Marvellous Black Bull

Chapter 3: The Unseen War**

### **Chapter 3:

---

**Prologue:**

Asta's presence in Kamar-Taj was not as unremarkable as it first seemed. As the boy with no magic, as an anomaly in a world built on mysticism and magic, he had already defied the natural order. But the merging of **The Void** with his very essence had not gone unnoticed. The dimensional entities, the forces of chaos, and the very fabric of reality itself trembled at what was unfolding.

In the dark corners of the multiverse, the **Outerverse** whispered of a boy who would one day change everything. And somewhere, in the farthest reaches of existence, an ancient force stirred—a being who had once been undone by the very chaos Asta had inadvertently unleashed.

### **Part One: The Beginning of the End**

The **Ancient One** stood on the balcony of the Sanctum Sanctorum, her eyes distant, focused on the shifting strands of magic that wove the fabric of the multiverse. She could sense the disturbances, the growing instability, as the Void continued to meld with Asta's very being. The boy was still young, still so fragile. But already, the signs were clear: **he was destined for something greater**.

"Asta…" she whispered under her breath. "You are the key."

Beside her, **Kacelius** watched, his arms folded as he looked out into the horizon. He was still unsure of Asta, still suspicious of the energy that surrounded him. But despite the wariness gnawing at him, he found himself drawn to the boy. There was something about Asta—something human, yet not. **The Void** inside him was powerful, unpredictable, and dangerous. Kacelius could feel the weight of it in every room, every corridor, like a presence lingering just behind him.

"You've seen it, haven't you?" Kacelius asked, his voice low.

The Ancient One turned to him. "What do you mean?"

"The boy. The *danger* he represents," Kacelius said, eyes narrowing. "It's there, isn't it? A presence I can't place. Something… *wrong*."

The Ancient One studied him carefully. "Yes, Kacelius, I have. But that is not his fault. The Void is both his curse and his gift. We have no idea what he might become."

Kacelius' gaze hardened. "Then we must watch him carefully. He could turn on us when we least expect it."

Her expression softened. "You don't understand, Kacelius. Asta is not just a boy. He is **something more**. And I believe that, in time, he will be the one who saves us all."

Kacelius was about to speak again, but before he could, a **sharp sound** tore through the air—a violent shift in the mystical energies around them.

Asta. The boy was stirring. The **Void System** had activated again.

### **Part Two: The Void Awakens**

Inside the sanctum, **Asta** woke to the sound of strange, distant voices. He had been dreaming—*no*, not dreaming. It was more like hearing whispers from beyond, from some place that felt both familiar and terrifying. His body felt strange, and the Void System pulsed within him once again, its energy both chaotic and tranquil. His senses heightened in an instant.

The swords—the **Demon-Slayer Sword** and the **Demon-Dweller Sword**—rested by his side, their presence almost comforting. He felt their power, like an extension of his own being. But something was different. Something about the Void was starting to *settle* inside him, like a storm that had finally found its calm, but only for a moment.

He stood up shakily, feeling the weight of his new form. He was no longer the same. The physical changes were apparent—his body was stronger, faster, more **aware**. His senses were sharper, the world around him clearer than before. But there was something deeper that had shifted, something intangible but crucial.

"You're up again," came a voice from behind him. It was **Kacelius**, still standing by the door, his arms crossed.

Asta turned to him, smiling widely. "Guess I'm hard to keep down, huh?"

Kacelius raised an eyebrow, his expression unreadable. "You *are* different. Stronger, but more… unpredictable."

"Yeah," Asta said, running a hand through his white hair, which had grown even more striking. "Something's been changing inside me ever since I got here."

Kacelius stepped forward. "Tell me—do you understand what's happening to you? What you've become?"

Asta frowned, unsure how to explain what he felt. "I think I'm still figuring it out. The Void… it's inside me, and it's like I can feel everything. Not just here, but… everywhere. I know it's dangerous, but I can't seem to control it all the time. I don't even know what's real sometimes."

Kacelius nodded slowly, then looked at the **Ancient One**, who had silently entered the room. She studied Asta with an intensity that made him feel exposed, as though she could see right through him.

"Asta," she said softly, "The Void inside you… is not just a power. It's a consciousness, a being, a force. And it is connected to something much older than you or me. It was never meant to merge with a human. But somehow, you became the vessel for its existence. And now, it is awakening within you."

Asta's heart skipped a beat. "What do you mean?"

"The Void is alive, Asta. You have become part of its being. And while you have gained immense power, there are consequences. You must learn to control it, or it will consume you." The Ancient One's voice was both stern and comforting, a paradox that Asta was beginning to understand.

Kacelius didn't say anything, but his gaze remained fixed on Asta. Asta felt something from him—**fear**.

"I'll try my best," Asta said, his voice firm, but a tinge of uncertainty lingered.

The **Void System** activated again, flashing across Asta's vision like an ethereal display. His **Status** appeared before him.

---

**Void System: Current Status**

- **Name**: Asta

- **Age**: 5 (Biological Age)

- **Race**: Human (Bound to the Void)

- **Current State**: **Unstable** (Energy Levels Fluctuating)

---

**Abilities:**

1. **Void Manipulation (Intermediate)**: Control over the Void's chaotic energy, creating void-blasts and warping reality.

2. **Anti-Magic (Enhanced)**: The ability to negate and absorb magic, now enhanced by Void energy, making it even more potent.

3. **Void Constructs (Advanced)**: The creation of ethereal weapons and shields made of Void energy, capable of withstanding great magical attacks.

4. **Dimensional Awareness (Unlocked)**: Ability to sense dimensional rifts and disturbances. The more Asta trains, the better he will control this ability.

5. **Self-Regeneration (Active)**: Enhanced healing factor powered by Void energy. But it comes with a toll—overuse accelerates physical and mental decay.

6. **Chaos Resonance (Active)**: The fusion with the Void has granted Asta a connection to chaotic forces, allowing him to unleash bursts of destructive power. Unstable and dangerous.

---

Asta looked at the glowing interface with a mix of awe and dread. The words "unstable" and "fluctuating" made him nervous, and the fact that the Void was still fighting for control made him realize how fragile his current state was.

The Ancient One, noticing the shift in his demeanor, stepped closer. "The Void is more than just power, Asta. It's a balance. A force of **nothingness** and **everything**. It can either create, or destroy. It depends on how you wield it."

"I'm not sure I even know how to wield it at all," Asta muttered, rubbing his head. "I feel like I'm just… floating in space. It's all so much."

"We will guide you," the Ancient One assured him. "But the path ahead is not an easy one. And there will be forces that seek to use you, control you, or destroy you."

As if on cue, a familiar voice echoed from behind them, carrying a tone of quiet rage.

"**He** is the one who has brought this chaos. And I will make sure he does not escape again."

**Dormammu**, the ruler of the Dark Dimension, stepped out from the shadows, his massive form looming ominously. His eyes were filled with fury, and his dark power rolled off him in waves.

"You thought you could hide him, **Ancient One**," Dormammu sneered, "But I will not allow this child, this **abomination**, to upset the balance of the multiverse."

The Ancient One's eyes narrowed, but she stood her ground. "He is not your pawn, Dormammu. And neither is he mine."

Asta felt a cold chill run through him. **Dormammu**, the one who had once fought for dominion over all dimensions, had arrived to finish what Eonox had started.

But Asta, empowered by the Void System, stood tall.

"I won't let you take me either," Asta declared, his eyes burning with the intensity of the chaotic energy swirling inside him. "I'll stop you, Dormammu."
