Chapter 63: Beginning of Turmoil
In the morning, as usual, he went out to school with Kendo.
The morning was the time Kendo loved the most since she could be with him until they reached the school.
Oh, a night, too, since it was more exciting than the morning, especially on weekdays.
Unfortunately, all of those things will be for Ibara when the weekend comes.
Naturally, she was sad, but the moment she entered this relationship, she understood that he couldn't be hers alone, and she accepted it. She looked at his side profile before leaning on his shoulder as they held hands.
"Are you sleepy?"
"No, I just want to do this. Can I?"
He looked at Kendo for a moment and kissed her forehead naturally. "Sure." He wanted to say the school was still far away, so she could do whatever she wanted, but he was afraid it would give a different meaning to her.
The words were a powerful thing, and it was also dangerous.
One word was enough to cause a misunderstanding.
Naturally, it was better to say a few words, so no misunderstanding would happen.
"If speaking is silver, then listening is gold."
He applied this sentence well in his life and asked her about many things, which she happily told him.
If he said the words in his mind, he was afraid they might be caught for disturbing the public with a lewd act.
While they talked, naturally, they noticed many people who glanced at him with a sigh, feeling jealous, but what could they do?
He noticed their gazes on them, but he knew that a hero was someone that would be standing at the center of attention. They were the center of the crowd, yet on certain occasions, there was a time when they wanted to be left alone. He knew he should get used to the attention, but sometimes he was tired.
"Should I get a bicycle?" He suddenly thought.
"You're going to get a bicycle?" Kendo was surprised.
"Or a motorcycle?"
"Oh! A motorcycle is better!"
He looked at Kendo, who got excited with a smile. He knew that, unlike most girls who loved flowers, ate at fancy restaurants, and heard love words, she loved something cool and manly, and a motorcycle happened to be one of them.
Some people might have been put off by her, but when he decided to date Ibara, who was passionate about her religion, his tolerance toward girls' personalities was quite high.
As long as their hobby or personalities didn't challenge his bottom line, he was mostly okay with anything.
Honestly, Kendo's hobby was tame, and it was kind of cute to see her excitement over a motorcycle.
"Okay, okay, let's talk about this later tonight. Tell me which brands and types are good."
"Leave that to me!"
When the bus stopped, the two walked together, but they didn't see Ibara, Kodai, Yanagi, or any others, but it was normal since even if they were often together, it was impossible for them to go out together all the time. However, even if they couldn't meet each other in the morning, they could meet each other at lunch.
This also allowed him to meet all the female students and know a few guys in the 1-B Class.
While he knew it was rude for him to think so, he felt the students in the 1-B class lacked a personality, but he definitely wouldn't say this out loud and kept it inside his heart.
'Or are many students in the 1-A Class just weird?'
As they walked, they naturally saw a group of journalists at the entrance of the Yuuei.
"It's a group of journalists again... how troublesome." He had noticed a group of journalists before, but they were all restrained and hiding, so they weren't noticeable, but now they were like a pack of hyenas waiting for their target to come out.
"Are they coming for you?" Kendo asked curiously and only noticed the group of journalists since all her eyes were only on him.
"Of course not." He was speechless. "The reason they stand there is obvious. Everything is because of All-Might."
Who was the one who could attract the most attention in this country?
Prime minister?
Most popular actor?
Singer?
No, it is All Might.
As long as his name was on the news, the traffic was crazy.
Especially those fanboys.
As long as there was a video related to All-Might thousands, those fanboys would watch that video thousands of times, which was why most of All-Might's videos had hundreds of millions of viewers.
"His popularity is crazy..." Kendo sighed.
"You say that again." Mineta also sighed since he felt All-Might was a source of trouble.
Many villains had been caught by All-Might, and the fact that everyone knew that he became a teacher in Yuuei would naturally attract their attention.
He might not be surprised if there was a villain who wanted to do revenge on All-Might hiding among this group of journalists. He looked at the group of journalists, and his eyes were attracted to an unkempt figure with plain all-black clothes and red sneakers. He glanced at him for a moment, staring in his direction, before he was surrounded by journalists.
"Ah, hello, can I trouble you for a while? What do you think of All-Might?"
The journalist was excited since she didn't expect to see someone as handsome as him.
His lips twitched before lying naturally as he breathed. "I'm sorry, we're in a hurry since we're almost late for morning duty."
