Chapter 177: Chapter 177 Take this, Monkey King
Loki furrowed his brows, stopping in his tracks. He looked at Arthur, who was getting up from the ground, and asked, "Staff master… Who is that?"
"It's none of your business," Arthur replied, springing up from the ground and stretching his arms. "Asgard really lives up to its reputation. Such a collision didn't even leave a crack on the floor. What kind of stone do you guys use to build your houses?"
"That's none of your concern. Hand over the sword."
Loki reached out his hand as he spoke.
Arthur sighed. "You're already being quite petty. Do you still want more?"
"Hmph!"
Loki's eyes narrowed before he pointed his magic staff at the ground, and a powerful force surged towards Arthur. "Mortal, recognize your place! You are just a human! I have been patient with you time and time again, but that doesn't mean you can disregard the dignity of the gods!"
"Impressive, impressive!"
Arthur treated the force like a gentle breeze. Having experienced Odin's level of pressure, Loki's methods were not enough to shake him.
After dismissing Loki's threat with a casual comment, Arthur released the Abomination and said, "As a God, you have your dignity. As a human, I have my own. So whether you like it or not, I won't be handing over this sword today. If you want to cut off my retreat, be prepared to pay the price!"
"I'll kill you!!"
"Come on, do you think I'd be afraid of you?" Arthur stood his ground and spoke with an intense look in his eyes.
At that moment, a gust of wind swept through the sky, and a striking figure in armor, with a red cape and a large hammer in his hand, landed on the ground.
"Loki!" Thor appeared, glaring at Loki with an angry expression on his face.
Loki's expression changed immediately as he was clearly surprised by Thor's quick arrival. He gritted his teeth in anger. "Don't force me!"
"Give up!" Thor stepped forward. "Your actions need an explanation, not just for me, but for father as well…"
Before he could finish, Thor suddenly spun around and brought his hammer crashing down towards Arthur!
But Arthur, seemingly prepared, vanished in an instant. The giant hand of the Abomination grabbed at the 'Thor' figure's head, but it swept through it as if it were an afterimage.
'Thor' vanished immediately.
"This is impossible!"
Loki's expression genuinely changed. "Your eye… It wasn't here!"
"Just because it wasn't here doesn't mean I wouldn't be prepared," Arthur smirked. "When dealing with someone like you… well, God or not, how could I not be wary of your tricks?"
As he spoke, a two-handed sword appeared in his hand. In a flash, Arthur was right in front of Loki, and with a swipe of the sword, Loki raised his magic staff to block!
There was a clang, and Loki's arm trembled slightly. His face darkened as he kicked out, but Arthur's figure vanished suddenly!
Thunderous footsteps approached from behind. It was the giant Abomination who reached out for Loki's leg. Just as his fingers made contact, Loki's form once again disappeared like an afterimage.
Arthur reappeared on the Abomination's shoulder, frowning slightly. He quickly drew a The Eye of Horus symbol in the air.
The Eye of Horus rose, surveying all directions.
Immediately, Arthur saw a figure reappear behind him, aiming the magic staff like a spear.
Arthur quickly moved, appearing above Loki. His two-handed sword transformed into two handguns, and with two bursts of energy shots, he fired at Loki.
Loki, sneering, heard the sound. "Human…"
Before he could finish, the two shots struck him in the head. With a scream, he fell from mid-air, clutching his head in agony. "Impossible! How could human weapons harm me?"
As he spoke, he swiftly dodged, and the remaining bullets hit the ground.
The Abomination roared, reaching out to grab Loki. However, Loki was slippery and elusive. Despite Arthur's second attempt to control the Abomination and gain an edge in agility, it proved difficult.
In a fit of rage, the giant swung his fists, smashing through a wall and then furiously pounding the ground with debris!
Loki looked stunned when he saw this scene. Had this giant lost his mind?
Then, the giant grabbed a stone and hurled it at Loki.
At the same time, Arthur descended from the air, his weapon now a large sword, coming down in a powerful strike!
But the stone swept past Loki's face, and he disappeared from his original spot.
Arthur's sword cut through empty air. He then heard the sound of synchronized footsteps approaching them. Turning around, he saw a squad of Asgardian soldiers charging towards him.
"It's me, I'm over here!"
Loki suddenly appeared in mid-air, pointing at Arthur. "Capture him! He has stolen the Guardian Sword!"
"Damn it!"
The expression on Arthur's face changed as he spoke. "You're despicable!"
Loki didn't think there was anything wrong with this accusation, but he was impatient. He had been entangled with this mortal for too long and was worried that Thor might arrive at any moment.
Seeing the Asgardian soldiers charging at him, Arthur had no choice but to use the Abomination to deal with them while he aimed his weapon at Loki.
"Without this giant, what are you?"
Loki descended rapidly, wielding his magic staff like a club, aiming to strike at Arthur!
"If you shout 'Take this, Monkey King,' I might be a bit afraid!" Arthur taunted.
Arthur quickly spun his handguns, crossing the grips just in time to block the staff. He then pulled the guns apart, and their crossed grips formed a lock that captured Loki's magic staff!
Kicking out, Arthur sent Loki flying a dozen meters away.
This close-range energy attack with handguns… despite the name being quite ridiculous, it was effective.
Arthur tossed the handguns into the air, catching them by their grips and aiming them at Loki, who was getting up. He rapidly fired.
"Take this, Monkey King!"
Suddenly, Loki's voice came from behind, startling Arthur. He blinked out of existence, reappearing in mid-air, and fired his handguns again. "You really said it!"
Loki was forced to retreat, grumbling, "Isn't this supposed to be a spell? You're lying to me!"
A spell, my foot!
Arthur was also confused. Did Loki misunderstand something? As he continued firing, he had to reload the guns, giving Loki a chance to cast a protective magical shield.
Just as Arthur was about to rush forward again, a fierce wind howled from the sky. Arthur looked up, nearly calling out the name of a famous movie star, but quickly corrected himself. "Hammer Blondie!"
