decision weighs on her.

"And what should I do? "

" Outside the cities there are hordes of monsters wanting to kill every human being and in the cities you have people who will do anything to survive "

" Some people do even more monstrous things just for their own pleasure".

" Whether I want to or not they will see it and they will have to defend themselves."

Hearing my beloved I can only hug her.

" Besides, I know Kurumi and Neo they alone would be able to enter the underground part of the Vale."

I say as I believe these two are already powerful my boys are not the best but just their simple training has put them both at their level.

Hearing this from my wife I know she is no longer so worried. Now all we have to do is wait to see if they can both make it and then they will be part of the dark side of this world and it will be our job to not leave them alone in this darkness.

Dark rain clouds appeared over the Vale completely obscuring the sun. In the rain a black car drove down the street stopping on one of the kerbs.

" Neo has already done it early on you only helped her with it,"

" Now you need to know if you can do it yourself and if you can't then me and Ash will go in"

Said Copper his normally cheerful face was serious this time as he handed Kurumi the scroll.

Kurumi looking at the scroll seems surprised when Ash looks at Kurumi through the rear view mirror.

" Mom picked the worst trash deserving of death from among the targets".

Kurumi nods and, handing over the scroll, gets out of the car straight into the rain. She slowly walks towards an alley making her silhouette disappear into one of them and all this was watched by Neo.

Copper says when Neo pays no attention to him and continues to stare at the place where Kurumi disappeared .
