Chapter 93: Hideout Raid Arc (1)

~Third POV~

[Day 4, UA Highschool, Conference Room, Japan]

Meanwhile, as Ren was helping his classmates upgrade their stats, another event was occurring away from the students as outside of UA's Gates, a crowd of people was forming, all screaming at the news of Summer Trip going wrong. Reporters yelled out loud wanting answers that could be heard through the conference room.

"When are you going to open the gates?"

"We hear your silence!"

"When can we expect an official statement from UA's administration?"

"Has anyone been in contact with the families of the children you've allowed to be endangered?"

Ignoring the reporters, Nezu soon spoke up in a serious tone, addressing the issues that occurred, "We established the training camp to prepare for the battle against the villains, and then they attacked. The irony of it is embarrassing. We knew the League would resurface. But we lacked a fundamental understanding of their plans. They aim to destroy the hero society. And they've already started their war."

Everyone in the room nodded their heads as Midnight spoke up with her hands grasped together in a neutral tone and said, "Even if we'd taken it more seriously, could we have prevented this relentless flurry of attacks? Most organized crime has been eliminated since the rise of All Might, so all that's left is the best of the worst…"

Present Mic agreed with Midnight's words as he spoke up in a dissatisfied tone about how the villains knew of the Summer Trip, "Yeah! We got too complacent in this peaceful era. Otherwise, there'd be no need for preparations when we realized what was happening."

All Might remained silent as Snipe spoke up, saying in a neutral tone of their actions of almost letting the students get in harm's way, "I reckon we can't pretend to be undaunted no longer… like how we went and held the Sports Festival just after that other attack. Lettin' a student get wrangled is one serious failure for UA."

Lady Nagant also chimes in, leaning her back against the table in a neutral tone, and says, reading the news report, "We were fortunate that we had Ren-san to figure out the traitor with his skills to plan this. But it seems like we were too late to react as the League of Villains took away the public's trust in us Heroes."

*Hup*

Nezu soon reveals a newspaper and tablet showing that the media is slandering words on them in a neutral tone, "Yup! And the media's having a field day censuring UA. We can assume that they intentionally targeted one of our students for unknown reasons. But we can rest assured now with the traitor detained; we won't have to worry about any outside or insider intel leaks."

All the teachers nodded at the news when Yuga Aoyama and his family were brought into UA under custody, giving hard facts about All for One's existence. Nezu nodded his head as he explained in a stoic tone, "Anyhow, the task at hand is to ensure the student's safety. In light of this recent event, there's something I've been considering for a while now. That is the new student into the hero course – "

*BEEP*

That was when Nezu was interrupted by All Might's phone ringing out as he quickly left the room, apologizing in a sheepish tone, "Sorry, gotta take this."

Leaving the room with his colleagues criticizing him for having his phone on during an important conversation. After answering the phone and receiving evidence of the location of where the League of Villains hideout, All Might speaks in a determined tone, "You're… one heck of a pal… when we find those criminals, I'm gonna say… I am here… to fight back!"

*Bulge*

Ending the call, All Might thought to himself in a determined tone, showing his powered-up form, 'Don't worry, young Tenko… I'll save you from All for One's clutches soon and hopefully bring you back to the light… for Nana-Sensei.'

With renewed vigor and purpose, the call to action would come in 2 days for when the Hideout Raid would occur, gathering heroes suited for the task at hand. They began gathering heroes who were able to help in the situation…

~Ren Y. POV~

[Day 4, UA Highschool, Heights Alliance, Musutafu, Japan]

Observing the media outside the gates of UA, it seems like our Summer Trip might come to an end a lot sooner than expected. With the staff busy handling the situation, there wasn't much option for our classmates to be busy training with the media hounding the entrance into UA Gate.

So, instead, everyone began to discuss or do some physical training exercises to see how their STR stats have changed from originally. As for me though I was inside my own room dorm for the time being letting my clones help my classmates.

With how the Hideout Raid is gonna happen, I gotta be there for when All for One shows up. I need to be there for things to get out of hand and a chance… a chance to copy his Quirk [All for One].

But that won't be enough. Nothing is truly ever enough.

Using my [Sub-Space], I began to get the Nana Shimura dead nail sample. It was time I got ALL of the power of [One for All] that is contained within the nail sample to truly cement myself as the strongest.

Using [Overhaul], I began to merge the remnant powers of the previous users. I flinched, breaking down my body, dissembling it, and assembling it to fit the power of [One for All] Quirks into me without breaking my body down like Nines or All for One.

Upon doing so, I've gotten the notification. I smiled happily, reading the description to see if it worked.

[The user has merged using [Overhaul] Quirk with the item [Nana Shimura Dead Nail Sample], resulting in the Quirk [One for All] to recognize regaining the lost parts of its core while retaining lost abilities!]

Perfect. I smirked seeing the results feeling new abilities I have within me.

(Passive/Active) Lv.-

Description: This quirk allows the user to stockpile an enormous amount of raw power, significantly enhancing all their physical abilities to a superhuman level. It can use [Quirk Bestow] to offer a target a Quirk of their choosing.

