Chapter 3: Chapter 3: Entrance Exam
*
Beginning of the practical stage of the exam. Battle Center "B".
Wow, that tension... Which I haven't really experienced. Heh...
Although the guys around were clearly nervous. Well, considering that not everyone had combat quirks, it's understandable. I wonder who will fly out because of me?
Having surrounded the crowd, I caught up with the growling Katsuki and asked with a laugh:
- Why are you so angry?
- Shut up!
— Do you want a kick?
- Grrr! Get out of the way! Don't bother me!
Smiling, I left him alone and looked around.
So many familiar faces... That same group with Midoriya, Katsuki, and Iida. Of course, there were some missing, like Shoto and Yaoyorozu, but they were recommended, so they shouldn't be here. The rest of the characters were clearly in other groups. I was lucky.
Then I caught sight of a couple of girls from the future Class B. Itsuka Kendo. Ibara Shiozaki.
Cuties...
There were some other unremarkable characters, but they didn't bother me. I crossed glances with girls, many of them, but... As I thought, the task was given only for those who played at least some role in the "original story".
Strange way of selection...
Yeah, I didn't even have to personally choose targets for the harem, the system managed without me.
Strange feeling...
While Iida was scolding Midoriya for the second time, Present Mic suddenly appeared on the roof and shouted:
— What are you standing there for?! Time is not counted in a real battle! Let's go! Let's go! The die has already been cast!
Well...
- Heh... - I grinned, and then jumped up and spread my arms out to the sides!
Let's blow everything up here!
*BOOM*
And like a rocket I shot forward, overtaking everyone. However, as soon as I broke ahead, I heard the familiar echoes of explosions behind me...
Katsuki.
*Boom!* *Boom!* *Boom!*
- Where are you going?! I'LL BE THE FIRST! - my brother shouted furiously, to which I only chuckled and increased the number of explosions!
Well, we'll see who comes first...
*BOOM*
And so began our practical exam, which, in essence, turned into a confrontation between two brothers...
One robot after another, without any mercy. I blew up everything I saw, and he tried to keep up...
*
Meanwhile, at the observation center, UA Director Nezu calmly commented on the situation at the training ground:
— In the practical part, the applicants were not aware of the number and location of the opponents. In addition, space and time are limited. They must deal with the villains. According to the latest data, it is already possible to draw some conclusions...
He calmly commented on the best aspects of many of the participants, hesitating slightly when it came to Koji...
— And here... Amazing ability to use his quirk, even without training at the academy. Look at how he folds his hands to perform long-range attacks. He clearly has well-developed ingenuity. It is noticeably different from the actions of the other... — turning his gaze to Katsuki, Nezu smiled: — Their quirks are the same, but their skills are at a completely different level. It seems that they are brothers. One destroys everything, but the other attacks the vulnerable areas of the "villains" and quickly switches to another target. Moreover, he tries not to damage the buildings, he moves very deftly. He clearly trained a lot and definitely understands much more about what it means to be a hero. Excellent potential.
Midnight nodded with a smile:
- These students are impressive.
The shooter responded indifferently, reaching for the red button:
- Maybe so. But their test is just beginning... - after that he pressed the button, and then the entire training ground shook and the strongest "villain" broke free.
Most of the students were amazed and turned their gaze towards him...
- Ah?! W-what is this?!
- Damn it! Let's run!
- H-huge!
*
- Eighty-first... - having dealt with another piece of iron, I broke the distance and jumped onto the roof, after which the building suddenly shook.
My gaze immediately shifted in the direction of the roar:
"The main boss has appeared?" I ignored him with a grin and moved on. It wasn't a good idea to interfere with Midoriya. Sure, All Might could put in a good word for him even if he didn't get any Salvation Points, but it wasn't worth it. I wouldn't get anything special for it. During the exam, I had interfered in other people's battles more than once and covered for those who couldn't handle the "villains", so I could very well count on personal Salvation Points.
Besides, I tried to secure the buildings and minimize the damage. I will definitely be able to get into the top 1.
So, I jumped up and continued to destroy the remains of the robots...
Meanwhile, the situation around the main boss was heating up. Ochako was under the rubble, and Midoriya, naturally, rushed to her aid and used All Might's quirk for the first time, defeating the "strongest villain" with one blow.
By then I had already dealt with the hundredth robot and was calmly moving towards the exit. Time was almost up. My brother and I had a race and killed everyone here. We even met on the way.
"Bastard! I won't lose to you!" Bakugou growled.
I just waved off his shouts:
- Go wash yourself, you're all dirty. Your mother will kill you.
- Go to hell! And let her go to hell!
Well, it has begun...
I had to give him a slap on the back of the head for that.
And then...
*BOOM!*
- Wow... - I looked into the distance, at the giant robot that had flown away. Even Katsuki, who was rubbing the back of his head in irritation, turned around in surprise:
- What the...
I chuckled.
"Not bad... One For All is really impressive..."
Such power could kill even me. Lucky that it ended up in the hands of such a simpleton...
"Let's go already," I grabbed Bakugo by the collar and dragged him towards the exit.
Time's up.
- Ow! Let go! I'll kill you!
- Don't spit, dirty girl.
— Graaaaa!
That's how this short and rather boring practical test ended...
Afterwards, Healing Girl healed some of them, and then we went home. The written exam, by the way, took place before the practical one, but of course there were no problems with that. I was an excellent student and one of the best in school, so I didn't even bother.
So we returned home...
