Miss Holmes, the Professor Is Not a Villain

0 – Reichenbach Falls

“So it comes to this after all.”

James Moriarty, the reincarnated professor, thought as he looked down at the waterfall, reminiscing about the time he faced Miss Holmes.

Unfortunately, the cool-headed detective opened her mouth.

“Please give up now, Professor.”

“Give up?”

Moriarty inadvertently sneered at Holmes. However, Holmes calmly spoke again.

“You taught me to live rationally, professor. So, I’m telling you this. You know it’s all over now, right? Please act rationally, professor.”

“Rationally?”

Miss Holmes shrugged her shoulders lightly. However, Moriarty was forced to take a step back towards the cliff, struck by her predatory gaze.

“Because of our frailty as human beings, we can’t help but have children in our quest for immortality. And it just so happens that you possess the intellect that I recognize, no, the intellect in all of Europe that is somewhat compatible with me. Considering the laws of genetics, it would be efficient for us to bear a child.”

“Ha!”

He laughed scornfully, but Holmes continued.

“I’m talking about the rational meaning. Of course, you being a criminal would end up in prison. But I can prevent the execution, in fact high-ranking people wouldn’t want that either. So you just need to focus on me, in a small prison that only I could enter, you just need to focus on me. I was a bit irritated by the fact that Irene Moriarty was by your side, but you’re compassionate, you had no relationship with Watson, so I can trust you. A chaste professor and a virgin detective bearing an exceptional child to continue the lineage, wouldn’t this be an efficient solution for society?”

He saw the flames of desire burning in Miss Holmes’ gaze. Yet, that made him scoff.

Perhaps he had expected this day to come. However, facing this ultimate end brought forth a bitter laugh.

At Reichenbach Falls, the renowned British detective, Miss Sherlock Holmes, and London’s premier criminal, Professor James Moriarty, were locked in a stare-off.
