Chapter 1: 1: Rebirth In A Strange World
It was peaceful.
Did I die?
The thought lingered as I floated between the edges of consciousness and oblivion. Sukuna... did we defeat him? My memories were murky, fragmented with images of the battle. Yuji's face flashed before me-his expression desperate, determined. Was he crying? I couldn't tell. The pain gnawed at me, but the details slipped away, just out of reach. I vaguely recalled Yuta's voice, a steady presence as he guided me through the cursed energy storm.
Did we win?
The silence pressed in around me, cold and heavy like a void. No grand farewell, huh? Figures. Maybe they sealed me away, thinking I was too dangerous, a weapon to be used later. The thought amused me in a bitter way. A proper ending was too much to ask for.
My chest heaved suddenly, and I gasped, jolting awake as if I'd been drowning. I lay sprawled on a cold, hard floor in a room I didn't recognize. The sharp taste of poison lingered on my lips, and the realization sent a jolt through my system. What was this place? Dim lights flickered above me, casting harsh shadows across the sterile white walls.
I forced myself up, my limbs trembling slightly from the shock of being awake again. This wasn't the battlefield. It wasn't the afterlife either. My head pulsed with questions, but nothing made sense. Where was I?
My heart raced as I scanned the room. It was clinical, impersonal. I could feel something, a familiar but off-beat sensation of energy. It wasn't cursed energy-no, this felt... different. Like a distant echo of the power I once wielded. It stirred beneath my skin, ready to awaken, but constrained somehow.
I chuckled to myself. "Reincarnated, huh? Is this my punishment for being too cool in my last life?" I was in my Jujutsu high uniform.
I stood, brushing off imaginary dust from my clothes. My reflection caught my eye in a nearby mirror. White hair, blue eyes-yeah, still me.
"Whoever you were," I muttered, "I'm sorry, but it looks like we're sharing this ride now."
I stepped toward the door, feeling the limits of this new world around me. My cursed technique stirred beneath the surface, ready to stretch, but there were new rules here. A quirked eyebrow and a grin tugged at my lips. Limitless and Six Eyes were still mine, but I'd have to figure put where am I.
"Guess it's time to make an entrance," I mused. A new world means new fun.
I threw the door open, stepping into a hallway that looked like it belonged in some school. This wasn't just reincarnation-this was something entirely different.
---
As I strolled down the hall, the remnants of past memories faded, and the reality of this world began to settle in. I could hear distant voices, youthful and full of energy. A school for heroes, huh? I smirked to myself. Heroes, villains-none of that mattered to me. All that mattered was having fun.
With a grin, I put my hands in my pockets and strolled confidently into this new life. "Alright, new world-let's see what you've got."
"But let's go back to the room and see who I am now," Akira muttered to herself, walking toward the mirror.
She studied her reflection closely. "Sooo... this girl looks exactly like me, but shorter. What is she, 170 cm? I miss being 180 cm!" she groaned.
Then, a mischievous smirk crept onto her face. "But she's only 15. I can still grow plenty tall, heh. How can she look exactly like me, though? Did I change her appearance? Maybe... her body wasn't capable of handling my power. That could be it. But why was I reincarnated in the first place?" she wondered, crossing her arms.
Akira glanced around and found a notebook on the table. Flipping through the pages, she raised an eyebrow. "Her name was Akari Gojo too? Interesting... Maybe the body couldn't handle my abilities, so it transformed to match me instead. Well, that's a lucky break." She sighed in relief.
Curious, she grabbed the phone lying next to the notebook. "Whoa, it's my phone! And... my money's still here!" She nearly jumped for joy, but her excitement quickly fizzled when she checked her contacts. "No contacts... great," she muttered, her mood sinking.
She sat at the dining table, resting her chin in her hand, lost in thought. "Yuji, Yuta, Megumi, Nobara, Inumaki, Maki, and Panda... they were like my kids. I could've adopted them. Well, at least three of them. Like they'd agree," she chuckled softly.