Then, he hurriedly left with Kendo.
"Do you have morning duty?" Kendo asked curiously when they were able to escape. She might not tell him, but she deliberately slowed down the time to go to the school, so they wouldn't meet Ibara, Kodai, or others but that way, she could be with him longer.
Knowing that he had morning duty, she couldn't help but feel guilty.
"No."
"You lie?"
"Yes." He nodded and said, "If I don't say that, they will pester us." He then realized something and asked, "Or do you want to talk with them?"
"No." Kendo shook her head since she didn't want to talk to the journalist either. She thought of something and sighed, "By the way, your class is lucky you're being taught by All-Might."
"Huh?" He was surprised and asked, "All-Might didn't teach your class?"
"No."
"....."
He felt that All-Might was really biased, but what could he say?
He was All-Might.
Who would talk badly about him?
Still, All-Might was also a human, so it was natural for him to be imperfect, and being biased was just a small problem compared to the problem in this world.
"Well, All-Might isn't young anymore, but the Pro-Hero in your class isn't bad either, right?"
"That's true."
While they talked, they suddenly noticed another unkempt man staring in their direction.
No, it was in his direction.
"Good morning, Aizawa-sensei." He greeted this man politely.
"Good morning." Aizawa nodded before he looked at Kendo.
"She's Kendo Itsuka from the 1-B Class," Mineta introduced Kendo without any change in his emotion. "Itsuka, he is my homeroom teacher, Aizawa-sensei."
"Good morning, Aizawa-sensei." Kendo also greeted Aizawa politely.
"Good morning." Aizawa nodded once again. He might have focused on efficiency and ignored everything that would be a waste of his time. He could see that Mineta and Kendo were so close, and he wouldn't be surprised if they were dating. For him, dating was a waste of time, and he felt it was better for Mineta to focus on his study.
However, scolding and talking about this matter was also a waste of time, so he didn't say anything and just greeted them succinctly. He also wasn't someone who would force his opinion and way of life on his students, so he didn't say anything as long as Mineta didn't cause trouble, and his result was always good.
"Sensei, those journalists..."
"Don't worry. I am here to take care of them." Aizawa cut Mineta's words.
"Is that so? I will see you in class later. Let's go, Itsuka." He didn't bother to talk with Aizawa any longer since he knew what kind of man his teacher was.
"Okay." Kendo nodded before she greeted Aizawa once again and left while holding his hand secretly.
"Aizawa-sensei is going to see us..." Mineta was speechless by her bold action.
Kendo laughed. "What? Are you scared?"
"...Watch your mouth, girl."
Sometimes he realized this girl loved to play with danger.
Aizawa turned at them for a while before he walked to the journalists, saying one or two words before he left.
".........."
Mineta didn't leave the class but watched Aizawa for a while before feeling speechless. Still, what surprised him was how the gate of Yuuei would close suddenly when the journalists tried to enter forcefully. It was his first time seeing this, and he understood why this school had become one of the places with the highest security in the world.
'I wonder which has better security, this place or the Federal Reserve's vault.'
He didn't bother to stay and walk, but Kendo said, "Your teacher is unique..." It was her first time seeing Aizawa, and she could tell how strict this teacher was. However, she couldn't say much about her teacher since her teacher wasn't normal either.
"But he isn't a bad teacher."
"Well, my teacher is like that."
"Right?" He rubbed Kendo's hair dotingly for a moment before they parted. "Alright, see you later."
"See you." Kendo was in a good mood and didn't realize her feet skipped along the way.
While he wasn't sure how they would be in the future, he felt it was too early to think about this matter. However, even if it took him an eternity to think, he might not be able to find the answer to how to handle this relationship, yet for now, he felt this wasn't bad.
This situation wasn't bad, but he knew the darkness was about to loom out from its hiding place, shrouding his being and waiting to swallow him whole.
However, before that time, before his punishment came, he was going to try his best to find the best solution for the three of them.
"Good morning, everyone."
He entered the class and greeted everyone.
"Morning!"
"Mineta, look at this magazine!"
"Hey, don't bring the magazine to school!"
In class, everyone was noisy, but they turned quiet instantly when Aizawa came. While they might act unruly, they became docile cats in front of Aizawa. However, it became noisy again when Aizawa said something unexpected.
"We need to pick a class president," Aizawa said calmly and efficiently.
"Finally, something school-like!"
