Chapter 1003 The Shun family's rise

Three thick booklets, a large pile of white-colored spirit stones tinged with hints of gray, and a gigantic green vine all appeared in the previously empty courtyard of the Shun estate, drawing in gasps of cold air.

Almost instinctively, Shun Fang and the others all glanced at the enormous green vine first, before their gazes swept past the pile of middle-grade spirit stones and eventually settled on the three thick booklets.

The first booklet was hoary and timeworn, as if it had weathered the passage of time for countless eons, and yet, the dim silver light coming from its cover was still flickering with an inextinguishable gleam.

The second book seemed to be in a much better condition. It didn't look as ancient and frail as the first one, but the aura it emitted was just as intense. The soft white flames burning on its surface seemed eerily similar, and yet at the same time different from the first book's pale silver light.
