Chapter 65: Pro Hero Deku x Y/N Part 2

The sun dipped below the horizon, casting a warm glow throughout the bustling city of Musutafu. In a cozy apartment nestled above her agency, Y/N watched the news with a cup of tea cradled in her hands. The television screen flickered with images of her favorite pro hero, Izuku Midoriya — a young man with green hair and a determination that inspired all who watched him.

Weeks had passed since that fateful day when Izuku saved her from the edge of the building. In the aftermath, they shared a dinner filled with laughter, stories, and an unspoken bond that made Y/N's heart race. She had poured all her creativity and skills into his new hero costume — a sleek, vibrant outfit adorned with clever support items that enhanced his Quirk, One For All, while protecting him from harm.

Suddenly, the TV screen blared with excitement as a reporter spoke frantically, "We're live in downtown Musutafu, where pro hero Deku has just finished his patrol! Let's hear what he has to say about his incredible new upgrades!"

Y/N leaned forward, her heart racing. There was something thrilling about seeing her work recognized, especially by someone she admired so deeply. The camera zoomed in on Izuku, who stood surrounded by flashbulbs and eager faces—fans, reporters, and paparazzi clamored, all eager for a glimpse of their hero.

"Deku! How did you get your new upgrades?"

"Do they make you stronger?"

"Who designed your new costume?"

Y/N's heart swelled as she watched Izuku beam. "Well, uh…" he stammered, rubbing the back of his neck, "I have a good friend named Y/N to thank for these upgrades. They really put their heart into making this for me, and it's made a world of difference!"

The words "good friend" echoed through Y/N's mind, but as she watched him speak, his smile lit up the screen. The warmth spreading through her was undeniable.

As she heard the reporters erupt into a frenzy, Y/N felt her cheeks heat up. The pride of knowing that Deku appreciated her work and had mentioned her to the world sent butterflies fluttering in her stomach. She couldn't help but smile, realizing how much his happiness affected her own.

Later that evening, Y/N remained in her agency, surrounded by sketches, fabric swatches, and blueprints of potential new support items for heroes. The clock ticked past midnight, yet she tirelessly worked on designs, fueled by the joy from earlier. Lost in her thoughts, she almost missed the quiet sound of her door creaking open.

"Y/N?" a familiar voice called softly.

Startled, she whipped around to find Izuku standing in the doorway, a hint of nervousness shining through his bright eyes. "Izuku! What are you doing here?" Her heart skipped a beat in surprise; she had no idea he would drop by.

"I… uh, I wanted to talk," he said, stepping inside and closing the door behind him.

"Of course! Is something wrong?" she asked, her concern mingled with excitement.

"No, no, nothing's wrong," he rushed to assure her. "It's just… well, it's about the costume and, um… us."

As he trailed off, Y/N felt a flutter of anticipation. "What do you mean?"

Izuku took a deep breath, his brow furrowing in determination. "Since that day we met… when I saved you, I've been feeling something different. Every time I see you work so hard, every time you smile or laugh… it just makes me really happy. I think I'm starting to have feelings for you."

Y/N's heart raced. Time seemed to stand still as she processed his words. She had feared that her heart would lead her into dangerous territory. "Izuku, I… I feel the same way!" she finally admitted, her cheeks blazing.

Relief washed over his features, and a radiant smile broke free. "Really? You do?"

"Yes! From the moment we met, I've found myself thinking about you more than I'd like to admit," Y/N confessed, her voice barely above a whisper.

Izuku stepped closer, a mixture of shyness and eagerness in his eyes. "Then… would you like to go out with me? Like a real date?"

All of the tension and anticipation of the past weeks coalesced into a simple but profound moment; Y/N could only nod, a soft smile breaking across her face. "I'd love that, Izuku."

As they stood together, the world outside continued to spin, but in that moment, it was just the two of them, ready to embark on an adventure fueled by well-crafted armor and heartfelt connections—a bond stronger than any costume he could wear.
