Nero appeared out of my shadow with a pout, I wonder why. "Dad I'm hungry"
My mouth twitched with annoyance, why was she suddenly so gluttonous. ah whatever. "Don't worry Nero, we'll get some food once we find Nick fury"
She was still upset but nodded her head obediently, maybe I should have brought some food. I then turned to Satella who was looking at me with a strange smile. "Oh?! is she a spirit?"
"Eh more like a physical being that can control shadows and enter the shadow real, anytime she wants" I did not know the full extents of her ability and I might have to check her abilities from the system after it updates.
What a pain.
Satella merely titled her head but I could feel her weird sense of enthusiasm coming from her. "hmm well okay, since it is our Admin's daughter I will make sure to protect her too"
I nodded at the declaration, though I would rather do that myself than trust her to a psychopathic witch that made someone immortal and go countless circles of deaths just because she loved him, I still will not forget Beyond the eleventh second I am surprised Subaru didn't go insane or maybe he just realized it was inevitable and even if he committed suicide he would just come back to realize nothing has changed and he starts the day from the beginning again.

Satella nodded innocently, she was cute but clearly not my type and I see her as an obsessed child that won't let go of anything once she gets a hold of it.
Nero turned herself small and climbed up my shoulder. It was quite cute, a spider on your shoulder. well to some people it is creepy.
I went into the forest leaving Satella behind to go on her way.
Deep within the forest, Nick was running. Running from what you ask?, well it is of course a Grimm, a pack of Beowulf's actually, he was holding a gun, specifically it looks like a desert eagle. He fired a few rounds, each shot hitting its mark, but the Grimm were relentless. Their glowing red eyes shone through the darkness as they circled him like hungry wolves sensing an easy meal. His breathing was ragged, and he was running out of options.
"Of all the damn places to end up in," Nick muttered under his breath. "Where the hell is backup?"
Just as one of the Beowolves lunged at him, claws aiming for his throat, a shadow flickered, and in the next instant, the creature was bisected cleanly in two.
Nick's eyes widened as he watched the rest of the pack freeze, their instincts kicking in as something far deadlier than them had arrived.
From the darkness, I stepped forward, my knife gleaming slightly in my hands, I turned to look at Nick and smirked. "isn't that eyepatch of yours working"
Nick furies single working eye twitched. "I can see threats before they arrive but it's complete shit if you aren't powerful, Damn it?! didn't you promise me powers!"
I chuckled. "I am called Chara dreemur, I'm a fallen human with the self proclaimed title of demon, I am a noble being that keep promises and you will get your abilities, I just need to find a way to awaken your aura, also Nero if you kill these bugs quickly I'll get you some meat quicker"
The spider which was my daughter jumped down from my shoulder and transformed into her human for, her purple eyes immediately turned to me. "Really?"
She turned her head so fast that her hair got messed up a bit.
I patted her head, fixing her hair with a small chuckle. "Yes, really. So go ahead and clean up."
Nero grinned, revealing her sharp little fangs before dashing forward. The Beowolves hesitated for only a moment before letting out a collective snarl, lunging at her with deadly intent.
Nick took a step back, gun still raised, but I put a hand on his arm, lowering it. "No need for that. Just watch."
As the Grimm closed in, Nero's body flickered, dissolving into the very shadows beneath them. The creatures skidded to a stop, sniffing the air in confusion, but before they could react their shadows twisted until a giant spider leg came out of each one impaling them through their chests.
Nick Fury's eye widened as the Beowolves howled in pain, their bodies slowly dissolving into nothingness as the corruption of the Grimm failed to withstand the eerie, overwhelming darkness that was Nero's power.
She reappeared in the center of the massacre, her small figure looking almost angelic—if not for the blood-red glint in her eyes and the sinister grin on her lips. "Done," she said, flicking her wrist to dispel the last remnants of shadow.
I clapped my hands. "Good job, my little nightmare."
Nero beamed with pride, skipping over to me while holding out a small chunk of something. "Look, Dad! I saved a piece for you!"
Nick took a step back, looking at the black, pulsing flesh in her hands. "...Please tell me that's not edible."
Oh she took the flesh of a purely energy being, huh well that's cute. "Did you absorb any of it"
Nero nodded. "Yeah, there was bit of disgusting light inside but there was a lot of darkness too"
I raised a brow at that. "Disgusting light, huh? Guess Grimm have some kind of remnant energy that doesn't mix well with you."
She scrunched her nose, clearly unhappy about the taste. "It was bitter and gross, but the darkness was tasty!" She grinned, showing her little fangs again.
Nick Fury, meanwhile, looked like he was re-evaluating every single life choice that led him to this moment. "Alright, what the hell did I just witness? Kid eats darkness now? That a thing?"
I smirked. "It is when you're my daughter."
Nick pinched the bridge of his nose. "You know what? Forget I asked."
Just then, the air shifted—something cold, something eerie. I felt a presence creeping through the trees, watching us.
Satella, who had gone in another direction, suddenly reappeared right beside me, her expression oddly giddy. "Admin~ I found a city near this forest, it's called Vale"
Well seeing this innocent yet terrifying witch appear near me I decided to stop playing around. "Oh, interesting it seems we have found our starting area"