This results in unbelievable strength, speed, and durability levels by boosting the host cells by +1 x Lv. for all Stats except LUCK. This quirk can even grant the user an exceptional strength boost to their given Quirks.

-All Quirks-related skills attacks, attack speed, effects, and damage increase by 1% x the user level.

- [One for All: 100%]: This will allow the user to use the full power of [OFA], increasing the user's power beyond belief but limited to a time limit of 1 sec x the user's level. Once used, the user will collapse from exhaustion, but in return, all PP Cost skills won't cost any Power Points while in this state.

-Below are the Quirks that have been assimilated within [One for All]:

[Gearshift] (Active) Lv.-

Time Limit: 5:00

Description: [Gearshift] allows the user to change the speed at which things accelerate through space. It is even capable of changing speeds while ignoring the laws of inertia, showing a blue energy aura. However, if the user is in their current empowered form for too long without rest, the body will not receive enough oxygen to properly function.

The blowbacks are that when active, the user will have a 5:00 time limit of this quirk, but when time runs out, the user will be incapacitated/exhausted, or if [Gearshift] is used more than once after the initial five minutes, the blowback will be twice as great as the previous one, as it may cause intense pain to the body, rendering the user nearly paralyzed.

[Fa Jin] (Active) Lv.-

Description: [Fa Jin] allows the user to build up kinetic energy by performing repetitive movements, emitting red-colored glowing energy, and storing it for later use. When the user chooses to release the energy, they gain an explosive burst of speed and power. The user can use the energy with any part of their body. The user can choose to use only some of the stored energy at a time, allowing them to achieve multiple bursts of speed and power.

[Danger Sense] (Passive) Lv.-

Description: This Quirk allows the user to detect any potential threats in the surrounding area, thus allowing the user to properly react to them quickly, like a sixth sense. The detection of a threat is described as a sharp stabbing sensation in his head, visualized as a yellow lighting striking down. The Quirk can sense one's intent and their negative emotions. Against human enemies, [Danger Sense] is triggered by their intentions of threat and malice.

[Blackwhip] (Active) Lv.-

Description: [Blackwhip] grants the user the ability to produce energy tendrils from any part of their body and command them at will. These tendrils are black in coloration with a glowing light teal outline. This Quirk appears to be powered by emotions, primarily anger, meaning the greater the anger, the stronger the Quirk becomes. Its strength is based on the user's STR stats.

[Smokescreen] (Active) Lv.-

Description: [Smokescreen] allows the user to generate a thick cloud of purple smoke from their body. The smoke can be spread to cover a very wide area. This serves to obscure the vision of opponents and catch them by surprise or leave the users blind themselves if they're not careful.

[Float] (Active) Lv.-

Description: [Float] allows the user to levitate and suspend themselves in mid-air. With the added enhancement of the stockpiled energy from [OFA], [Float] becomes drastically more powerful, allowing the user to fly at high speeds.

Perfect. I grinned seeing the power and thankfully no ghost emerging out of this.

I was hesitant to do this earlier because there was a chance those vestiges would remerge or specifically Nana Shimura would return. But seeing that the gamer systems hadn't notified me of any living ghost I sighed a breath of relief.

That means no mentor ghost looking after me. Thank goodness this worked, and I won't have to worry about my body dying faster with a short life expectancy.

Sighing a breath of relief, I have about two days before the raid happens. One is at the League of Villains base, and the other is at Yokohama City in Kanagawa, specifically, in the Kamino Ward, where the Nomu factory is located.

It's too soon for me to attempt anything in that place. But what I need now is currently to grab a DNA sample of [All for One] for me to add to my arsenal.

This is gonna be risky, but it is also the first time seeing the guy himself. I might get the chance if I head to Yokohama City in Kanagawa, but first, let's see how I can refine my Quirks in [One for All] with [Gene Refinement] to get some better skills or improvements at the very least.

Still, though, all of them have no PP Cost when attached to [OFA]. I suppose just by doing the actions; I can still effectively use it to the max since it derives its power from the stockpile it gained over the generations.

Damn. Deku got handed his golden finger in the series, but I'm glad I took it, seeing I'm gonna need to practice my Quirks to the max. I wonder if I can use [Gene Refinement] on my extra parts?

Upon doing so I soon found out there was a problem going about using [Gene Refinement] on the Quirks I absorbed. I frowned reading the description.

[Ding!]

[The skill [Gene Refinement] cannot be used on the absorbed cores of [OFA] due to being created from the Quirk!]

[If the user wishes to advance them the user should find a way to upgrade the Quirk [OFA] itself!]

Damn it… guess I can still work with this. It is fine to have useful skills that won't cost PP at least; this will certainly surprise All for One.

Hmm… I wonder if I can use [Blackwhip] for some tentacle play having sex. I mean, I can't be the only one to think this at least once, right?

This requires some testing to figure out if I can combine it with my other skills. If it works I can at least handle having to please a harem of girls without relying on my clones…