"But even though they didn't always show it, they liked me. Yuji, Nobara, Yuta, and Miwa were never shy about it, but the rest... they had their own ways of caring." A small, fond smile played on her lips as she reminisced.
"I hope Megumi got my letter. I should have told him about Toji earlier".
Shaking herself out of her thoughts, Akira scrolled through the phone. "So the powers here are called 'Quirks' she saw news on her phone. A headline caught her eye: "UA High: Where Heroes Are Made." She read the article aloud, "UA, huh? A school that trains heroes. And All Might is a teacher there?"
She scoffed. "Doesn't he have better things to do than teach kids? Even as the Number One Hero..." she paused, then facepalmed. "Wait, I was the same in my past life. Hypocrisy at its finest."
Her eyes lit up with excitement. "Should I give it a try? They've got an entrance exam in a month. That sounds... fun. Yeah, I'll give it a shot. But first, I should get to training." She stood up, already feeling the familiar itch to test her limits.
"But before that," she added with a smirk, "let's explore the city and learn more about this girl's life. After all, I've got a new world to conquer."
Akira Gojo stepped out of her room, already adjusting to the peculiarities of this new world. She could feel the presence of powerful individuals, not cursed energy but something more structured, almost refined-quirks. The world's energy system was different, but nothing she couldn't handle.
Her thoughts raced as she walked down the street. "UA High, huh?" She smirked to herself, recalling the article she'd read earlier. A school for heroes... It reminded her of the Jujutsu High in her previous life. But here, there were no cursed spirits, no Sukuna lurking in the shadows. It was a different playground, and she was eager to dive in.
People bustled around her, seemingly ordinary but exuding potential. Every now and then, she caught glimpses of quirks in action-flashes of light, people lifting heavy objects with ease, and other minor displays of power. In a world where quirks were the norm, it was clear that standing out would require something more.
She wandered into a nearby park, scanning the area for any potential training grounds. The trees rustled in the breeze, and she noticed a few kids practicing their quirks, their laughter filling the air. She couldn't help but grin at their innocence. "They don't know what real power looks like," she muttered.
With her hands in her pockets, she found an open area and stretched a bit, feeling the limitations of this new body. "Alright, let's see how much of my technique I can still use." She activated Limitless, feeling the familiar sensation of control over space around her. The air felt thicker, heavier under her command.
Akira extended her hand, testing the boundaries of her cursed technique in this new world. The energy flowed, not quite as strong as it had been, but still there-coiled and ready to strike when needed. She snapped her fingers, and a small barrier flickered into existence around her. The control was still there, but the limits had changed.
"Not bad for a reincarnated sorcerer," she mused, grinning as she lowered her hand.
Suddenly, she heard a voice behind her. "Hey! That was cool! How'd you do that?"
Akira turned to see a young boy, wide-eyed and brimming with curiosity. He had a quirk, something to do with speed, judging by how quickly he'd appeared. She raised an eyebrow, not used to people approaching her so casually. "Just a little trick," she said nonchalantly.
The boy grinned. "You should come to UA! You'd totally pass the exam with skills like that!"
UA again. It seemed like fate was pushing her toward that school. "Maybe I will," she replied, ruffling the boy's hair before turning to leave.
As she walked away, she thought about the upcoming exam. "I'll show them what real power is," she whispered to herself, already feeling the excitement building. She knew she'd be up against people with incredible quirks, but that only made the challenge more enticing.
The world had changed, but Akira Gojo was still herself-reckless, powerful, and always looking for the next thrill. This time, it would be in a world of heroes. "Let's see what kind of fun this new life has in store for me," she said with a grin, already plotting her next move.
UA High was just the beginning.
A/N: So this chapter is a little short. Maybe it will go on until she enter UA. I guess. Hope you enjoy it. This chapter is like a baclstory and tell you what exactly is going on.
