"Stop it, you idiot! Are you trying to make me cry with that?" Lucian laughs, realising why Callum brought him here without a word. But his memories of his predecessor prove that he was a miser. He believed in sleeping through illnesses rather than going to the apothecary to buy medicine.

this kind of idiot would be stressful for anyone.

But anyway knowing he had a good friend in this new world made Lucian want to jump on Callum and hug him, because he didn't know how else to thank him. But when he tried to do so, his body nearly grabbed onto himself, as if to say 'bastard, at least let me heal properly, okay.'

"Well, there's nothing wrong if you cry. Who knows, your miserliness might wash away with those tears." Callum said smiling as he saw Lucien laughing. He didn't want to lose a good friend of his just because of his petty habits. "Anyway, shall we go to the apothecary now? And yes, I told Miss Diana about your condition yesterday evening, so if she arrives here and starts asking too many questions, I apologise beforehand."

"Is Aunt Diana here too? But her perfume shop is on the main street of the city? So why is she here, when she might lose business?" Lucian asked impatiently. since Diana was the woman who helped him grow up with his poor non existent family upbringing trouble.

At first she was very kind, even gentle, but as he grew up, her love and kindness began to go in a different direction, though It would be too much to call it obsession, 'But why do i feel sign of obsession in those memories regarding her.'

"What are you talking about, Lucy? she's clearly worried about you which is why she had came here. Come on, you can't stand in the hot sun for too long with those open wounds," Callum said quickly, noticing the obvious hesitation on Lucian's face, and pulled him into the old-fashioned apothecary's shop.

This area is for soldier training, so it's not that busy unless there's a tournament or something going on.

However, the old-looking apothecary in the same direction didn't seem to be doing very well either, there were few people passing by, and most importantly, he didn't even know that there was such a apothecary here. So when Callum brought him here, Lucian had no idea where he was being taken.

Now, they both stop in front of the old door of this rustic looking apothecary shop and then Callum knocks on the door twice, raising his hand while smiling at Lucien, "Miss Angela, I've brought my friend."

After waiting for a while, the old wooden door slid open with a rustling sound, and a woman appeared before him, and Lucian's heart skipped a beat at the sight of her.

The woman had long black hair, long black eyebrows that accentuated the beauty of her deer-like eyes, and the two earrings in her ear-lobe moved slowly, as if they were moving in the breeze.

"Um, if you are done looking, shall we go inside?" Callum, noticing his friend staring at Miss Angela, immediately starts teasing him; to which lucian realises that he was staring too much at Miss Angela, so he pretends to clear his throat and says, "Sorry about that, I was lost in your beauty for a second."

Well, if he was still on Earth, he would have not used this buttery line for his entire life, but since this world is very different from Earth, he takes a risk and his predecessor was also very good at saying such things.

Lucian ultimately gets to see the reaction to his words, but it wasn't what he expected.

With a slight blush on her cheeks, Angela simply nodded and went inside, while Callum, who had been staring at him, let out a long laugh and asked, "We're here to get treat you, right? either way, if you want to propose to my sister-in-law, that's fine i won't mind standing outside, allowing you to go inside alone."

"Sister-in-law? Whose sister-in-law? Stop joking and help me walk in." Lucian said, looking at Calum with no reaction on his face.

"Tch… that's a boring response." Callum puffed out his cheeks, but helped Lucian walk in the apothecary anyway.

As soon as they both step into this small looking apothecary, the smell of a mixture of herbs and medicines attacks their noses, smelling which Callum immediately closes his nose, but Lucian on the other hand finds this smell strange but nice.

This shop, which looks small from the outside, is divided into three parts. The first part is a small hall with a rectangular table. Behind the table is a small wooden shelf with many porcelain bottles on it. There are two closed doors on each side of the wooden shelf.

Angela, who was standing in front of the shelf, had her eyes downcast for a moment.

But as Lucian and Callum walked in, she turned towards the shelf and after looking at the porcelain vials for a while, she took two vials from the shelf and placed them on the table in front of her, then looked at Lucian and said, "I'm going to treat your wounds, so please take off your shirt." her eyes suddenly brimming with resolve.

Lucian, who thought that Miss Angela was a little shy by nature, gets a little surprised to see this new side of her, but then bringing a smile on his lips, he hands over his sword to Callum and takes off his loose white shirt, but after taking off the shirt, he cannot stop himself from cursing Adam in his mind after seeing what he had done to his poor predecessor, "Damn bastard, who attack like this for false accusations, you son of a pig."

On the other hand, Angela, who was in her professional mode and was avoiding thinking about the compliment given by Lucian, now seeing the small wounds of the sword here and there on Lucian body, puts her hand on her mouth, because she had never seen such brutality, although it was a different matter that she had treated only minor diseases till now.

"These wounds will heal quickly, won't they Miss Angela?" Lucian asks, reading Angela's expressions and then looks at Callum, who is also focused on his wounds, and felt that he might be thinking about the official hunt that is scheduled for three days later.

But before Miss Angela can respond, the door to the apothecary swings open and a woman dressed in provocative red dress walks in and immediately says, "Callum, didn't I tell you to bring him to the apothecary on the main thoroughfare of the city, and yet you brought him here."
