~~~Tharlan Shores~~~
~~~June 1942~~~

"Hua!" An unsullied surfaced, shaking his head to reorganize his thoughts, as his body acted on instinct and kept him afloat. He touched his body and noticed that he was fine, and running his hand along his neck, he saw that he no longer brought his totem with him, meaning that the totem had been used and that he had died and revived.

Looking around, he noticed the ship he had been on, half hull down, with smoke billowing from its hull.

"Help us!"

"We're inside the hull!"

Shouts and thumps could be heard from inside the ship's hull, which had begun to slowly stop glowing, signifying that the effects of the enchantments were fading because they had lost power or had been badly damaged.

The Unsullied swam towards the ship, but without any weapon, he could do nothing but hit the metal hard, eliciting shouts of response from the soldiers inside the boat. "Shit, hold on!" The soldier screamed, unable to maintain control knowing what friends, comrades, brothers in arms, were agonizing only inches away from him, while he could do little.

"Soldier, control yourself!" a shout brought him to his senses, causing him to raise his eyes and look up at a witch, who in his eyes looked like an angel.

Three other witches fell to the hull of the ship, with a Xandarian ship coming as close as it could to the half-sunken ship, "take the soldier and take him to the ship, he is not fit to serve now," the witch who had ordered the Unsullied to control himself instructed over him, as she took a dagger from her clothing.

Gripping the enchanted dagger tightly with both hands, the witch embedded the dagger in the deck, and gritting her teeth, began to exert force on the dagger, starting to cut through the metal and leaving a mark on the hull, as if cutting through a tin can.

Another witch joined her, helping her sister rescue the marines inside the ship. Together, they managed to make a large three-sided cut, through which they would get the marines out before the ship sank completely.

"Poom!" The blow to the metal was heard distinctly as the two witches slammed their fists into the hull of the ship, making a small dent in the metal, then, they both inserted the fingers of their hands into the dent, and after a mutual agreement between the two, they tightly gripped the metal of the hull and began to apply terrifying force.

"Click, chick!" The metal began to creak as the witches' turkey brute force managed to make the metal rise at a visible speed, lifting and revealing the situation inside the ship's hull.

Once the hole in the hull was large enough, the two witches set aside the piece of metal that looked like the top of an open sardine can, and then began to help the marines on the semi-sunken ship get out.

"RUUUM!"

In the sky, as ships and witches alike helped the marines from the destroyed ships, Japanese fighter planes and bombers flew overhead, dropping bombs and firing torpedoes alike, while evading as much as they could the enchanted bolts of the scorpions on the Xandarian ships.

A Mitsubishi G4M had set its sights on one of the Xandarian ships, after dropping its torpedo on one of the ships and failing to provoke the expected reaction, it rose again and prepared to drop its four bombs on an enemy ship that was out of the way.

The bomber began to level off and open its bombing hatch, preparing to drop its precious cargo. And just as it was almost on top of the ship, something else came into view.

"ROOOARG!" A wyvern plummeted towards the bomber, crashing into the plane with force, grabbing it with its legs and destroying the plane's tail with its jaw, causing the plane to lose flight and begin to fall.

The wyvern rider instructed his mount to release the plane, which the wyvern did without resisting, flying away again, as the bomber fell and crashed into the sea. More and more wyverns fell from the sky and intercepted the planes, starting an aerial fight.

A Nakajima pilot flew behind a wyvern, firing his cannons to shoot down the creature, which was beating its wings at full force. "Ra-ta-ta! Ra-ta-ta!" The plane's machine guns were running at a thousand, firing uncontrollably at the wyvern in front.

"Pom!" The plane's pilot heard a thud suddenly, forcing him to look around to see if it was a bird. "AAAAHHH!" The pilot screamed, with indescribable terror plastered on his face.

In the back of the plane, a black being with purple specks around its body was attached to the plane, the pilot saw its black skeletal body, its claws and rough skin, and its purple eyes.

That was his mistake, never look an Enderman in the eyes, they don't like it, something that was confirmed when the Enderman let out a piercing scream, then began to destroy the plane with its claws, breaking the glass of the plane's cockpit and reaching the pilot, who was grabbed and torn into parts.

"BOOM!" The plane exploded in midair, covered in flames and smoke, plummeting towards the sea. The enderman, for its part, once it had done its job, abandoned the plane and went in search of its next victim, grunting in happiness toward the next plane.

Underwater, on the four Japanese submarines that were getting closer and closer to the eye of battle, their crew readied torpedoes and stood by to launch them. At the same time, the officers watched the radio waves to determine the location of the enemy Xandarian ships and fire.

Soon, a green light came on in the gun deck, permitting the torpedo operators to open fire. The torpedoes shot out at high speed, towards where the Xandarian ships were believed to be, cutting through the sea waters and propelling hard, reaching their target, only it wasn't the right one.

A dark mouth full of teeth the size of swords welcomed the two torpedoes launched, allowing the torpedoes to enter its interior, and then slammed shut, just in time to see an explosion inside the mouth of whatever the creature was. The beast, over forty meters long, did not suffer from the huge explosion inside its mouth, instead, it seemed as if it enjoyed the effect of the torpedoes.

The beast had several huge horns protruding from the front of its head, with only a huge membranous tail for propulsion and two flippers for maneuvering. However, what stood out most was its single eye, which was enormous, occupying the entire front of its head, with a yellowish iris that seemed to glow.

The Guardian, a creature that was often found among underwater monuments, was in the depths of the coasts of Tharlan, along with others of its kind, which served as protectors of the Empire against attacks by sea. And today, they showed all their might, joining the fight against the Japanese fleet.

The Guardian's giant eye began to glow brighter, as the water around the eye began to bubble and crackle, as ripples were emitted from the eye and spread far and wide, for two seconds, the Guardian's single giant eye glowed, until it reached a blinding brightness.

Then, as if a waterfall had opened, a massive beam shot out of the Guardian's giant eye, advancing at breakneck speed and boiling the water where it passed, reaching the Japanese submarine in a matter of seconds.

The laser hit the Japanese submarine full-on, covering the entire metal surface of the submarine. "BOOOOOOOOM!" The submarine exploded after a second of being attacked by the Guardian's laser, before that, its crew was already in dust, the product of the laser that incinerated every person it came in contact with, then reached the submarine's fuel tanks and causing its explosion and subsequent destruction.

"BOOOOOM!"

Other explosions became evident underwater, quite possibly these were the other Japanese submarines in combat, being destroyed by other Guardians just like the one that destroyed the first.

Only seven minutes had passed since the battle began, but it became evident that the Japanese fleet was no match for the Xandarian armed forces, which were bloodthirsty at the cost of the near death of their fellow soldiers on the four ships that were destroyed at the start.
