MHA Dungeon Master

Chapter 37: School Days 2

Inside Yaoyorozu Momo's luxurious car, upholstered in soft cream leather, the three teenagers sat facing each other. A delicate vanilla scent from the car freshener mingled with Momo's feminine perfume, creating a calming atmosphere. Morning sunlight streamed through the car windows, reflecting a soft sheen off the wooden panels on the dashboard, adding to the vehicle's elegance.

In the back passenger seat, Yaoyorozu Momo sat gracefully, her school uniform perfectly fitting her figure. Across from her sat Yusha Emilia, a girl with short, bright red hair, possessing a cool and slightly mysterious face, yet radiating friendliness. Beside Emilia sat Yusha Himaru, a young man with a calm yet spirited aura.

The car glided smoothly through city streets bustling with morning activity. The soft hum of the engine was barely audible, punctuated only by light conversation among them. Momo, with her sharp, inquisitive black pupils, broke the comfortable silence.

"You two seem very close," Momo greeted with a friendly smile, looking back and forth between Himaru and Emilia. "Have you been friends for a long time? Or... perhaps something more than friends? I apologize if my question is too direct," she continued in a polite tone, yet showing great curiosity.

Himaru and Emilia exchanged glances briefly before Himaru answered calmly, "Oh yes, before we get ahead of ourselves, let me introduce myself again. My name is Yusha Himaru." He pointed to himself, then gestured towards Emilia sitting beside him. "And her name is Emilia." Himaru concluded his introduction with a polite smile.

Emilia nodded and added in a soft but clear voice, "Nice to meet you, Yaoyorozu-san. I'm Yusha Emilia." She returned Momo's smile with a faint smile that made her sharp eyes look more approachable.

Momo nodded, listening attentively to their introductions. Afterwards, Momo looked back at them and asked, "Yusha-san, Emilia-san, you have the same family name... are you two siblings?" This time, Momo asked more specifically to satisfy her curiosity.

Himaru chuckled slightly at Momo's question. "Yes, we do share a family name, Emilia is indeed my younger sister," Himaru paused for a moment, giving a slight pause before continuing, "But, we're actually not blood-related siblings."

Hearing Himaru's answer, Momo's eyebrows rose slightly in surprise. "Not blood-related? Then... how is that possible?" Momo asked in a confused yet increasingly intrigued tone.

Emilia answered this time, "It's a bit of a long story, Yaoyorozu-san. In short, although we are siblings, we have no blood relation." Emilia added a touch of mystery to her explanation.

"Oh, I see..." Momo murmured softly, trying to process this new information. She looked at Himaru and Emilia once more, trying to find further clues about their unique relationship. Actually, Momo was very curious to know more about how Himaru and Emilia became siblings without blood ties, but she felt it was impolite to ask further, especially at their first meeting. Finally, Momo decided to change the subject.

"Yusha Himaru, Yusha Emilia... if I'm not mistaken, during the school entrance exam ranking announcement, your names were at the top, right?" Momo tried to steer the conversation to a more general topic. "Yusha-san was first, and Emilia-san was third, correct?" Momo asked with a smile, showing her admiration.

Himaru smiled shyly at Momo's praise. "Well, you could say that. But it's all thanks to our parents' good guidance," Himaru replied modestly. Then, Himaru returned the question to Momo, "Yaoyorozu-san herself was ranked second, wasn't she?"

"Yes, that's right. But still not as good as Yusha-san who ranked first!" Momo replied in a slightly unconfident tone, even though she herself was the second-ranked student.

"It's not that great, but if I may offer a suggestion, just call me Himaru. Since we share the same family name, it would be less confusing," Himaru suggested in a relaxed and friendly tone.

"Himaru is absolutely right, Yaoyorozu-san. Please don't hesitate," Emilia added, supporting her brother's suggestion.

Momo thought for a moment. Himaru's suggestion made sense. Calling each other by first names would create a more familiar atmosphere. "Alright, in that case... since you both want me to call you by your first names, then you both have to call me Momo too, okay?" Momo said with a slightly hopeful tone, establishing a new rule in their friendship.

