Itadori put the cup down.
He was carrying an unconscious girl on the street, enduring the suspicious stares of passersby who likely mistook him for a kidnapper. He also attracted the attention of a few heroes, always eager to meddle in anything that looked remotely suspicious.
Enduring the constant pain in his body, Momo asked hesitantly, "Um… Itadori, how many times have you been to… that kind of place?"
"Do you… remember how many slices of bread you've eaten so far?" He replied with a smirk.
Momo, "..."
"Well then, Itadori, what's next?"
Itadori glanced at her thoughtfully, "The activation time of your Quirk is really too slow. You need to find a way to improve it. You can follow my advice, but that's up to you."
If Momo could wield her Quirk more effectively, she wouldn't find herself in such tough situations. Creating something as simple as a dagger was taking her nearly ten seconds—enough time for even a Quirkless person to come up and punch her.
Feeling slightly ashamed, Momo fell silent. She had originally wanted to suggest going shopping for new clothes, but after Itadori's serious answer, she felt her own concerns seemed shallow in comparison.
Being a hero meant learning to adapt and grow tougher, even if that required some sacrifices.
"Thank you so much for today, Itadori. You've helped me a lot."
Momo stood up, bowed politely to him, and continued, "I've decided to go home and brush up on my knowledge, then come back and train with your guidance."
Her Quirk, "Creation," required her to understand the inner structure of an object to replicate it efficiently, meaning that increasing her knowledge could speed up her creation time.
Itadori gave her a look that was a mix of exhaustion and apathy. He didn't dislike being surrounded by women, but this situation wasn't quite what he had in mind.
"Then I'll head back now. Do you want to come with me?" Momo asked, having grown more comfortable addressing him by his name.
"No, I still need to 'train.'"
"Got it. I'll see you around then." She replied, leaving with a new resolve to improve herself and her Quirk.
Not long after Momo left, Itadori walked out of the restaurant. As he looked around, he noticed the streets were filling with students in school uniforms. He glanced at his watch—8:35.
Suddenly, a deafening roar erupted from the direction of the tram bridge. As people turned to look, the crowd began gathering toward the source of the sound.
"Is it a Quirk crime?" Itadori wondered. That was usually the only thing that caused this level of chaos.
As he moved closer, he saw a towering, monstrous man over ten meters tall, who had transformed into a beast-like alien. The monster was furiously smashing nearby utility poles, railroad tracks, and buildings around the tram bridge.
Pro-heroes, Death Arms and Fire Buster, had arrived but could barely contain the monster. It was clear that their Quirks and strength were only delaying the destruction.
Kamui Woods then arrived, attempting to subdue the rampaging villain with his reliable but somewhat outdated Quirk. Just as he seemed poised to finish the job, Mount Lady appeared, her giant form kicking the villain hard.
The crowd gasped in shock at the sudden turn of events, and even Kamui Woods looked momentarily stunned. Itadori suddenly remembered that this incident bore resemblance to something Izuku Midoriya had experienced at the start of the original story.
But it seemed that either due to a small miscalculation on Mount Lady's part or perhaps an unintended consequence, the villain, after being kicked, began to tilt backward toward the crowd.
Midoriya was at the very front of the onlookers, his eyes wide with shock, his mind frozen as the enormous figure fell toward him.
He was going to be crushed!
At that exact moment, a golden figure shot across the sky, as swift and strong as All Might. There was a deafening *boom* as the air around the figure exploded with force, creating a shockwave that stung the faces of onlookers.
The giant villain was knocked backward, his huge form landing hard onto the bridge, making the ground tremble in the area.
For a few moments, everyone stood in stunned silence.
Then, Mount Lady scratched her head and laughed nervously, "Uh… Sorry about that. I guess that was my fault."
The crowd's attention was immediately drawn away from her, though, as they tried to locate the mysterious savior in the crowd.
Kamui Woods shouted at Death Arms, "Hey! Was that you?"
Death Arms shook his head in amazement, "No… I don't have that much power. Whoever did that has strength comparable to Endeavor!" His gaze turned to the crowd, his brow furrowed in suspicion, "Who was it? Whoever did this has a powerful Quirk."
Midoriya, still clutching his notebook, thought back to the golden figure that had appeared and saved everyone, "Itadori... "

At Aldera junior High, today was the day for announcing graduation choices.
Sitting at his desk, Midoriya glanced toward the back row, recalling the incident at the tram bridge, his thoughts drifting back to Itadori.
"Itadori… What's on your mind?" He wondered silently.
Just then, their homeroom teacher entered, holding a stack of volunteer forms.
"We're close to the end of the school year, which means it's time to talk about your future paths." He said with a grin, "Though, I'm pretty sure everyone here wants to enter the hero course, right?"
"Yeah!!" The class cheered, many students showing off their Quirks in enthusiasm.
Only two students sat quietly: Bakugo Katsuki and Midoriya Izuku.
Bakugo smirked arrogantly, his legs crossed on the desk, "I don't want to be lumped in with these 'weaklings,' teacher!"
His comment immediately angered his classmates, but the homeroom teacher spoke over the uproar, "Bakugo, I see you applied to U.A. High School."
The class fell silent, exclamations quickly following.
Bakugo jumped onto his desk, declaring his ambition, but then the teacher dropped another announcement, "Oh, and Midoriya's applying to U.A. as well."
The class burst into laughter.
"A Quirkless guy? U.A.? You're joking!"
Desperate, Midoriya mumbled, "No, I can still apply for the General Department or Support—"
But Bakugo suddenly leaped onto Midoriya's desk, glaring down at him, "You, a Quirkless nobody, trying to compete with me? Pathetic."
At that moment, the teacher seemed to remember something, "Oh, and Itadori has already been accepted into U.A."
The class fell into a hushed awe, students whispering in astonishment.
Bakugo clenched his fists, his Quirk sparking furiously, "That twin-tailed bastard! Just wait—I'll settle the score with him once I'm in U.A.!"
Midoriya, equally shocked, clenched his fists under the desk, "So… Itadori is going to U.A., too."
