Minecraft Kaisen

Player is unable to move. Unable to think. He just stands there unable to contemplate all that happened in the last few minutes. Losing to Choso, destroying BeaconTown as Herobrine, seeing Nanami die, and now Nobara. Mahito rushes to attack him with another sword. Player is unable to react and Mahito lands a critical hit on him. Player gets slammed into the wall from the impact.

Mahito: Even I am surprised by my talent. I am a true mob. I bet you thought it was going to be like pest control or monster hunting. We are monsters. We kill villagers and players so we must be evil. We are exterminating the monsters from this world. That's the mindset you had right? Don't be so naïve you punk!

He strikes him again.

Mahito: This is a war! You're the ones who keep killing us for living how we want to. How is it evil to kill if that's what were were made for? We were born to live that way. It isn't our fault. Killing is in our nature. So if it hurts others we should just stop? Why? You don't care when you kill us. And we should? You kill to save your kind right? Well, we fight to save our kind too. You thought you could beat us without even realizing that? You and I are the same Player. Just how you kill mobs without thinking. I kill players and villagers without thinking. So if we're doing it why not enjoy it? That's why I always try to make the most out of my kills. This war is for survival, not extermination.

He swings his sword to attack again but suddenly Player teleports away.

Mahito: Huh?

Todo: Get up brother. Our battle has just begun.

Player: …Todo…I can't…fight anymore. Nobara died. And Nanami too. Herobrine killed so many people. So I tried to help more people. But I failed. What I thought to be my conviction turned out to just be an excuse. I just can't anymore.

Mahito: Speak up. I can't hear you!

Mahito rushes towards Player to attack him but suddenly gets teleported away. He rushes to attack Todo but he switches places with him and Todo strikes him from behind.

Mahito: (Interesting.)

Todo: Brother. You should never feel down. We are players. All of us. You and I, Nobara and Nanami. All of our friends. We play to fight knowing the risks. It's a game. Anyone can die at any time. Yet they fight knowing that and give their all. They play with the risk which gives them thrill and makes the game more fun. So when they die, they aren't defeated. They do not lose. The moment we start playing the game, it's no longer about living or dying. It's about playing and enjoying. They win as long as they enjoy.

Player remembers Nobara's last words. 

Nobara: Player, tell this to everyone for me. Tell them, I enjoyed playing with them.

Todo: That is what's best about playing with others. When you play, you play together. And when a player dies, they entrust everything to their friends, knowing they will continue playing. Do not insult them by letting down what they entrusted to you. Stand up and fight. Complete what they started to give meaning to their gameplay.

Player remembers Nanami's last words.

Nanami: Player. I'll leave the rest to you.

Todo: We are players. We must continue the game no matter what.

Todo starts walking towards Mahito.

Mahito: Are you done talking?

Both of them rush towards each other. Mahito swings his sword towards him and Todo slides down and kicks him up. Mahito attempts to slash him from above but Todo dodges and strikes him. Mahito quickly attacks him but Todo teleports behind. Mahito immediately turns around to attack but Todo gets away.

Todo: What happened? Aren't you going to poison me?

Mahito: That's not all I do.

Todo gets attacked from behind by a slime, but he barely dodges that. Mahito uses this moment to attack him.

Mahito: (He will switch now. I know how his commands work now.)

Suddenly Todo switches with Player who prepares to attack.

Player: (Sorry Nanami. I almost quit. I will take care of things from here.)

He lands a critical hit on Mahito.

Todo walks up to Player.

Todo: Welcome back.

Player: Right.

Mahito rushes towards them with 2 swords. He blocks both of their attacks from each side and pushes them away. He attacks Todo who blocks both of the swords then as he pushes him away, he switches with Player who strikes Mahito. Mahito runs away and starts hiding behind walls. As Player runs after him, he suddenly gets attacked by 2 Mahitos. Player teleports away. Mahito then rushes after Todo who also teleports away. Player instantly teleports near Mahito and attacks him who blocks the hit. Player switches with Todo who attacks and Mahito again blocks the hit. Both of them keep switching and teleporting around him but Mahito becomes familiar with the pattern and blocks all of their attacks. He spawns multiple slimes to break their pattern.

Mahito: (This guy's teleportation is bothering me a lot. I'll kill him first using potions.)

Mahito spawns a giant slime and sends it after them. The 2 start running away from it. The slime splits into 2 and attacks them both individually, causing them to split up. Mahito then attacks Todo and throws multiple potions at him. He dodges all of them while running. Mahito runs after him with potions. Todo suddenly turns around and attacks Mahito who bends to dodge his attack and uses the momentum to attack him with potions but before he can throw them, Todo grabs both of his hands, pulls him towards him, and kicks him. Player also appears behind Todo.

Todo: (Player has grown stronger. A much better fighter. He has been able to land criticals now. That means I am the one who has been left behind now. Are you ok with that Todo? Are you going to leave your brother alone again? No. I must grow stronger to catch up to him as well.)

Todo hands Player an ender pearl. Player throws it toward Mahito.

