MHA: The One Who Laughs

Chapter 16: The Planning

Inside the prison, a man with long dark wavy hair sat at the corner of the cell looking outside the hallway. He wore an orange shirt, and at the back, it says, "126."

After a while, prisoner 126 heard footsteps outside the cell, and a guard appeared. The guard mocked him and said, "Warden's looking for you."

He opened the door and entered the cell. Souta Fujimoto stood up and stared at the man as he was handcuffed, "What does he want with me?"

The guard pushed him outside, "I don't know, and I don't care. Keep moving, you criminal."

Making their way to the warden's office, the guard stopped outside and knocked. He opened the door, shoved Souta inside, and closed the door. Inside, Souta stared at the warden, who sat on the chair.

The chair turned around and revealed a man with makeup smiling at Souta. Souta's body stiffened, "You're not the warden."

Joker chuckled, "No, I'm not."

Hearing the confirmation, Souta readied himself for a fight, even if handcuffed. However, he soon calmed down when Joker continued, "Relax, I won't harm you."

"What do you want?" asked Souta.

"I want you to work for me. I'll get you out of this place, and you'll have your freedom once more."

Intrigued, Souta asked, "What exactly will we be doing?"

"You know! Villain stuff!"

Souta raised an eyebrow at Joker's antics. He didn't know who Joker was, as the prison was cut off from the rest of the world, and all news was hidden from them.

Joker placed a small earphone on the table and said, "If you want to join us, take this and go. We'll have three more others."

Souta looked at the device and took it with him. He stood up and opened the door and said, "Thank you, warden."

Joker smiled and took the radio once more and said, "Bring me prisoner 523."

After waiting for a few minutes, Joker heard a loud voice from outside, "Let me go! I said let me go, you bastard!"

The door opened, and the two guards threw Ren Ishikawa inside the room. When the door closed, the 5'5" man stood up while massaging his butt. He looked around and our eyes met, "Who the hell are you?! Guard! Please, let me out!"

His voice soon stopped when he heard a click behind him. He turned around and saw Joker smiling at him while pointing a pistol at him.

Ren quickly stopped and sighed. He walked towards the chair in front of Joker's table and sat down.

"What do you want, Joker?"

Surprised, Joker asked, "You know me?"

Ren smirked and said, "Of course! I'm a good, well-mannered, handsome, and tall prisoner, so they let me have new papers. Even if they don't, I just steal 'em."

Joker laughed, "Good, good, good!"

Ren shivered, "God, you're creepy! I hate clowns, you know, they don't even look funny, just creepy."

"Well, too bad, because I might be your only way out of here."

Ren raised an eyebrow then chuckled, "I'm only here for another month. So if you're planning on trying to break me out, then my answer would be no. I'd rather wait the month instead of having another ten years."

Joker smiled, "What if we were to earn ten million dollars when you get out?"

Ren froze and looked at Joker. He gulped and said, "A-Are you serious?"

"Hahahahaha! Don't you already know who I am? I robbed a bank and robbed a military base."

Ren became skeptical, "So we're gonna rob a bank? Banks don't even have that much."

Joker stood up and placed a map on the table. He pointed at two different points and said, "These are three large banks, only a twenty-minute drive from each other. We can easily rob these three today."

Ren scoffed, "How the hell are you gonna rob those in one day? All the heroes would be on our asses the moment we rob a bank."

Joker took out a marker and drew a circle on the prison they were at. He smiled and said, "Distraction. We can make a distraction using the prison. If we let out all the villains, we can easily make a distraction that will pull nearly all the heroes in this city."

Joker stopped and pulled out four bombs. He placed them on the table. He walked towards one of the cabinets and took another map, "Place the bombs here, here, here, and here."

Joker pointed at four key points that would allow them to create a distraction and one to open up the other cells.

Joker continued, "We'll be leaving, the two of us. Three other guys will create chaos throughout the prison while the prisoners try to get out of the prison while causing destruction. While they make a mess, the two of us will be robbing three banks."

Ren gulped, and his hands became sweaty. He thought about the money, and adrenaline rushed throughout his body.

"Let's do it!"

Ren raised his right hand, which suddenly enlarged. A black hole opened at the center of his palms, which he used to store all the bombs.

He stood up, and Joker informed him, "I'll tell the others. Pack up, you'll be out tonight."

Joker walked towards the dead warden and took his pen. He signed a paper that allowed Ren to be released early and handed it to Ren.

Ren walked out with a smug look and handed it to one of the guards. The guard looked skeptical at first, but Joker's voice rang out inside the room, "It's real. Now go!"

Once Ren was released, Joker called out the last two, Goro Yamamoto and Jack Thompson. Jack was easy to fool, but Goro was stubborn. But after Joker said he would get to fight Endeavor once more, he immediately agreed.

Once everything was in place, Joker got out of the building and entered his car where Ren was waiting.

"What bank are we robbing first, boss?"

Joker smiled.