Emilia and Himaru seemed slightly hesitant for a moment, exchanging glances again. Perhaps they were not used to calling people they had just met by their first names.

Momo noticed their hesitation and added, "Don't hesitate. This is also so we can be fair, right?" Momo said in a serious yet friendly tone, emphasizing the importance of equality in friendship.

"Okay, Momo," Emilia finally replied with a wider smile, accepting Momo's suggestion.

"Then, Momo..." Himaru also followed Emilia's lead, but then he brought up a topic that he found more interesting. "But this is truly an extraordinary coincidence, isn't it? Ranks one, two, and three meeting on the way to school on the first day." Himaru expressed his amazement at this unexpected meeting.

"Huh? Now that I think about it... you're right, this is indeed surprising!" Momo chimed in with a rather surprised tone. "Could it be... destiny?" Momo asked jokingly, but her eyes showed a hint of hope.

They laughed together, the atmosphere inside the car becoming more relaxed and friendly. The conversation flowed as the luxury car glided gracefully towards their new school, creating unforgettable initial memories on their first day of school.

After a while, Yaoyorozu Momo's luxury car finally arrived at the magnificent school gates. Himaru, Emilia, and Momo got out of the car. As soon as the car doors opened and they stepped out, they immediately became the center of attention. Some students who happened to be around the parking area turned and stared at them in admiration.

The combination of a handsome man with a calm aura and two beautiful women with elegant charm stepping out of a luxury car was like an opening scene in a popular teen drama. Many eyes followed their steps with admiration and a hint of envy. The luxurious and charming impression radiating from the three made the atmosphere around the school gate livelier and more colorful.

A male student who looked older than them, with a slightly shabby uniform and a melancholic gaze, murmured softly, almost whispering, "Is... is she the protagonist from a Light Novel?" he asked his friend next to him in a surprised and slightly envious tone.

However, Himaru, Emilia, and Momo did not pay much attention to the admiring whispers and curious stares directed at them. They remained focused on their main goal: finding the class bulletin board. Each of them was filled with curiosity and enthusiasm to immediately find out which class they would be placed in.

"Momo, Emilia, let's go look at the bulletin board and find out if we're in the same class or not," Himaru invited enthusiastically, his steps firm towards the bulletin board area that was usually crowded with new students.

"Okay, let's go," Emilia replied with an agreeing smile. She followed Himaru's steps gracefully.

"Alright, Himaru," Momo replied with a firm nod. She walked beside Himaru, ready to face the surprise of class placements.

The three of them walked through the increasingly dense crowd of students around the school. With firm steps, they pushed through the crowd towards the bulletin board located near the school's main building. The low rumble of student conversations, mixed with the sound of footsteps and curious murmurs, created a typical atmosphere on the first day of school.

When they finally arrived in front of the bulletin board, Himaru's eyes unintentionally fell on a female student standing not far away. Even though she looked slightly different from her usual appearance, Himaru would still never mistake the wrong person. Without hesitation, he stepped closer and patted the girl's shoulder friendly. "Itsuka, good morning!" he greeted cheerfully, his smile widening.

The orange-haired girl, who was busy searching for her name on the class list, was momentarily startled by the sudden touch on her shoulder. She turned around with a confused expression, but when she heard the familiar voice greeting her, her expression immediately changed to relief and cheerfulness.

"Oh, Himaru, Emilia, good morning!" she replied, turning around and greeting them both with a wide smile. Then, her eyes fell on Momo's figure standing behind them. "Eh? You're with... who?" she asked curiously, looking at Momo with an inquisitive gaze. "Would you introduce who she is, Emilia?" Itsuka asked politely.

"Oh, Itsuka, let me introduce you, she's our new friend," Emilia replied in a friendly tone. "We just met this morning. Because of a slight... 'minor incident', we became acquainted. This is Momo..." Emilia gestured for Momo to introduce herself.

"Hello, my name is Yaoyorozu Momo. As Emilia-san said, because of a slight 'incident' on the way to school this morning, we ended up getting acquainted," Momo said with a smile and a hint of embarrassment and guilt, remembering the accident that almost befell them on the way earlier this morning. She introduced herself politely and friendly.

