Chapter : Aether Power System
Aether as a definition, is the mana essence of existence. It's split into two:
World Mana
Life Root (the soul, the heart)
Tezhe are unique manifestations of a person's dormant life root. Depending on its effect, one's Tezhe categorize them into pathways:
Pathway of the Body (Physical Augmentations)
Pathway of the Mind (Buffs, Mind-Related abilities, Tangible Concept Manipulation like water, fire, earth, wind, air etc.)
Pathway of the Spirit (Manipulate intangible concepts - shadow, time, space, light, reflection, sound)
Each Tezhe ability has five ranks of Minor, Intermediate, Advanced, Mastered, Exalted.
Awakening one's Tezhe also grants ease usage of the Aether World Mana to manipulate imagined spells.
These spells could be chanted or chantless, depending on the spell complexity, skill of the user, and the amount of Aether one has. Chantless consumes more Aether.
However, leveling and evolving your Tezhe would make your own Life Root more robust and rigid until eventually your whole body is conditioned to only use Aether in the way your Tezhe works.
Forming imagined spells outside your Tezhe ability becomes impossible.
Some factions exist focusing solely on ranking up Tezhe, Aether Spell manipulation, or a mix of both.