Mahito: (An ender pearl when you can already teleport? I guess he wants to attack me by teleporting behind me while Player teleports with the ender pearl in front of me. I will attack the pearl before he teleports.)

Todo suddenly switches with the ender pearl. He attacks Mahito with the momentum of the ender pearl, stabbing him, and landing a critical hit on him.

Mahito: …

Mahito suddenly spawns a large number of slimes, which split further into more slimes, filling the entire area with them.

Todo: (He is filling the area with slimes, making teleportation pointless.)

Todo and Player try to defend themselves from all directions but slowly get overwhelmed. Todo then teleports both of them outside the station. They appear outside in BeaconTown. Mahito destroys the blocks below them and appears from the station along with the slimes.

Mahito: Don't think I'll let you go. This will be the last time we both fight Player! We will end this right here!

Todo: Are you excluding me?

Todo switches Player with Mahito and strikes him. Player also rushes towards them but Mahito again splits into 2. He escapes while the clone starts attacking them with 2 swords. Mahito spawns a villager, turns it into a zombie, and then gives it multiple potion effects. The enhanced zombie rushes to attack them. Todo switches the clone with Mahito and rushes to fight the zombie. He dodges its attacks but gets hit by another attack. The zombie lands multiple strikes on Todo. Todo teleports behind it and stabs it. The zombie gets away from him and again attacks him but Todo again teleports behind and stabs it, killing it.

Todo: It is not as smart so it can't adapt to my teleportation. This fight is making me use commands a lot. Though my limit is far beyond other players, I still might reach it if the fight continues.

He looks behind and sees 2 more enhanced zombies.

Todo: There are more?

Mahito: (I separated them. Now I'll deal with Player.)

He spawns multiple slimes and attacks him with them. Player dodges them from all directions and uses their bodies to jump on them and attack slimes from above. He then rushes towards Mahito and strikes him but Mahito blocks the hit, grabs his hand, and throws him away. Player lands inside the crater created by Jogo. Mahito rushes there but finds Todo standing there.

Todo: You really wanna exclude me?

Mahito: (Is it that hard to land a hit on this guy? But what if the attacks came from everywhere and there was nowhere to teleport. But if I use that Herobrine will burn me again. I will die if that happens.)

Mahito starts glitching.

Player: Todo, get away from here.

Player runs towards Mahito knowing if he is inside the glitched space, Herobrine will burn Mahito. But the space doesn't glitch. Instead, Mahito starts running towards Todo surprising both Player and Todo and strikes him before he can react, landing a critical hit.

Player: Todo!

Mahito: Why didn't you teleport away?

Todo: I have reached my limit. I can not use commands anymore.

Mahito: How fortunate.

Mahito rushes towards Todo to attack him. He prepares to throw a potion at him. Just as he reaches him Player suddenly switches with Todo and strikes Mahito, landing a critical hit.

Mahito: (What the hell? So he lied about reaching his limit. How did I get fooled by such a trick. I got hit by a critical.)

Player rushes towards Mahito.

Mahito: (Looks like I'll have to use one last trick.)

Mahito gives himself many potion effects. He then changes his form to a more slime-like body.

Player: What?

Mahito: Do you like it? It's my final form.

Both of them rush towards each other. Player attacks him with his sword but Mahito stabs his hand. Player gets away and then quickly strikes him in the stomach but the attack seems to bounce off his body, dealing less damage.

Player: (Huh? Not even slimes do that.)

Mahito strikes him and Player blocks the strike but is knocked back from the impact. Mahito instantly attacks him with another sword, slashing him. He then attacks Player with consecutive strikes. Player despite blocking most of them, gets hit a few times. He lands multiple hits on Mahito but they all do reduced damage. Mahito pushes him with his body, bouncing him away.

Player: (To defeat him. I'll have to hit him with another critical.)

Mahito rushes towards Player and Player readies to strike him. Suddenly Mahito gets away from Player just before he can strike.

Mahito: (No one can land a critical at will. But Player right now is making me think he can. If I take one more critical, I'm done for.)

He again rushes towards him and attacks him but Player dodges and tries to strike him. Mahito instantly gets away. He then rushes towards him again and Player prepares to strike him. Suddenly Todo appears.

Todo: Player, let's switch.

Mahito Instantly turns around and attacks with his sword but finds no one there.

Mahito: (Huh?)

Todo: Unfortunately, I really reached my limit this time.

Before he could react, Player strikes him from behind, landing a critical hit. Mahito is knocked back from the impact and reverts to his original form. Player stands in front of him.

Player: I admit it Mahito. I am you. I always wanted to deny that. I didn't want to agree with you. But now it's different. I will kill you. If the world glitches again and you are reborn. I will kill you again. If you take the form of a new mob I will find you and I will kill you. In this war, survival means extermination. And I will exterminate you. Not to survive, but to kill you. Because I want to kill you. I don't need any meaning for that. I will keep killing mobs as much as I can.

Scared of Player, Mahito starts running away screaming. Player chases after him. He falls while running and suddenly sees a player standing in front of him.

Mahito: Alex!