"'Incident'? What kind of incident?" Itsuka asked, becoming increasingly curious. Her curiosity grew even greater hearing the word 'incident'.

Himaru immediately explained briefly the incident they experienced on the way to school earlier. He recounted concisely about their meeting because he saved a cat that was almost hit by Momo's car which then triggered the beginning of their friendship. Itsuka listened to Himaru's story attentively and occasionally chuckled hearing the funny details in Himaru's story. Their story made the atmosphere of their meeting at school even warmer and more colorful.

After Himaru finished telling the story, the four of them finally managed to reach the front of the class placement bulletin board, after struggling to push through the crowd of other students who also wanted to see their class placement results. The atmosphere around the bulletin board was increasingly crowded and full of enthusiasm from students who were curious about their new classes.

With a little pushing and shoving, the four of them finally managed to find the class list they were looking for. They immediately searched for their respective names on the class list posted on the bulletin board. Although it turned out that the four of them were not in the same class, the class placement results were quite satisfactory and they felt happy with this division. Despite being separated by classes, they remained optimistic and enthusiastic about welcoming the new school year ahead of them.

The class placement results showed that Emilia and Itsuka were placed in class 1-C, while Himaru and Momo were placed in class 1-A. This division did not disappoint them, because they believed that this was a good opportunity to expand their social circle and make new friends from different classes. They exchanged smiles and promised to stay in touch even though they were not in the same class.

After seeing the class placement results, Himaru had to part ways with Emilia and Itsuka to immediately head to class 1-A with Momo. Although they had to part ways temporarily, they promised to maintain communication and support each other in their school days. Their first meeting on the first day of school had sown the seeds of sweet friendship.

The door to class 1-A stood wide open, welcoming Himaru and Momo into a classroom that was new and unfamiliar to them. Their footsteps echoed in the quiet hallway floor as they stepped inside. The scent of fresh paint and chalk dust mingled in the air, creating the typical smell of a newly occupied classroom. Morning sunlight streamed through the large windows, illuminating dust particles dancing in the air.

Classroom 1-A looked spacious and bright, with rows of wooden desks and chairs neatly arranged facing forward, towards the large green chalkboard that dominated the front wall of the class. The chalkboard was still blank and clean, as if waiting for the first touch of the teacher who would teach in this class.

On the side wall of the classroom, there was a simple bookshelf that looked empty, and several new and colorful educational posters. Large windows on the other side of the wall overlooked the green and beautiful school garden, providing a calming view amidst the hustle and bustle of learning activities.

As Himaru and Momo entered the classroom, most of the seats were still empty, but some students were already sitting in their respective places, some were seen chatting with their desk mates, while others seemed busy reading books or playing with their cell phones. Soft conversations and small laughter filled the room, creating a lively yet controlled atmosphere.

Momo took a deep breath as she entered the classroom, her eyes scanning every corner of the room with curiosity. She glanced at Himaru beside her, who looked calm and relaxed, as if accustomed to new atmospheres like this. Himaru always looked calm and confident. No wonder he could be ranked first in the entrance exam, Momo thought again, slightly admiring Himaru's composure.

Himaru himself actually also felt a little nervous, although he tried to hide it behind a calm facial expression. Class 1-A huh… I wonder what my classmates will be like. Hopefully I can quickly adapt to this new environment, Himaru thought inwardly. His eyes moved, observing the students who were already in the classroom, trying to find a familiar face or at least one that looked friendly.

Suddenly, Himaru's eyes fell on a male student sitting in a seat near the window. The student had spiky blonde hair and wore thick glasses, his face looked serious as he read a thick book in his hands. Hmm, that kid… looks like a bookworm, Himaru thought amused, guessing the personality of his new classmate.

As Momo and Himaru walked looking for empty seats, several pairs of eyes turned towards them. Small whispers began to be heard among the students who were already in the classroom. Himaru and Momo's eye-catching appearances were indeed hard to ignore.

A short pink-haired female student, sitting in the front row, stared at Momo and Himaru with a curious gaze. She nudged her long-haired desk mate and whispered, "Look, look! Those two… aren't they the ones who got out of the luxury car earlier?"

