"Fly here, fly there!"

After collecting the Cosmic Cube and the machine used to extract it, George followed the conveyor belt, carefully placing the glass jars filled with blue energy into a box one by one.

During this time, numerous fully armed Hydra soldiers tried to stop him, but all of them ended up being taken down by the energy guns in their own hands.

As for the energy guns, George collected those as well.

These weapons, which used the Cosmic Cube's energy for attacks, were powerful—powerful enough that even in the vastness of space, they'd still be considered formidable. Even if George had no use for them in the future, they could still be useful to someone else.

"Who is this guy?"

In the base's office, Dr. Zola, now integrated with the robot, watched the footage from the security monitors. He saw George effortlessly taking the Cosmic Cube and the machine, wiping out all the Hydra soldiers that tried to stop him.

The monitor screen even flickered with static, and smoke began to rise from the CPU.

Zola quickly accessed Hydra's intelligence database and began searching for information on George.

"Headmaster of the Academy of Superpowered Beings, Pierce lent him robot soldiers because of this guy. He has the abilities of Magneto and Professor X, and can summon lightning..."

Moments later, all available data on George was stored into Zola's memory.

"The Cosmic Cube absolutely cannot be lost!"

Even though Zola understood how powerful George was, he was unwilling to simply give up the Cube.

After years of scheming, he had finally gotten his hands on the Cosmic Cube again, just beginning his research—there was no way he would let it be taken away just like that.

Moreover, for Hydra's plans to completely dominate Earth and solidify their rule, having access to powerful energy weapons was essential.

Without the Cosmic Cube, the energy required for their energy weapons would be lost, and without that, these weapons would be nothing more than sticks of metal.

"Karl Kreel, go take care of the intruder. Remember, he can control metal, so don't turn into metal."

Karl Kreel had once been a boxer in Hell's Kitchen. After losing a match he should have won, he caused his boss significant losses and nearly ended up being fed to sharks.

But he unexpectedly awakened the ability to alter his body's molecular structure simply by contact. He was later monitored by S.H.I.E.L.D. as a superpowered individual.

Eventually, Hydra recruited him, and after several experiments to enhance his abilities, he became Dr. Zola's bodyguard, known by the codename "Absorber."

Zola believed that as long as Absorber didn't turn into metal, George's control over metal wouldn't affect him. Furthermore, Absorber's ability to alter his body's molecular structure also served to block mental influence, making him immune to psychic attacks.

With the help of other Hydra soldiers, Zola believed they still had a chance.

"Everything is taken care of. Now, let's go deal with Dr. Zola."

After collecting all the glass energy jars and the energy weapons, George used a tracking spell to locate Dr. Zola.

A scientist like Zola definitely needed to be dealt with. Otherwise, who knew what kind of troublesome black technology he might develop in the future?

In the Marvel world, scientists were not to be underestimated, especially Earth's scientists. Though they might just appear as intellectuals focused on research, they could easily create a major crisis out of nowhere.

Many Marvel villains were former scientists.

Take Bolivar Trask, who created the Sentinels, or the omnipotent Doctor Doom. There were also villains like Doctor Octopus, Lizard, and Green Goblin.

Even though Zola had merged with the robot, as long as his soul remained intact, the tracking spell would still work.

"Footprints reveal—Annihilator Zola!"

As the spell took effect, golden trails began to appear in front of George, each pointing directly to Zola's location.

By following these trails, he would find Zola.

However, before he could go far, a large group of Hydra soldiers blocked his path.

These soldiers no longer carried energy weapons. Instead, each of them wielded non-metallic shields and charged toward George with reckless abandon.

George paid no attention to them. He immediately manipulated the floating energy guns nearby and began shooting at the charging Hydra soldiers.

Zola must have discovered George's identity and learned some information about him, which led him to instruct the Hydra soldiers to use non-metallic shields in an attempt to close the distance and engage him in close combat to kill him.

However, these non-metallic shields were clearly not specially made. They were hastily assembled from whatever non-metal materials they could find that offered some defensive capability, including actual wooden doors.

These makeshift shields were obviously ineffective against the energy guns.

Before even getting close to George, most of the Hydra soldiers were already eliminated by the energy guns.

"Two hundred million volts electric shock!"

As for the remaining Hydra soldiers, when they thought they were finally close enough to have a chance, George suddenly erupted with a massive electrical shock, instantly frying them to the point of being charred and collapsing to the ground.

However, just as George was about to continue forward, he unexpectedly sensed a strong punch coming from behind. He quickly sidestepped to avoid it.

"To think there's still a straggler who managed to dodge my mental detection."

Standing before him was a muscular man wearing a Hydra soldier's combat uniform, but with rubber-like skin on his face.

This muscular man, seeing that George had evaded his attack, didn't pause for a moment. He continued his relentless assault, throwing punch after punch with impressive technique, targeting George in a flurry of attacks.

Unfortunately for him, George's abilities weren't limited to magic and superpowers—his physical capabilities far exceeded those of an average person, particularly his reflexes.

With ease, George dodged every one of the man's attacks.

He was slightly surprised, though. This man could withstand a 200-million-volt electric shock, and even more unexpectedly, he was able to block his mental detection.

Normally, if there were anyone nearby with malicious intent, or attempting an ambush, George's mental detection would have immediately alerted him. Yet, he hadn't sensed this man when he was knocked out cold on the ground.

"It looks like he's also a superpowered individual."

With his suspicions confirmed, George no longer toyed with the idea of playing around. He swiftly retreated to avoid another attack, pulling a coin from his pocket.

"Super Electromagnetic Cannon!"

The coin, charged with electricity, shot out at supersonic speed, hitting the muscular man directly. The impact sent him flying into the base's wall, creating a large, fist-sized hole in his chest.

"He's not dead?"

What surprised George, however, was that despite the severe injury, the man didn't die. In fact, the hole in his chest was slowly healing and closing up.

"That hurts! I'm going to kill you!"

The muscular man roared in anger, pulling a small piece of granite from his pocket. He activated his power, and his body instantly transformed into the hardest form of granite. With a powerful leap, he crashed toward George.

"Ah, so it's Absorber!"

Seeing the man's body morph from rubber to granite, George immediately deduced his identity.

Without hesitation, George pulled out his wand and cast a spell as the Absorber descended from above.

"Avada Kedavra!"

A green magic beam shot out, striking the Absorber directly. The moment the curse hit, Absorber's granite form shattered and reverted back to his original state, and he collapsed to the ground, eyes closed, as the life left his body.
