Moriarty/ Sherlock: Blood and Shadows.

Whitechapel – A Three-Way Standoff

The gaslights flickered, casting long shadows that stretched across the cobbled streets of Whitechapel. A silence hung in the air, thick with tension. William Moriarty stood with his hands casually in his pockets, his golden eyes locked onto the creature before him.

Jack the Ripper grinned, his crimson gaze gleaming with something inhuman. The scent of blood lingered around him like perfume, the darkness itself seeming to coil around his figure.

And then there was Sherlock Holmes, standing at a calculated distance, his piercing eyes darting between the two masterminds. His mind was already racing through possibilities, strategies, and escape routes.

Three men. Three predators.

The air between them crackled with something unspoken—a challenge.

Jack took a slow step forward, his boots clicking against the wet stone. "Well, well. London's greatest criminal and its greatest detective, standing before me." His lips curled. "I almost feel honored."

Holmes' fingers twitched at his side, itching for his pistol. "Spare me the theatrics. We both know what you are."

Jack's grin widened, revealing fangs. "Do you?"

For a brief moment, the world seemed to hold its breath.

Then, he moved.

---

A Shadow in the Night

Jack was fast—too fast.

In the blink of an eye, he closed the distance between them, lunging toward Sherlock with supernatural speed. But Holmes was no ordinary man.

Anticipating the attack, Sherlock sidestepped just in time, his coat whipping through the air as Jack's clawed hand sliced through empty space.

Louis Moriarty's gun fired.

Bang!

A clean shot. A direct hit.

But Jack didn't fall.

Instead, he turned his head, his smile never fading. The bullet had torn through his shoulder, but not a drop of blood spilled.

He was already healing.

Louis' breath hitched. "Impossible…"

Jack chuckled. "Oh, my dear boy… you really should have aimed for my heart."

Then he vanished.

---

A Mind Against a Monster

Sherlock spun, scanning the rooftops. His mind was working at an inhuman pace. He doesn't just move fast—he disappears between the gaps in perception.

Moriarty, however, had already deduced something else.

He turned to Louis and Albert. "Withdraw. Now."

Louis hesitated. "But—"

"That's an order."

The Moriarty brothers obeyed without question, disappearing into the shadows as swiftly as they had come.

Sherlock narrowed his eyes. "Giving up already?"

William smirked. "Hardly."

Jack's laughter echoed from above. "How interesting… you didn't even try to fight me, Lord Moriarty."

William adjusted his gloves, calm as ever. "Because I don't waste time on battles I haven't already won."

For the first time, Jack's expression faltered.

William's smile deepened. "I've seen creatures like you before. You revel in chaos, in bloodshed. But that makes you predictable." He took a slow step forward. "And predictability… is weakness."

Jack's grin returned, sharper this time. "We'll see about that."

And just like that—

He was gone.

---

A Silent Agreement

The alley was empty now, save for two men.

Sherlock dusted off his coat. "So. You knew."

William gave him a sidelong glance. "I suspected."

Holmes exhaled slowly. "A vampire." The word felt absurd even to him.

Moriarty simply adjusted his cuffs. "Not just a vampire." His golden eyes gleamed. "A problem."

Sherlock tilted his head. "And I suppose you have a solution?"

William Moriarty smiled.

"Oh, naturally."