Her desk mate, who had long brown hair, also turned and observed Momo and Himaru carefully. "Yeah, it seems like it's them. Wow, they both really look like… main characters in a manga," she whispered back, her eyes sparkling with admiration.

Momo, who was quite sensitive to her surroundings, noticed the whispers and curious stares directed at her and Himaru. She felt a little uncomfortable, but tried to ignore it. Never mind, Momo, don't think too much about it. They're probably just curious because we just came in, Momo thought, trying to calm herself.

Himaru, who was more indifferent and didn't really care about other people's attention, completely ignored the whispers and curious stares from his classmates. He continued to walk calmly, looking for a strategic empty seat.

Finally, Himaru found two empty seats that were strategically located, in the middle row and near the window. "Momo, how about we sit here?" Himaru asked, pointing towards the empty seats.

Momo nodded in agreement. "Sounds good. The location is quite nice," Momo replied with a relieved smile. They both immediately headed towards the empty seats and sat down.

Time passed, the school bell had rung, then a middle-aged man with silver-white hair and wearing a neat suit entered the classroom. The man had a friendly face and a warm smile, a fatherly aura was clearly radiating from him. All the students who were already in the classroom immediately sat up straight and paid attention to the newly arrived teacher.

The teacher stood at the front of the class, in front of the still-blank chalkboard, and looked at all the students with his friendly smile. "Good morning, everyone!" he greeted in a loud and enthusiastic voice, breaking the classroom silence. "Welcome to class 1-A! I am your homeroom teacher, and Japanese language subject teacher, my name is Gojo Satoru. Nice to meet you all on this first day of school."

Gojo Satoru… our homeroom teacher? He looks… quite cool too, Himaru thought, giving an initial assessment of their homeroom teacher. Momo also watched their homeroom teacher attentively.

After giving a lengthy explanation, Mr. Gojo opened a self-introduction session among the students. "Alright, everyone, now it's your turn to introduce yourselves. Starting from the front row on the left, state your name, hobbies, and future aspirations. Let's start with you," Mr. Gojo said, pointing towards the short pink-haired female student sitting in the front row.

The pink-haired student was slightly surprised to be pointed at first, but she quickly stood up with her cheerful smile. "Hi everyone! My name is Sakura Miko, my hobby is reading manga and playing online games. My dream… is to become a famous manga illustrator!" Sakura said enthusiastically, followed by enthusiastic applause from her classmates.

The self-introduction session continued, one by one the students introduced themselves with their respective styles and personalities. Some introduced themselves shyly, some enthusiastically, and some with funny and entertaining styles. The classroom atmosphere became more lively and colorful, as new students began to get to know each other.

It was Himaru's turn to introduce himself. Himaru stood up calmly, his gaze sweeping over the entire class in a friendly manner. "My name is Yusha Himaru. My hobbies are… reading books and light exercise. My aspiration… is to become someone useful to society," Himaru said in a clear and firm voice. Himaru's brief but concise and authoritative introduction made some of the female students in the class look fascinated.

Next, it was Momo's turn to introduce herself. Momo stood up gracefully, a sweet smile gracing her face. "My name is Yaoyorozu Momo. My hobbies are… studying and drinking tea in the afternoon. My aspiration… is to become a successful and independent career woman," Momo said politely and elegantly. Momo's graceful and classy introduction made some of the male students in the class look fascinated.

The self-introduction session finally ended. Mr. Gojo smiled contentedly seeing the enthusiasm and spirit of the class 1-A students. "Excellent! It's great to get to know you all. I hope we can all work well together and create a fun learning atmosphere in this class," Mr. Gojo said in an optimistic tone.

Class 1-A… this looks like it's going to be an interesting class, Himaru thought inwardly, feeling a hint of hope and enthusiasm for his new school life.

Momo also felt the same way. Our classmates and homeroom teacher… everyone seems nice. I hope this new school year will go smoothly and be full of beautiful memories, Momo thought with a small smile on her lips.

And so their first day as junior high school students passed. A day full of new memories, meetings with interesting new friends, and burning spirit to pursue their dreams and goals at this school. The spirited and warm atmosphere of class 1-A became the perfect backdrop for interesting stories that would soon be etched in this school.
